Ouch, this store has pretty bad ratings and reviews. Luckily the handful of times I have been to this particular Best Buy store have been for very specific items and I did not require any help. The staff members were especially friendly during my most recent visit to buy a phone charger. I walked in, was greeted by the loss prevention/door guy, and located the mobile accessories. After comparing prices and colors, I grabbed a rose gold charger and proceeded to the checkout line to make my purchase. In line there was no wait. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. My husband and I walked in to a purchase a tv for our new home. When looking at the TV'a NO ONE offered to help. There were several employees standing around chatting and laughing, as well as looking at their personal phone. We attempted to leave and come back 2 hours later to see if the costumer service would change and it did NOT. We finally approved the TV section counter where one employee was. MY HUSBAND had to speak to him first BEFORE the guy acknowledged him. Once he asked my husband what TV we wanted he proceeded to get on his personal phone and not respond. He looked at the wall where it was and said "oh we don't have it". The employee did not even attempt to see if the TV was in stock. I was wanting to get a Google Pixel and they spent awhile trying to track one down for me, both in store and online. It looks like I am unable to get the one I want, (a basic black 32gb pixel) but it's not Best Buy's fault. It appears they are out of stock even on the Google website too. Really? Would apple let the latest iPhone go out of stock? Again, not your guys' fault... just kind of stupid of Google. When companies hit that point when they are pretty much dominating their industry, a lot of them seem to think less and less about customer service because they figure that they have the market wrapped up. If one customer gets upset, it doesn't really matter because thousands and thousands of more people are pushing their way into their doors. I think this is where Best Buy is right now. I, myself, am guilty of being disappointed by Best Buy, but returning a couple of years later looking for a Christmas gift. When I entered the store, I saw several people wandering around wearing Best Buy blue, doing busy work. I went over to the phone area and asked the woman who was rearranging phones for help. She basically pointed at the whole row of phones and said "here is what we have". I apologized to her for disturbing her "work" and went over to the tablets. I got the same treatment over there. I had to pry information out of them, they didn't offer up any help or recommendations or anything. I feel so bad that I bought something. I really needed that gift, but I really feel dirty about giving them my money. I felt bad and disgusted for the rest of the day. This Best Buy can bite it! Walked in with my mother to buy her a laptop. She was ready to buy, folks! Walked to the laptop department and about 6 employees were standing around goofing with each other. As soon as we entered the actual area - all 6 split for departments unknown! No one asked us if we needed anything. Not even the departments next door and we were obviously looking around for assistance. Hello? Anyone? Waited about 5 minutes - got a basketfull of NADA. On the way out, disgusted as we were, I saw the manager at the front door, twiddling his thumbs. I asked him if he was the manager and when he said 'yes' I told him the story - Everyone split, yadda, yadda. His reply - "Well, if you had let me know, I could have helped you find something." Um. I thought I just did... My reply to the doofus, yes, I called you a doofus, was "I thought you might be concerned for future customers." His insincere reply, "Can I help you find something now?" NO. Worst store ever. I went into this store today to purchase my wife a Kindle. This is not the closest location to my house but you can only check status of items online and this store showed the kindle I wanted for my wife was in stock. When I arrived I waited for over twenty minutes and no one walked up to help me. I finally stopped two young men who had been chatting the entire time, even with a manger beside them and they didn't think to help me. I asked if one of them could and of course both were free. I asked for the kindle. He said well it shows in stock and then left me for about 20 more minutes as he walked around searching. Finally he came back to tell me it was a mistake that they had none. So he asked if I wanted to order one and have it shipped today. I asked him to please check before I purchased it, that it would in fact be delivered today. He did and said yes sir but I had to pay extra. No worries I responded. Let's do it. So they close at 6pm and now at 5:30pm, I get the notification it won't be delivered but I can drive across town and hope I make it to another store where they show they have one. Friday, sale rep said the next Tuesday deliver, (5 days) received a phone call on that following Monday afternoon late and they indicated they could not deliver on Tuesday and indicated that Friday, on Friday I took off of work and no show. We purchased a tv to be delivered. When we got it Friday evening we put the box in the garage. Busy Saturday. Sunday opened the box and although the box was in pretty good shape, the tv had a broken screen. Thinking Best Buy had good service we returned it that day. We were told they could do nothing for us and told us they were going to charge us an additional recycling fee. Corporate would do nothing for us. We were told we had to inspect it within 24 hours. I do like this Best Buy. It is very organized and everything is neatly stocked and in place. I have worked for Best Buy before so I know when they ask if you need help it isn't to bother you...they truly care. I was having issues with my pc when I first got here in TX. I am pretty savy myself when it comes to PC's so I knew what I needed. The employee working helped me pick what brand to buy and made sure I got everything I needed. Later in the day I ended up bringing some things back that I ended up not needing and customer service got me my refund in a timely manner....and in cash, so I didn't have to wait for my money to clear. Only con is that when I was looking for my brother in the store the employees were hitting on me...but I guess for some that could be a pro? read more

