I guess at this location, sarcasm comes free with every purchase. We've spent thousands at Best Buy over the years and usually have great experiences, just apparently not at the Rancho location. We came in needing a small replacement part that was missing from a sound bar we purchased as part of a $1,500 order. They didn't have it in stock, so we had to order it, annoying, but not the end of the world. What was frustrating was the attitude from the salesperson helping us. First, he pushed the more expensive option available, then seemed personally offended when we noticed there was a cheaper one on sale. Considering we were replacing a missing part from a brand-new purchase, you'd think there'd be at least a little understanding. The sarcasm kept going every time my husband asked a question, to the point where I had to walk away before I matched the energy. Honestly, if helping customers order a small part ruins your whole day, maybe it's time for a break and a Snickers bar. Customer service probably isn't the best fit if doing your job feels like such an inconvenience. So if you need a TV or any type of major electronics, I would say skip the Rancho Cucamonga store. Best Buy in Rancho Cucamonga is on the smaller side compared to some other locations I've visited, but I actually see that as a plus. It feels more compact and manageable, which makes finding what I need quicker and less overwhelming. There always seem to be plenty of employees available, and I've never had issues whether I'm casually browsing or picking up an online order. The items I've needed have consistently been in stock, which saves me from having to drive elsewhere. I'd prefer her say she doesn't know then to lie. Last week, she came out after waiting outside for over an hour and said there was no Pokemon in stock. I honestly love that they offer Apple products and have them in stock, ready to be picked up as quickly as same day. I bought a MacBook here a couple years ago online, picked it up same day. I've been on the lookout for an iPad since I need one for playing in the worship band at church. I just happened to check their website today and they had a 9th generation on sale--$130 off. Sold! I made the purchase online for pickup at the store next day. Well, to my surprise, with text notifications enabled, they had the order ready in 5 minutes, so I was actually able to pick it up same day! I called yesterday and they "confirmed" they had the screensaver in stock for my phone. I had purchased the lifetime guarantee for replacement screens a couple years back. So, I went to the Rancho Cucamonga Best Buy and they tell me not only do they NOT have the screensaver in stock, they NO longer even carry it! Wtf?? They don't give a rats ass that they confirmed availability just the day before or that they can't ultimately help me. They won't refund the original price of the warranty, that I cannot use. They told me to contact "Zagg" who can possibly help me. I called Zagg, and they charge $12 for a new screen and labor. So, the warranty I purchased was a complete waste of money. Not happy! I would be very careful buying anything from Best Buy. I bought a MacBook Pro with Geek Squad coverage. I took my PC to be converted. I got home and realized the Mac environment didn't work so well with my PC software and I just didn't have the time to figure out how to work in the MAC environment when I knew how to move quickly using PC. I took it back to return. The manager, Juan, was professional (when others were not so much). I felt badly having to return it (it wasn't used and in perfect condition. They balked at refunding the warranty saying they spent hrs (pushing an electronic button?!) on converting it. They called corporate. Absolutely no help, waste of time. I was livid! Fortunately, for Best Buy, they have an excellent manager in Juan, because he went out of his way to make things right despite corporate! At least someone knows the value of keeping customers. I can't say I'm pleased with either Company, Best Buy or Geek Squad, their policies are nebulous and they are quick to sell and upsell, but not so good at making terms clear before buying or caring whether they get repeat business. However, I can say this Best Buy location does have a manager who cares about customer satisfaction and is on the ball! And Danny at the Geek Squad desk is a kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Best Buy is lucky to have personnel like these two gentlemen. Still, corporate seems to have a disconnect. They promote parking for "fuel efficient" but not handicap! And no one is parking in the space WOKELY reserved for their special "fuel efficient" vehicles! Best Buy needs to improve itself drastically at the corporate level! Acer - Aspire Desktop- Intel Celeron N4505 - I can't believe they even sell a computer this slow at BestBuy, much less charge for it. Even if it was a free, I still don't think I could recommend it. I purchased this for my father who is 70+ years old and even he was annoyed at how slow it was. He said that his 10 year old computer that I replaced this with was faster. I contacted BestBuy shortly after the 2 week return window closed and was told that I could trade it in but the value was only $50. I asked for a recommendation to buy more RAM and Crucial 8GB was recommended. I purchased the 8GB from an online competitor (Amazon) which was less than half the cost at BestBuy only to discover that this computer has two slots of 4GB of RAM so I have to replace both of the 4GB to get the maximum 16GB that it allows, which costs almost as much as the price of the original computer. This computer was a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself and buy something better. I see now they've even hiked the price on this dump by more than $100 in less than 2 months. read more

