Bastard sold me a phone & lied about everything! Completed the sale for a phone they knew they didn't have the phone I wanted in the store. & tried to lie about it. Gave a a damaged phone. They then to me the correct phone would be send to me in 2 days VIP & they would call me to make sure things went as planned. Never got a call or text as they said. No phone was sent I went back too AT&T store which instructed me to what do & ask for next up and they didn't included or ask about the service. They did fully setup or tell me anything about my new. Once I did speak with the store manager each time they continued to lied the sales associate told me I wasn't a permanent person for the sale & was team from Charlotte NC & wouldn't be there. I went back into the store and the lair was there. Still lying I switched from Apple to android but the apps did not transfer over to android. I left metro because I was sick of the lies & yet got scammed & lied to by Best Buy AT& T sales rep just so they could make the sale. They lied again telling me they couldn't do a return for because I wasn't full satisfaction with the product service like they explained it before the purchase. Buy you phone directly from the phone company or someone off line it's not worth the headache & lies they will tell you to make sales. I also had to ask them for my receipt as the sales person never printed it out at the completion of the final sale another Best Buy associate had to print me out a copy. Then they told show me how to operate the new phone or even setup the basic AT&T account to pay & view my phone bastard told me I had to setup automatic payment for billing & that was basically all they did. Customer service was excellent at this location. Although I did not make a purchase on my visit of window shopping and research. I'd recommend visiting here if you're interested in purchasing a washer. The model pictured was the only model with a complete stainless steel impeller and drum for a top loader. Sadly the model I wanted to see was discontinued, but the store selection in stock was impressive. The value is great as most are on sale now. read more

Trying to make an appt. for someone to come out and look at our Hitachi TV from Best Buy is next to impossible . The lady I talked to spoke broken English and could understand even less. When I gave her the Model #P42H401 she said that was not the correct # so i repeated it again. She again said that was not the correct #.I told her that was the model # stamped on the back of the TV and on the paperwork given by Best Buy. She said that was not possible and I was a liar. At 6:00 AM, I boarded a plane to SC to honor my commitment to Best Buy to receive delivery of several appliances fully paid for. This delivery was scheduled and confirmed by Best Buy. When Best Buy experienced a truck breakdown, Best Buy cancelled my delivery, failed to show up, and never bothered to notify me. Only after I called did I learn the reason, for the no show. Issues occur, but what I could not understand was why Best Buy's standard operating procedures have no recovery plan for such failures. The only option presented was to re-enter the queue because " Best Buy does not schedule next day or same day deliveries " - wait several more days--an impossible solution for a customer who had traveled from out of state. From frontline representatives to leadership, there was no concern for the customer. Offering money as compensation for a failed delivery and no remediation or remorse, is not a solution; it is an insult. Customers rely on Best Buy to keep its promises. Best Buy's time is not the only time that matters--customers' time must be valued and respected. Customers have choices, and I have exercised mine. Lowe's confirmed next-day delivery, and kept their promise. They were more thorough in all of their explanations than Best Buy- and provided options. As promised, I have completely severed my relationship with Best Buy. Best Buy is no longer part of my Blavk Friday or Cyber Monday Plans. read more

I scheduled a television to be delivered and was assured that it would arrive between 7am and 7pm that day. I was stuck waiting all day long which would be fine but there was no way to track or to confirm that the television was being delivered or when I could possibly expect the delivery. Going to the About This Order page told me that no additional data other than the time range for the delivery was available. I contacted someone at the store (he had a heavy accent and was difficult to understand) who was trying to give canned responses and even nearly mistook a previously cancelled order for the one involving the delivery. He was only able to assure me that someone would be in contact via email prior to them arriving and that it would be there before 7pm. I called the store again at 6:45pm since my wife was waiting patiently for me to join her at a restaurant for dinner and asked when the delivery would be there or if it was coming at all since I still had not even received an email or text message letting me know that it was on the way yet. The representative still advised that someone would contact me via email and that it would be delivered by 7pm. I asked if I could leave after 7pm without the item being delivered without penalty and they confirmed this. The television was never delivered and I never received any notification at all concerning the delivery. I even made sure it was not in my spam folder. I contacted the store the next day and spoke to the same person who apologized and admitted fault but only had the option to reschedule for another delivery. Well my confidence was shot at this point so I asked to cancel the order altogether. I suggested that if they offered a free delivery option then I may be persuaded to keep the order but they said only that they could refund the whole order so I gave up and took the refund. When I got the refund I found that it was not the full amount that I was expecting so I called again and spoke to someone else (Ron?) who said they needed to get me to their credit card department to help look at the charges and see why the full amount was not refunded. The man I spoke to there sounded a little frustrated with my inability to offer my account number (I had made the purchase as a guest online originally) and did not give me time to find my order number before just getting my information from my phone number and other verification information. He realized shortly after that I was calling not about a Best Buy credit card but a personal one. He then apologized that I had been misrouted and gave me a phone number to call. The woman I spoke to (Peggy I believe?) was very good and help us figure out why the full amount had not been refunded. (I had also purchased a tv wall mount which I had kept so that part was understandably not refunded.) Overall, I refuse to go back to best buy for anything ever again. What they call their "Geek Squad" delivery service was anything but technologically helpful. I don't know it it's the company's tech infrastructure at fault or if it's the CSRs not being able to manage it but it was a small nightmare. read more