No one seems to know what they are doing and even worse, they just don't care or understand the meaning of customer service. Purchased a Sony receiver and the extended warranty from Best Buy #55. 1st time: Receiver stopped working, took it into the Geek Squad, they sent it off and three weeks later I picked it up. 2nd time: Receiver stopped working again, took it into the Geek Squad folks, they sent it off and two weeks later I picked it up and was told nothing was wrong with it? 3. Receiver quit working again right after I got it back and conveniently for Best Buy and their useless Geek Squad my extended warranty had lapsed. Sent the below email to what I thought was Best Buy customer service: I picked up my receiver on Friday 8.18.18 and was told nothing was wrong with it after being gone for almost 2 weeks? There was a note on the 'quality' checklist stating that I should check my cable and speaker connections, which I found to be very condescending! This is the second time I have taken this receiver in to be repaired for the same problem and now nothing was actually fixed! I specifically told the person that wrote up the order that the HDMI connections on the receiver were not working properly? Conveniently for Best Buy my extended warranty has now lapsed so now I am stuck with this lemon. If you're buying something not on the shelf post-COVID, Best Buy is a terrible place to do it. They've implemented a terrible system where you literally have to wait an hour to get someone to assist you. I've tried to ask employees who were roaming around unoccupied, but everyone always pointed me towards the front, where we had to "sign up" to get help. This is a Customer Service Review Only Purchased a new computer 10 days ago. Price at that time was $1,149.99 Had a 10% off any item coupon they had emailed for my birthday. Today I find out the computer price has been reduced to $999.99 Called for price match & they refused to transfer the 10% off coupon to the adjusted price. Would only refund the difference between my 10% off discounted price of $1034.99 & the new price of $999.99 (about $36) In my opinion they should have matched the new price of $999 THEN reapplied the coupon discount which would have made it $899. Because the coupon had already been "used" they would not honor it even though it was on the same transaction!! Additionally I bought 3 year Geek Squad protection for $323 which is now priced at $303 & they refused to credit the difference for that either. "Their system is not set up for that"! Of course not, why would they want to please their customers & do the right thing? If I purchased the computer today I would be paying $899.99 + $303.99 for Geek Squad protection. I would return it but of course my coupon is now used & won't work. LOW CLASS LIARS! I should have received a credit of over $150 but instead got a whopping $36 I have spent THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS of dollars at Best Buy since I am a business owner & have not gone a month without a Best Buy payment in years but no more. Maybe Fry's will appreciate my business!! Also I HAVE noticed the sorry attitudes the store personnel now display. Purchased a computer at the store on hulen was shipped to my house by the next day In the meantime realized they lied to us about the resolution, so went to return the next day after receiving it via UPS. It was to take 24 hours for their system to update, why do they make their problem my problem!! My husband and I have been loyal Best Buy customers for years, but that ended today. We purchased a high dollar tv stand and sound bar and paid for the tv stand delivery and set up. When the delivery was made, at 11:13 am on a Sunday morning, we were surprised to see one man and the tv stand had not been assembled. My husband had to help him get the box up the stairs. The tv stand assembly took exactly four (4) hours to complete and there was some cosmetic damages to it. After attempts were made to contact Best Buy and no return calls, I received an email and text message regarding a refund of what we believe to be our delivery and set up fee. After calling a number provided, I was told that the refund should be sufficient for the four (4) hours wasted on Sunday and the damages to the tv stand. Needless to say, we weren't happy with the way they handled the situation, so we have decided to sever all ties with Best Buy and by the way other reviews look, we're not alone. read more

