I'll be happy to update this review once I receive better communication with Dawson Appliance. Technician evaluated my appliance determined I needed a part. It's been 7 days and no part. Holiday is approaching and I've been trying to get the Dawson team to provide me an ETA on when the part / install will arrive. Maybe a tracking number? Update 4/3: Andrew did call and schedule the repair yesterday evening. He stated that the part had arrived. While he was here, he mentioned that the part had been on back order. I understand back order (happens in the manufacturing world) but it would have been helpful if he would have told me that when the part was ordered. I appreciate the special accommodations that Dawson made to install the back ordered part. Upgrading the stars. read more

OMG this company ROCKS. I mean it. Our dishwasher broke and appliance people say they cannot come out for days, then have to order part (more days) then schedule a repair date (MOREdays). . Dawson Appliance Repair came out the SAME day - and had the part and had our dishwasher operating within 24 hours! Excellent prices, efficient, professional, clean, and friendly. Our motor needed replacing and Andrew Dawson (owner) did not charge an arm and a leg. He is the 3rd generation in his family to do appliance repair and he KNOWS what he's doing. Andrew Dawson was called to look at my Kenmore Elite refrigerator, the interior light sometimes stayed on. I also had an issue replacing the water filter. After a brief look, he determined one of the door latches needed to be replaced. He determined the model number to order. Andrew also figured out why i couldn't get the water filter in place, he was able to get it in. I was very satisfied with his knowledge and the experience. Mr. Dawson worked with my schedule, arrived promptly, explained my problems, offered his solutions, and repaired not one but two appliances on his service call. He repaired my refrigerator which was not cooling adequately and also my range which had a short and needed some rewiring. He was efficient, fast and very patient with my questions.
