My customer service was with Caleb and he was really nice and patient. We were replacing my 91 year old Mom's 30 year old TV with a new smart TV. He helped us upgrade her to a larger screen while respecting her budget. Unfortunately an opportunity was missed to make this a perfect experience because he should have known to advise us to get an HDMI cable based on all of the information I offered about her old box TV, our type of service, and my lack of tech skills. I was able to connect the TV to Wifi but she only wants what she knows and that's regular U-Verse viewing with her familiar universal remote. In his defense, 2 hours on the phone with ATT didn't solve the problem and a tech was scheduled. Two minutes on google AI advised me to get an HDMI cable and explained the reasons. So I can't resist joking that that's a $6 sale they will never get back. Off to Walmart. read more

Poor customer service. I was informed by the manager today that they no longer except phone calls in the store. He said the phone was in the office and no one is never in the office. I tried calling and the call was sent to the call center. They tried calling the store directly and could not get a response either. He sat up a call back and said it would be returned in two hours. It has been 8 hours with no call back. Apparently they do not communicate with the call center either. I have been a Best Buy customer 15+ years. Like so many others Walmart and Amazon will get my business. They are not busy at all in the store. They will not be missed. read more

I recently visited Best Buy in McDonough, Ga. to get help with checking the status and expiration of my warranty, and unfortunately, my experience with the customer service representative, GiGi, was very disappointing. I explained that I needed assistance accessing my warranty information and that I was unsure how to navigate the app to find it. Instead of offering guidance or walking me through the process, she repeatedly told me to "try again" in the app without providing any real help. I made it clear that I did not know how to locate the information on my own, but she did not take the time to assist me or offer an alternative solution. She also did not attempt to find another associate who might have been able to help. Overall, I felt dismissed and unsupported during the interaction. Customer service should involve patience and a willingness to help customers resolve their concerns, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the level of service I received. read more

Horrible customer service from geek squad went there for a battery replacement for phone during the replacement they broke my screen. They refused to fix the screen unless I spent 279 dollars on the screen. Then they wouldn't change the battery unless I bought a new screen. When I tried to talk to the manager they told me the same thing and basically blamed me for dropping my phone. When it wasn't like that when I brought it in. When the box was opened and the headphones were going to be used, we noticed that a piece of the volume control was detached. I went in to exchange them for a working pair and was directed to contact the manufacturer. Go to Target, which is right across the street. I brought a computer from here and I had an issue getting into the computer after an update with windows. I called the call service and they said they could not help me via the phone and I was told to bring my computer in the store. So I brought my computer in the store and they said they could not help me. So I asked why did they tell me to bring my computer in if they knew they could not fix it and I live 45 minutes away, the young man stated they tell everyone to bring in the computer. I purchase a open box laptop which was $1,673.99 then the next morning the new one was on sale for $1,630.99 and open box was from $1,516.96 when I called the store they would not give me credit for the new open box price all she would do it credit me the new price purchase of $1,630.99 which was less than what I paid for a open box. which was only 46.00 credit which I it should be the open price. Came here to buy some car speakers and a phone mount. I normally buy from Amazon but figured I would get it locally with a price match. Naturally the pair of speakers are on a top shelf which requires a latter to reach. Being the sign abiding customer I am, I don't grab one of the ladders myself cause the sticker says it is for employee use only (liability, I get it). So I ask an employee for help and he says he's busy helping other customers (I didn't see any but okay). He then says he'll call someone else over to help me. I hear him do it and no one came. I patiently wait for over 25 minutes and still no help. He then tells me he's helping like three different customers at once but apparently the other employees in the store were too busy to help. So now I'll just go home and buy them from Amazon like I should have from the beginning. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before this place ends up like Circuit City. If your prices are going to be higher than other retailers, you could at least have decent customer service. read more

Associates Ray and Jamal displayed exemplary customer service skills. Each associate took the time to actively listen to me try to articulate my concerns regarding Microsoft applications. Jamal worked me through setting up google docs. I must mention, the young lady I initially spoke with did not give me eye contact and spoke as if her time was too important to address any problem or concerns that I may have, only repeating the cost for her to assist me or the price of Windows products. I am a novice when it comes to computers but talking to her as a member of the " Greek Squad" should have been a positive experience but it wasn't! This review is for Bestbuy.com but I had to choose McDonough before I ordered, so I am not really sure who is to blame. Do not buy an appliance to be delivered and installed. Installers are not "allowed " to do anything that requires slight problem solving. They also lie. They reported that our gas line to our dryer was not up to code and was outdated. We just had all of that checked 3 years ago by the gas company and it was fine. Additionally, I had to go the Lowes to get what I needed for the installation because even though I ordered what I was supposed to order it didn't include a connector that would work. Now I had to reschedule installation and they cannot come for 4 days. I will be requesting refunds for the unneeded parts and for installation. Don't bother with the 1-800 number. I was on hold twice. The first time they cut me off before I even talked to a person. The 2nd time I held for 1 hour before selecting for them to return my call. They returned the call 4 minutes later, so it would seem you need to select that option. read more

I have to recommend a young man by the name AJ. He is very knowledgeable in the cell phone area. I am sure he could work in any department the same way. He took his time with me and made sure all of my devices were synced and working properly. I am starting a business and this was a big deal. He explained what he was doing, at the same time as correcting an issue I had with my browser. I am a senior and this has been the best associate I have had in Best Buy. I have been a customer for a very long time visiting stores from the North to the South. He should be commended for his patience at such a young age. I will buy from him again. read more