They do not repair Apple hardware, are not allowed to repair Apple items per a contract ... but the Apple site says they're an authorized repair service. That's why we went there. Conversely, they can fix unusual smart watches and successfully did so for my husband. That's why we went to Best Buy first when my son's iPad had issues. In general, great tech support. The worst customer experience I have encountered in a long time. If they ever wonder why people shop online, come to this store and you can clearly see why. To begin the issue I have with this store, we came in to buy a dishwasher. The sales person could not find the item in the system, I found it online in Best Buy while I sat for half an hour waiting for him. He said free install, then charged us. When we pointed out the mistake, he said he never said that. After a manager got involved, they corrected the pricing. We bought the dishwasher and scheduled delivery. Or so we thought. Delivery day we call trying to get a better window from the 8 to 8. They have no clue about our order. Magic elves cancelled our order. I call the store at opening and am put on hold for 20 min. I hung up and drove to the store. Based on how long I waited on hold, I expected either no staff on the floor or a mobbed store. Shocking, it was neither. Bunch of staff hanging out. Less than a dozen people wandering the store. Found the manager, he didn't even apologize for the inability of his team to answer the phone. Got moved to the Pacific appliance team. They can't find it either. Wanted me to cancel and repurchase. Got my money back. You guys are a freaking joke. Learn how to manage your transactions and get some people who understand customers are why you have a job. read more

I still can't believe this happened. I purchased a Skyline Bed frame online from these guys, the bed was listed as available. Paid my $1400. After a month of waiting and not a sound from them I called. Was promised the bed will be shipped within a week. A week later called again. Was told the bed will be shipped shortly by " the third party manufacturer/shipper" a phone number of which apparently I may not get. Checked my order status online and saw changed to "cancelled". No phone call, no courtesy email to let me know, nothing! Oh, and the "Contact seller" button is now greyed out. SERIOUSLY?! I did not want to believe all the horrible reviews about this company but they turned out to be completely true. I could have gotten the bed some place else instead of having Best Buy hold on to my money for a month only to cancel my order without as much as an email to let me know. Went in the other day to purchase a tablet for my oldest granddaughter. The item I wanted had been featured in their sales circular. The representative at the door greeted us and asked if he could help. I showed him the item in the sales paper. He directed me to the area of the store I needed. In the time it took to walk from the door to the area with tablets the clerk in that area was there to direct me to my item, ask me if I had any questions about the item, offered addition assistance, and completed my purchase. It was awesome to complete the transaction so quickly as I was shopping with my two year old granddaughter. read more

Great customer service and clean store! This location does not have all of the signage as other locations; i.e. indicators of the different sections hanging from the ceiling. There's a guy who is at a stand by the door, I assume his job is to help people to their cars because that's all I saw him do besides standing there. But since I walked in, unsure of where to go, I asked this particular employee to direct me accordingly. I was in to buy a camera. The camera guy that helped me, wish I got his name, really knew his stuff. He was well informed and unbiased. He also didn't come off as a pushy sales guy, but that might have been because he knew I was decided on the product I was in to purchase. He answered my other questions and inquiries well, before he rang me up. The managers were nice and seemed to let their employees take the reigns with their expertise. Another employee was honest in his little knowledge pertaining to cameras, and thus called over the guy mentioned above. Tips: 1. Always do your research before coming into the store. You always want to make unbiased informed decisions. 2. Best Buy will price match (but not everything; I'm sure it's situation-dependent) 3. Best to go during down times, since they don't normally overstaff during peak times. (You won't have anyone to open display cases or to get the product you want from the back or what not if they're all busy with one customer each.) 4. If you have items/products in mind that you want to check out, call ahead to the store to make sure they have each model you want to play around with before making a purchase decision. Justyn wen out of his way with helping us select a TV & trying to help us out with a phone while all the mobile people were busy. Well this is a Best Buy. It has change in the years from the time my husband worked at the one in grapevine but the concept is the same, if you are in the market for an electronic, need to physically look at your options before buying one, get some nearby generally unbiased questions answered before you purchase one this is a ok place to start. Usually here I'm left alone while i do my general look thru my options, which is what I prefer, and employees have been nice, easy to find & helpful when I need it. This location is usually busier than others I've been too so keep that in mind when going during peak times. I've not used geek squad here so i can't vouch for it. I really can't go past 3 stars cause a lot of times I can find better prices elsewhere, and usually the one area they seemed understaffed is the general check out area ... But now it seems like they have more mini checkouts in the various departments that I don't remember them having before, or they were just starting at the end of my husbands & his friends time there. read more