I attempted to order a high demand CPU that became available at a store that was about an hour away. I went through all of their stuff about waiting in line and them checking availability before they allowed me to purchase it which I did. Later I got an email that my order was on hold as the authorization was rejected. It said that the CPU would be held 23 hours while I straighten things out. I called PayPal and they said that the payment was authorized but was awaiting bestbuy to "capture" it. I chatted and called bestbuy...all they would say is the authorization was rejected. I then asked if the item is now or ever was in stock...they said that they are currently out of stock so they were just going to hold the order until more come in. I had to make them cancel it. I don't get why they showed it in stock all throughout the buying process and then why they lied about the payment method and then why they said I had 23 hours to buy something that was never in stock to begin with. Been a long time customer...I won't be any longer. Had they just said out of stock, I would have been ok with that. read more

My phone had a glitch and Apple made me an appointment at Best Buy. We have always had great service at Best Buy but this was exceptional. Samuel was beyond the adage "above and beyond". He was kind, professional, knew what he was doing and was fun. I have never had so much trust in anyone working on my phone. He was easy to work with. I went in to get the glitch repaired which he did in a nano second but decided to get a new phone so my husband and I would both have good cameras on our phones for an upcoming trip. I can not express how impressed and blown away I am with the Customer Service Best Buy & The Geek Squad!!!! I purchased an expensive Drone over $1,000 plus with the BETA warranty and had some crashes while working with the drone. The Geek Squad quickly helped me and simple gave me a new one!!! I then again did the same thing and once again it was not able to be fixed but was given another drone!! I can't thank you all enough and express how simple your process was with ZERO HASSEL. This is in no way shape or forum to take advantage of a warranty but as we know Drones Crash and cost very expensive. I use the drone for work in Real Estate and truly made a mistake clipping a tree and thought this was going to be my first/last drone but Damn Sure Wasn't! Would've given a zero if I could. Ordered a $6k oven online. Delivery date came and went 3 times. No one called. I called the 800 number, I've spent probably 10 hours on hold. They make an "escalation ticket" and will call me back and never do. Lost the oven (it's 800 lbs so there's that) found it at a distribution center in ATL but can't bring it here bc it's too big for BB trucks. So I'm out an oven and ten weeks trying to babysit BB. That was apparently too much for them to handle as I got up today to a flooded kitchen. They didn't tighten the water line connection. This wasn't our best visit to Best Buy. We ordered a laptop online with notification it could be picked up within the hour. We waited over 2 hours running errands and waiting on our email. We finally just popped into the store only to be told our order wasn't ready. We were given the option to walk over and pickup our merchandise, bring it to the counter, and they would check us out. The conversation continued with an explanation they had only 1 picker and he was way behind with the orders. I've been in retirement homes that were more upbeat than this place. We all know retail is pretty much on its deathbed at this point, and this store is no exception. Went in yesterday to look at some car audio options, and what staff was present were walking around like zombies with those stupid little masks on. I was one of maybe 5 customers in the store, and it still took a good 15 minutes to get one of the zombies to approach me. When I was finally approached, I asked a basic question about data transmission and the staff member stifled a laugh and really didn't seem to take me seriously. Still, I asked how long it would take to get the equipment installed and was told it would be between 2-3 weeks before someone could do the install. No thanks. I'll either do business with a small business that specializes in what I'm looking for or just order one online and use a video tutorial to do it myself. Never going back to Best Buy again. I love Best Buy for their Black Friday deals - I got my 70" TV a few years ago for half off, a washer/dryer set for my new apartment, and this year the Black Friday sale started early and I was able to by a refrigerator for my new house on a great sale! They do free shipping and installation for big purchases like that too. People who work there are easy to find and great at answering questions, I appreciate that they are so approachable without being in-your-face about your shopping. I have been using this Best Buy location for years and I've never really had an issue with them. But not too long ago I went there to have a radio installed in my 2014 mustang. I had bought all the parts necessary for the installation. I drop off my car so the guys could do their work and I get a call from them saying that there are two screws missing out one of the boxes, that were necessary for the installation. At that point they were not able to install my radio. If you days go by and I decided to just take a look in the box just to make sure the screws were missing before I send it back where I got it from. Tell me why I found the two screws that they said were missing I had found them in a bag with other parts needed for the installation. What upsets me the most is that they didn't even look in the bag because if they did they would have seen the screws. These guys are supposed to be professionals. I will never have them install anything on my car ever again! My time was wasted and my experience was horrible! read more

I am incredulous that Best Buy will not reimburse me for a faulty NEST Thermostat installation. When the A/C didn't work a couple days ago, I called my regular A/C tech and when he repaired it he said it was because the Geek Squad had incorrectly wired it. I had no idea it was the fault of the thermostat. The installation was done by a third party - Mastec. The first time the installer came out he didn't install all the pieces. A different tech came out and replaced the missing part. Because it was in the cold weather of January, I was using heat and it worked after the tech left. However, recently, when I switched to A/C, it didn't work. I had to call my regular A/C tech and he said the wiring was incorrect and he fixed it for $84. I think it only fair I be reimbursed for the installation and $84. There is more to the story which Mastec and Geek Squad know about, but I won't put the details here unless pressed because it is a serious charge. read more

I've been on hold 33 minutes so far and no response to my issue. Had a tv delivered on 12/17 of this year, had a tilt mount purchase incase the mount we had wouldn't work. Didn't need the new mount and were told that a credit would be applied and would take 3-5 days. Since its on the 11th day and nothing has been credited I thought I'd make a phone call and get it straightened out. Obviously I am completely wrong, I've been on hold for over 40 minutes now and really have heard enough Christmas music at this point. The unfortunate part of this issue, which should be very simple to correct put me in a position that I'll now have to go to the store in person to get this resolved.
