On a Sunday my husband and I stopped at this Best Buy to make a quick purchase. Upon walking in an associate greeted us and asked how he could help. We told him what we were looking for and he pointed us into the exact location. I needed an essential cell phone accessory and thankfully they had what I needed. If I have time to order things online I can usually purchase items for cheaper than here but if I have an immediate need for a small electronic item this is typically my go to store. I just damaged my Chromebook and needed a new one at the Macon store. Gabe helped me choose a new one and it took two trips to find one that suited me best and he helped me both times. After we left the store my boyfriend and I discussed how knowledgeable he was about all of the electronics and how friendly and polite he was. The last couple of times I went to purchase something at Best Buy I was treated very poorly and rudely. I needed help buying a printer and the guy jumped all over me for asking too many questions and trying to find the specific printer for my specific needs. I thought that's what they were there for. When I went to buy my laptop I had a woman waiting on me and it was like she was yelling at me the whole time. I swear her voice carried throughout the whole store and she was also rude and very unwilling to help me in a nice way. Customer service in general here in the USA has gotten very bad, I feel like I'm living back in a third world country. It's really sad. I agree with the reviews the customer service at this store is horrendous. I purchased a tv to include mount, deliver, and installation. They arrived without the mount and stated they could leave the TV and come back to install in 2 weeks. I refused the order as this defeated the whole purpose of the purchase. It's been 4 days and I still cannot get the ordered cancelled. Every time I speak to someone they say they cancelled it, but never do. I contact corporate support and they state they cannot cancel it the store has to as they left the order status in transit which prevents cancellation. If you have another option I would highly recommend using it. If there are any issues with your order you will be screwed. There is not a way to talk to the store directly. You call the store number and it routes you to a corporate call center who cannot do anything to support you. read more

He even appeared BEFORE my appointment time to alert me that he may be running a little behind due to assisting the customer before me..totally acceptable and polite. Ahbner listened carefully to my issue with my laptop and was able to resolve the problem and inform me of known issues and how to safeguard my security from internet threats. He was very professional and attentive. The greeters at the entrance to Best Buy were rude at best, however, Ahbner's graciousness and willingness to help were the highlight of the visit. I went to Best Best Buy in Macon today to BUY a computer, not just look around. After waiting in the computer area for 20 minutes for someone to help me, I left. There seemed to be only one employee in that department, and he was laser focused on a woman who seemed to be totally lost and needing tons of help. When I walked by them a few times, she looked in my direction but he never looked at me. Not wanting to be a Karen, I wandered around, looking at the computers, waiting and hoping that he'd at least acknowledge that I was there and he'd be with me as soon as he finished with her ... But no. So I left. On my way out, a guy at the front door said, "How are you?" I said, "Not good. Just wasted 20 minutes waiting for help to buy a computer." I was asking for help on printer/ink. Manager or Supervisor was a rude even he wore a baggy blue jeans and cotton shirt as for his position. His snacks was on his podium with an opened bowl. I asked him for his name since he doesn't have his label name on him. He replied that his name is "X". He told me "Don't put your hands on any associate in this building". I just patted lightly on his shoulder to get attention. He was already intimated after saw me coming his way. If I could give my experience here 0 stars I would! I ordered an open box laptop in excellent condition from them. Before making the order I called to confirm that the manufacturers warranty and return policy was the same as a new laptop. I was told it was. On Best Buy's website an item listed in excellent open Box condition means that it will include all of the original accessories except possibly the owners manual. My husband and I drove 2 hours from Columbus to Macon so we could get this laptop for our daughter before she had to go back to college. Upon arriving to the store a group of workers standing at the front door after laughing at their own jokes pointed me to the direction of the in store pickup line. When the item was brought to me it did not have the charger in the box. The associate took it to Jake, one of the managers to find out what could be done to rectify the situation. The only solution he could offer was putting it back into the system as not in excellent condition and letting the system reset the price and then we could repurchase it. This happened at 6:30 pm so he told us that it would probably not update before they closed for the night. He never offered to give us a charger to go with it even though there were some in the store and this was 100% their mess up for not listing the laptop appropriately on the Best Buy site as it should have never been listed as excellent condition. He even asked to see my emails that they sent me saying it should have told me it was missing the charger. The emails did not say it either! So here I am after doing my homework before driving 2 hours away to get my daughter a laptop she needs only to drive back empty handed with no solution or help from the store for their screw up. I am beyond upset and frustrated!! Serious lack of professionalism or helpfulness. Would never recommend! read more

No show.Second time frame appointment came and went, no show, and third no show. Tried calling, answered by machine, on 7th call, finally a person who didn't speak English that well...Last call to someone with a strong accent, now my appointment has to rescheduled which means another whole day waiting for a delivery. What a s..t show this store is. My elderly friend bought a Whirlpool Washing machine on Dec 30th. It was wet when it arrived and the team ran it To get rid of any dirty water! They failed to level it on her floor and left. It vibrated all over her floor so I contacted BB and got some service in India who gave me a confirmation number pertaining to a technician visit and they'd phone before they came. Nothing happened. I then rang Whirlpool who needed an email from BB to confirm her purchase and give permission to send a tech. So my friend goes to BB waits and waits to get served and came away without the help she needed! She then phoned BB who agreed they'd let her have another machine. It's supposed to be there Sunday so let's see what they do. I'm not holding my breath it will be there. The staff are rude to the elderly and others no doubt, unhelpful and do not know what they are selling. The receipt you get for your machine is not guaranteed by Whirlpool. BB control who repairs your machines. Do not buy here go to Lowes or Home Depot. You stand a better chance of getting service from them. read more

I went to Best buy to buy a cellphone. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and proceeded to the phone department. Within 2 minutes I was approached by a salesperson and he introduced himself and asked if I needed help. Not only did he ask probing questions on what I wanted in a cellphone, but he recomended a few to choose from and the warranty and insurance plan. I'm a premier silver customer with Best Buy. I purchased a Mophie battery powered phone cover for my iPhone on June 8 for Father's Day. I called the Warner Robins store to see if I could take it back and even told them the date (two days past warranty) and the girl said, "Sure just come in and we will take care of it." Well, I did and they said that the case on the phone appeared to have physical damage and that I was responsible for it. Mind you, I've spent over $8500 at that store over the last year and I was very upset that although the manager had the authority to say we will take it anyway and help me to continue to be a happy customer, she chose the road of losing a customer. Well, I called customer service on the phone and they suggested I go to another Best Buy and they should turn it in. I called the Macon store and they very happily honored my request.