I didn't expect this poor level of service, it's all started when i order a graphic card online with a curbside pickup, after I received a notification that my order is ready for pickup. I went the next day to pickup and every time i try to sign up for curbside pickup i got the message the location is closed and this was around 11:00 AM, so i went inside the store to pickup my order, they kept me waiting for almost 40 minutes because they can't find my Order at the end of the 40 minute waiting time, the customer service agent came up with a solution for my case, that i need to buy it again and they will ship it to me, and I end up paying more money and pay for the order twice because I didn't want to disappoint my child , and they refund the payment for my first order after 5 days. From a business with a size of Best Buy this is Shocking. Update: This the response i got from them: Hi, Hany, I looked into your order. I wasn't able to determine why the store wasn't able to locate your order, but I was able to confirm that your refund was processed. Are you seeing this reflected back onto your card? Went there to pick up a new modem/router for the house. The first sales person knew nothing but was super confident to try and sell me just a modem saying I did not need a router and tried to sell me the most expensive modem they had. The next sales person tried to sell me the right thing but insisted I get a $500 version although I told him I didn't need the features it had and I wasn't doing any gaming. A recent distressing experience I had with the staff and the active evening manager, Jordan, at the Rancho Cucamonga store located at 12260 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739. My daughter was researching a washer and dryer for her home. I recommended going to Pacific Sales or BestBuy since I purchase most of my electronics items and appliances for my home and rental homes from either store. If you look at my account, you will see that I am a loyal customer with hundreds of items I have purchased over the years. I recently remodeled my entire kitchen and bought all the appliances from Pacific Sales, and this was due to the fantastic warranties, price matching, and, mostly, customer service. My daughter visited the Rancho Cucamonga store this evening to research a washer and dryer. She found the washer and dryer she wanted, and I was about to purchase them for her as a gift for graphic work she did for one of my clients. She was working with two associates and was ready to place the order. I was on the phone via live video when they said it was no problem and that they would set the purchase up and send me a text link to fulfill it. However, during the transaction, the associates unexpectedly mentioned a delivery charge. This surprised me, as in my 3 years of being a total tech support member, this is the first time I have encountered such a charge, especially considering I had a complete delivery of kitchen appliances less than 2-years ago. The associates became agitated and condescending, stating, "Well, this is how it is." They called the store manager, Jordan, who was not present then. My daughter explained the situation to him, and he mentioned the membership had changed the services, and an email went out. I did not see the email, and my daughter informed him of the situation. After I got off the phone, he told my daughter, "Have your dad come into the store right now, and I can teach him how to read his emails and find the message." My daughter informed him I was 45 minutes away and lived in Chino Hills; he said, "Oh, my parents also live in Chino Hills so that he can quickly come in. now." And he said, well, " Have him come in now so I can show him." My daughter informed him that I was aware of reading my emails, and he said, "I doubt he is reading his emails." He continued to inform my daughter condescendingly, "I see he has been a total tech member for years and has benefited from many services and discounts over the years, so he must like the service, but I can cancel him tonight if he wants to stop receiving the benefits." This was never a point of contention, and using this as a constraint to purchase is not an acceptable manner of conducting business. I am so disheartened by how my daughter was mistreated. At the end of the day, a delivery charge will not break BestBuy or me. Regardless, in my specialty of business, consulting clients for the past 25 years, the concept of overseeing customer service is that a client or customer should not be made to feel less of a person for something so minuscule. My daughter is educated and willing to spend her money at BestBuy and other competitors, but having this type of low-class service and demeaning conduct is unacceptable. I share this information not for retaliation but hope there is some training for the store and upper management on how to service customers and to prevent the store from defaulting to the same damaging and condescending attitude downstream. Horrible Service and Lies. I paid in full for a iMac M4 computer and an Apple Care plan for it on Dec. 10. Total was $1390. I was told by salesman Ahmad that it would be delivered to my house the following day. Today is Dec. 15 and nothing has been delivered. I went to the store, explained this and requested a refund or a computer that I could take with me at the store. Ahmad told me that the shipment has been delayed and I need to take it up with FedEx. Zero accountability. He then brings over manager Jordan, who proceeds to tell me that it will most likely be delivered on Dec. 25. That's Christmas Day. An absolute joke. I purchased a big ticket item online to pickup at this store during black Friday. I had an issue with the item (box was opened when I came to pick it up), which they were glad to replace. My card ended up getting charged twice (I think because the serial number of the item gets recorded to each sale of this item). I went back to the store to see if they could reprocess the refund, ect... Andy helped me out to process the refund.
