I was at the mentor store on 12-01-16 I went to buy a Samsung galaxy 8A tablet, price matching to Walmart $149 salesman was ringing me out over came some other dude and began to look up on his phone the tablet and told me he could not find it for that price it was $165 he could not price match any lower even after I showed him the Walmart site on my phone with the $149 price, I was told he had to bring it up I asked him to call down the street to Walmart he said he could not do that. Needless to say his mouth continued until I told him to back off and I told him they lost this sale and all my future sales. I went to wally world in mentor and purchased my tablet for the $149 as advertised!!!!! Bust Buy in Mentor Ohio doesn't care about its customers or the management of their store. The store phone message said they were open toady at 11:00am. I wanted to buy my daughter a Wii-U and showed up early, just to find out that they had opened earlier in the morning and were sold out. Just left Best Buy very unhappy. I was looking for a tablet for a gift for Christmas, I found what I was currently looking for asked an associate for help only for him to barely look for the product and tell me they was out of stock. I was fine with that until walking out the door I seen a table display full of the tablet brand I was looking for I mean the EXACT one! It seems to me they employees only get paid to goof around and gossip instead of providing good service to a buying customer. BEST BUY RIIPS PEOPLE OFF!!!. I WILL NEVER AGAIN, EVER SHOP at Best Buy In Mentor!!!. I bought a car stereo from them in December. They ASKED ME if I wanted to have it attached to my steering column, so that I could control the volume from it and I said that I did. At that time, the standard installation cost was $55.24. It is marked on my receipt. When I go there, they want to add on ADDITIONAL COSTS, to hook up my car stereo. I went in there, just to have THEM INSTALL IT and then THEY WANT TO ADD, ADDITIONAL CHARGES ON AFTER THIS?????. A wire harness for my vehicle, elsewhere was LESS than what they wanted to charge me. They wanted to charge me, $60.00, FOR THAT!!!!!. Other places like "Amazon" are selling it for LESS THAN THAT and FOR THE SAME TYPE OF VEHICLE!!!!. The cost of the car stereo that I bought was $109.99. Then you are going to charge me for a wire harness, fees for "shop fee", cost of labor and by the time, it was all done, over $200.00 on top of what I had paid for the car stereo that was LESS then, them installing it. Another thing, as well. They "supposedly" didn't have the parts to install the car stereo. I was going to drop my vehicle off and then come back later, when they called and had it ready. How SUDDENLY, when I threatened to cancel the installation because of this, did they SUDDENLY, HAVE IT?......WOW!!!. After this I had talked with the manager and explained my situation and that was NO HELP, EITHER!!!. I found out through other people who have taken their vehicles in, to have car stereos, that this was done, to them, as well. HOW ROTTEN OF A PLACE, LIKE, BEST BUY, TO RIP PEOPLE!!!!!. I purchased a refrigerator at this Store. I don't want the ice maker connected. My old refrigerator has a water dispenser that the water source is shut off from. If the water lever is pressed NO WATER IS DISPENSED because the water is SHUT OFF to the fridge. The delivery install crew stated" oh we can't disconnect the old tubing to your fridge" They were informed that the water supply is shut off. Just take a pair of scissors and cut. The crew stated its our policy,we won't do that. They took my new fridge to my garage left my old one in the middle of my kitchen. Won't be back today even after the scary plastic tube is removed. Will have to re-schedule yet again for installation. The sales representative Dru only informed me that the crew won't connect a new fridge to a plastic tube. NOT that I had to disconnect the old one that doesn't have water running to it. UNBELIEVABLE!! FANTASTIC COMMUNICATION! The employees need to learn the art of customer service, service recovery and customer retention. But they sure know the "policy" on what work they can't perform. Top notch A-1 service right there! If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Can we say racially profiled yep, that happened to me today. It's a slap in the face to walk in a store to use a app such as #shopkicks (which gives you points for just walking in the store) and walk back out and be accused of stealing. I was stopped by the police saying that I stole headphones of all things. So I let the officer know what I had walked in the store for and gladly let him checked my car and my belongings no headphones in site. Oh by the way while I was in the store I had my hands on my phone the entire time, which was less than a min so I must be pretty good to have stole some headphones while doing so. What truly bothers me is the fact that I've seen people who are not of my ethnicity steal out of this store and getaway with no lost prevention in site guess they were to busy tailing the wrong group type. I'll never shop or step foot at Best Buy again. read more

2016_12_12: Went to this Best Buy to purchase a microwave oven and a printer. The printer was listed in stock. The store parking lot was nearly empty, the store was not clearly busy, and the store was crawling with blue shirts. Do you think I could get any of them to help me find the printer that was allegedly in stock? After wasting twenty minutes waiting for someone, ANYONE, to offer to help, I left without purchasing anything. Complained to corporate(?), waited 15 minutes to get someone to answer who then got a hold of the store manager 'Chris' who lamely claimed they were busy in the morning (I was there late in afternoon). He then stated they were busy in the afternoon too, I was there, they weren't. He threw some shade about, "well, IF that happened...we are sorry" Sorry buddy, but you just left several hundred dollars on the table. Generally, buying at BEST Buy is an ordeal, and some days...it's a nightmare. I will happily take my money elsewhere! Perhaps they will value me as a customer. read more

I just have to put this out there to warn everyone. I thought someone had stole my debit card information bc I have an unauthorized charge on my account for $42.69 from BEST BUY IN RICHFIELD, MN. I freaked out and blocked card and then asked my husband if he had made the purchase. He did not so I closed the card. We then decided to google where the debit took place and got the # to the store. Turns out this is there main headquarters and the girl on the phone knew what the charge was right away. She said it was our yearly renewal of Kaspersky Anti Virus. We did purchase the anti virus however NEVER signed up saying they can renew it after a year is up. Best buy just took they money right out of our account with no notification. We kindly asked them for a refund but they r refusing bc they said when we purchased it with our debit card we were told about it. We were NOT and I know it's only 42 dollars but it's the principal. I am sure they are doing this to a lot of people. I just thought everyone should know what scammers they r. I will NOT be EVER shopping there again:( read more
