Been coming to this location for over a decade. Our experience with their service is that the vast majority of interactions with employees have been very positive. We have purchased items in store, on line, and replaced phones with them. All the representatives have professional, friendly, and helpful. Recently purchased a TV online, Geek squad called when they were 15 minutes out, showed up on time, and had TVs swapped out in about 20 minutes. Very friendly and informative on the new purchase, much appreciated. Today when I entered the store, I was greeted, asked if I needed assistance, and actually walked right over to the item I was after (online website check showed only one in stock at Temple). Walked up to pay, no delays, friendly face at the check out. I was in and out within 5 minutes. No hesitation about using them in the future! read more

The customer service at this location has seriously gone downhill over the years since I've been living in Temple. I'm writing this review today because of the awful service I received, but after reading through other reviews, it's clear I'm not the only one experiencing this. I'm officially done with this Best Buy location after today, especially after dealing with the manager on duty, who was sitting around on her phone and having loud personal conversations right at the front desk entrance. It's completely unprofessional. I understand it's a Sunday and there were not a lot of customers (there never is) but if your standing at the front desk to greet people then at least look up at them and try to sound genuine. I went to Best Buy in Temple with the money to buy a new insta 360 X4 acti camera possibly a bundle and the sto was basically empty. I spent 30 minutes waiting for someone after multiple employees told me they were going to "grab something" and be right back. Despite being listed as an Authorized Apple Service Center... they are not. They list all of these iPhone repairs they can do, but aren't willing to do any of them. Plugging a phone in and saying "yea it doesn't turn on" when that's the VERY REASON for the visit is asinine. Already reported to Apple who will be conducting a review of the location and probably removing as an Authorized Apple Service Center. Trying to call the store after the visit? HAHAHA good luck. They don't have a customer service team any longer. You WILL be routed to the "global support desk" who just reads off a script and can't think for themselves. You will be transferred to whichever department the rep feels like transferring you to. You will be denied access to a supervisor at every turn. Who at Best Buy thought this was the way to go must be smoking something good because what? A RETAIL store with 0 customer service will fail, just destiny at this point. read more

After being treated by what I can only call laziness, ineptitud and spite at the Best Buy in Killeen my wife and I went to Best Buy in Temple to seek help selecting a new T.V. and other components. Upon arriving we were greeted at the door by several store employees and asked if we needed assistance and if so could they help us... We were handed over to Ben in audio and video where we explained our needs and he showed us every option the store had on the floor that had relevance to our pending purchase(s) and answered all of our questions directly. Ben's manager was available so we commented on the quality of service we received in both stores after making our purchases. We went in to get a new iPhone 15 for my wife. The customer service was top notch. Brandon and Aaron provided amazing customer service from purchasing to setting up the phone. Recently bought a Bosch dishwasher online from Best Buy. The installer wanted to charge me $176 to replace the hot water valve, which is a $10 part with 5 minutes of work. Best Buy might be ok if you are purchasing something in-store, but if you are there to get something serviced, forget it. I had a problem with my laptop recently, actually a relatively small problem I just wanted diagnosed. But no. All they really wanted to do was sell me their new "total" service contract for $179. I was not interested in purchasing that, however I couldn't even get them to take a look without charging me at least $150 up front, with no guarantee they'd be able to find out - or solve my problem. So why would I want to buy an extended contract for $179?? I will take my laptop elsewhere. I don't like being played, folks. They used to be a decent option for taking items in for service. Bought a new fridge and a laptop from the Temple, Texas location. The girl helping us place this order (Kayla I believe) was very attentive and seemed knowledgeable on the products we were interested in. Laptop we took with us and scheduled a delivery for the fridge. A few days later, Nate and Carlos delivered our fridge on time (Best Buy offers a four hour window on this type of delivery). Both gentlemen were polite and professional. They had to remove our front door to get the oversized appliance into our house; but, they took their time (appropriately) and made the delivery without an issue. Well done! After the tornado hit my mother-in-law's house, We had to go buy her a new computer so she can access her email account and keep in contact with utilities Sherance companies etc. considering money is tight until insurance comes through I asked for their open box and they were so helpful. A manager helped me out because he had a key. Now my mother-in-law's are so blind, so he hooked me up with a small TV that was also an open box and I got a fire stick and hooked up all of my apps in my accounts so she could listen to the TV shows that she loves. Hooked me up with an external DVD that hooks up to the laptop so she'll listen to all her favorite CDs and DVDs that we found in the wreckage. Luckily she wasn't at the house during the time The tornado hit. All that for under $500. Thank you so much for the wonderful manager who helped us out. read more

They Almost burnt my C3 vette to the ground installing the car stereo. Burnt the distributor wire and toasted the 6AL ignition control module and distributor by splicing into and wiring constant. Had to have it towed after smelling and watching it smoke. The guy was not even going to say he smelled or say there was a problem. I told him man, It smells like burnt wires. She was so patient despite all the unforeseeable problems handling our phone upgrade. The worst customer experience I've had with any company! I went into the store, ordered a new washer to be delivered on March 30. They contacted me soon after to reschedule to April 9 which was not that big of a deal. On April 8 they contacted me and told me to be ready for my installation the following day. On my delivery day, they contacted me halfway through the window where they were to arrive asking me to reschedule yet again. This is after I had gone through the trouble of disconnecting and removing my old washing machine. Called customer support who disconnected with me 3 times and NEVER called back even though the first question every rep asks is for a phone number in case "we get disconnected." I'm still waiting for 3 reps to call me back 2 days later...I won't hold my breath. The only solution they could offer was for me to pick up the washer on April 14th or wait for deliver on April 24th. I will never do business with a company that treats their customers with so little consideration and respect. They should have known the day before delivery that there was a supply issues. read more

Came in and during the consultation the employee told me that since they are severely understaffed that I would have to leave my phone there for 5-6 days. I hate that I drove 1 hr round trip for a 2 minute consultation stating that I would have to be without a phone for that long. Advised me to travel to Austin for better help. I went to the store in Temple because my daughter called and said she talk to a John at temple about our iPhone. When I got to the store after driving two hours there was no John at that store so I asked for the geek squad to help me with my iPhone and he assured me that I didn't have an appointment and I couldn't be waited on after I drove two hours and then Jake Jake from State Farm was a real jerk. I have seen a lot of people in my life and met a lot of people but he's the winner on the big a hoe , and then the manager upfront that I tried to talk to, and ask told me to take deep breath's and step back and then he told me he couldn't help me so I said some real nice words to him and walked out and that will be the last time I'm in Best Buy in Temple so if you want to get screwed or you want to get aggravated or you need your blood pressure raised, go for it, but I would recommend never stepping foot in Best Buy read more

My husband and I visited Best Buy to buy a new oven/range. We found one that was exactly what we wanted. We were there for about 25 minutes looking around the appliances. Not one sales associate acknowledged us or asked if we needed assistance. I went to look for someone to see if they had a tape measure. I went to the man sitting by the door. I asked if he had a tape measure. He said "no, not here". He then told me that I could go "hunt someone down in home theater to get one". He did not offer to call anyone to assist us. There was a couple that set the alarm off when they left the store, and he was too busy with his entertainment (listening to whatever through earbuds) that he did not acknowledge them. If we start looking at something in one department but also need another item, she doesn't just point the way. She walked me over and helped me find the exact item I was looking for. I think she has walked me through every department now over the course of several visits. Today, she really listened to our needs AND understood that we wanted great quality but couldn't spend a fortune. We never feel pressured to spend more than we can afford. Today I had to ask...