I went to this location to purchase a new car stereo. Upon arrival, I was not assisted and had to wait 20 minutes for an associate to help me and answer my questions (mind you, this was on a VERY slow day.I was one of about 3 other customers there). I also didn't end up purchasing the stereo in store because apparently their deals online are more worthwhile. One would think that the opposite would be true but oh well. The best part of my experience was with the man who installed my stereo. He did his job in a timely fashion and when the stereo didn't work, he cancelled his later appointment in order to get me one of the same price. That made up for the service in-store for me. read more

What kind of store makes you fix someone else's mistake....I go to the store, I purchase a gaming laptop from the store. The laptop wasn't in stock, so they shipped it. Fine, no problem.. Best Buy shipped the wrong laptop. I take wrong laptop back to the same store I ordered it from, and they won't take it back. I have to call a number ( a best buy number ) and wait for someone to contact me within 48 hours to tell me what to do next!!!! WTH???? Management..no help at all. I stood at the counter for 20 mins on hold for Best Buy's customer service rep to pickup and hang up.... Manager "Allen" calls the same number to just put the rep on the phone with me to just tell that I need to make sure and leave the store with my laptop and someone would contact me within 48 hrs to tell me what my next step would be... Oh the laptop they sent me was approx. $500 cheaper than the one I purchased... thanks Best Buy....never again. So yesterday was my anniversary... but the day before I remembered one other gift a Samsung watch that had been mentioned by my wife in passing that made me jump up and run out. So I get to Best Buy and to the Samsung section only to not be greeted by the two employees (who were wearing Samsung shirt, keep reading I get to the Best Buy employees). I stand for almost 10 minutes before I walk and stand next to them. Shakimbra (Samsung employee) can I help you? I go on to state I'm looking for a Samsung watch. She says "what do you want it to do", "I reply it's not for me it's a gift, she wants to talk aloud on the phone and could you tell me the difference in the two". Her response is " I can't it's copyrighted information". what!? So she continued by saying one is more fitness one is a watch.. ooookay. So I purchase the Samsung fit gear and I bring it home thinking I've done something only to find out.. it DOESN'T allow her to take calls without her Bluetooth. EPIC FAIL! So anniversary day I get up and I take this watch back and thankfully Shakimbra isn't there. Naqueta is (another Samsung shirt wearer who I found out didn't work at this location) she was informative and helpful. The Samsung classic watch that I decided I wanted that had a carrier was not available at the store. So she goes to Kaylee or Kaylen (the 1st Best Buy employee) and tells her I'll take the sport one & it's in stock. She says okay and that's where the problem begins.. because that wasn't her home store she couldn't pull it. Kaylee sits for a few, took a call, was on the computer and then went on to help a customer while I waited 25+ minutes. So I Naqueta apologized for my having to wait and let me know she was waiting because it's not her home store and didn't have keys to get it and that she'd bring it to the register for me. That was fine, I figured I'd start the exchange process. Get to the register and I'm greeted by "Ant" (which I later found out was short for Antonio). Ant was kind and knowledgeable and very helpful. After some time goes by he's looking like who's bringing it, I tell him and he doesn't know her. He (I follow) goes to try and find the watch because Kaylee is telling the lady how to get over on the system by waiting almost until her year manufactures warranty is out and return it for a new phone (that's STEALING) .. She ignores him, he gets the keys, so now he and Naqueta are looking in drawers for it while Kaylee is STILL talking. To no avail.. no watch. I say to Kaylee (no name tag) excuse me ma'am.. "You'll have to wait I'm helping her", so time is still ticking away, while I continue to wait. Finally she's done and walks right to a gray cage and gets it (no time)! She walks back to the phone area to check me out I explain I've started at the front yada yada.. She walks pass the girl who's been helping me and to the wrong register..(which is when I asked her, her name). Then hands it over to Ant. It makes ZERO sense myself, Ant, or Naqueta should have had to go through all of that. It's a shame that you all have guest waiting unreasonable amounts of time and that your team members would treat another team member or visiting employee that way. Kaylee had a poor attitude and a broken moral compass. It burns my biscuits to see people being treated badly by co-workers, it's unacceptable. If I could've found the watch anywhere else close I would have purchased elsewhere. I don't have ANY plans on visiting this location again, it just sucks that this is my neighborhood store. This morning I was greeted at the entrance by a perfectly nice guy who directed me to the back where the usb adapters are located, which is what I was shopping for. I went up to some of the employees in that department and asked where I could find the adapter and the bald headed female employee didn't understand me so I pulled my facemask down and repeated myself and she said, I'll help you when you have your mask on!" She said it 3 times at least in an aggressive manner. I really wanted to bust her in the mouth. She acted like and looked like a psycho. I told her to just point me in the right direction and I'll find it myself and she points to an area they weren't even close to. A guy with red hair and glasses was cool and helped me out. Your company needs to educate some of your employees on how to treat customers, regardless of us wearing masks or not. I bought a item yesterday from this Best Buy the item did not work so I returned it for a full refund. I had paid with my credit card so I was told that the refund would be applied back to my credit card account. I returned the item at 10am it's now 3pm and I still don't have my refund. We spoke with Ebony in electronics and she explained everything we needed to know. We went to buy initially a modem and router combined device and she told us our best setup. She is very friendly, professional and enthusiastic about helping customers. Everyone seemed to go to her for answers. She is so helpful and will give you the best advice to know what best device you need for your situation. Definitely will go back to her again next time for great technical advice! read more
