After such horrible service at Home Depot, I came here and lucked up and got a patient worker name Kevin who pondered on how to fix my shelf. He got me a L bracket and some screws and told me if it did not work to take back to any location. I worked on the shelf for a minute because I actually thought some brackets from another item I had would work since it had a level end but it didn't. Kevin was super amazing and wanted to know if things worked out. It did. I however had to take back his bracket and screws to the other closest location to get it right. Thanks so much Kevin. Waited 3 months for a sliding glass door to be installed that originally was supposed to take a few weeks. The installation cost was nearly $1000 over the original quote. This was a door that cost $1271 the final total was $2900. Original company that was to do the install was fired by Lowes. Was then told by installation services that I would be compensated for the delays. Door finally installed today (8.25.2025). Contacted installation services per their instructions, was offered a $100 gift card--insulting, offering me money to spend at the store that I will never shop at again. Installers left no paperwork, no receipt, warranty information--nothing. We can't get the door clean--there are tape marks and a haze on the glass. read more

It's a standard home improvement store. Standard prices. Standard selection. However I can usually find someone to assist me or answer any questions quicker and easier than at the other orange home improvement store. The only issue I've ever had at Lowe's is with an online promotion that this local store seems to not honor. They were giving away a free head lamp. I received my confirmation email which advised the date and time frame to pick it up. However I got to the store the customer service rep told me she didn't know what I was talking about. I showed her the email and she referred me to someone else who advised they didn't get any. Not sure why I was emailed twice to remind me to go pick it up on the said date and time. I was quite perturbed that I wasted my time and gas going there. read more

Don't waste a trip to these clowns. They won't bring out treated firring strips be ause there are 6 in the shelf, but bent and warped and cracked. what a waste. Even I'm embarassed for these people. Very low customer service. The "lumber guys" just want to sit aroumd talking. Geniuses. read more

i bought an on-line product which they were supposed to bring to the car. I arrived and the app said it was in a lock box Inside. well the whole point of arranging curbside pickup was because I'm handicapped. I tried to call into the store, but it turned out the local number went to a call center somewhere else. after many attempts, I had to leave and find a family member who could go into the store for me. lowes did not keep its promise read more

The store is a s good as any other in what they offer but service here is one of the worst. This is my go to Lowe's because its pretty close to me, but boy I wish it wasn't even there so I would force myself to go to the one on Zebulon.Don't get me wrong, some employees are great, but others oh boy how they have driven me crazy sometimes. One example, I went in the store to get some wire rope for a project. Its in aisle with the rest of the rope and chains. I press the button for assistance and not too long later an associate comes to assist me in cutting the wire rope. He arrives and tells me that their cutter is out of order. Ok, I understand that, but the wire I require can be cut with some durable scissors. You mean to tell me there is no cutting pliers or heavy duty scissors in the entire store of lowe's that can cut this wire?!? He left, and I went to the tool section and grabbed some pliers that aren't packaging and cut the wire in a split second. A little kid could've cut the wire. Anyways,,,, it's a little of that if you go there. Cashiers are always fine, loaders are usually available to assist you, its just those few employees (I think some are managers) that just make it unbearable. read more

We haven't had a good experience at this Lowes. We went in yesterday to get a specific kind of light fixture, with the item number so that they could retrieve it easily. We asked for some help, and the lady told us that they had 171 in stock! We thought that it would be an easy visit, but none of the employees could figure out where they put the lights. All 171 of them. They spent about 35 minutes looking for it, and all 5 of the employees handed the job off to someone else after trying to find it. Finally a guy came at the end to apologize and help us find another location with the item, but it took him 20 minutes to call the other store. The other store wouldn't answer the calls and hung up multiple times. We had spent a total of almost an hour at the store and left empty handed. read more

What a great experience. I called ahead to the garden center to find out if they had pine straw, asked for directions to the store because we were coming from Warner Robins (they were out). Can't remember the last that answered, but she was so friendly and funny. We arrived, were greeted by everyone and the nice guy who helped us get the pine straw was very friendly and happy. It was such a delight and made my day! I love going to places and seeing happy employees. Thank you Lowes of Macon for being so wonderful! Great customer service should always be recognized. read more
