Do not. I repeat do not use their delivery service. The clerk had me pick a time for the delivery. Not only did they 7 hours early. I got the worst customer service from the delivery guy and the customer service from the store. Me and my boyfriend came in, and we're having the worst trouble with a hotspot. The assistant manager JT was the best person we could have talked to. He walked us through everything, and provided help that calmed us down because we were a little upset with the hotspot. If I could rate this best buy and their employees, i would do a 12/10! It took several months of asking questions with J.T. and Shawn. They were very professional and patience with us. With their help we bought the 9F Sony master-series 65" 4K TV. They helped us with rewards program as well as the 24 month same as cash option. They suggested that we use the GEEK SQUAD to do a professional job. Sure glad I did. Geek Squad - We all know they are expensive, but we sometimes end up using them anyway due to the convenience. On average they are about 50% higher then qualified IT mom and pop shops...FYI They also have a rough time managing their time. I went in simple project please load a fresh copy of windows and a fully functioning HP Pro Lap Top. Roughly 30 minutes worth of work. I paid $110 and was told it could take as much as three days. OK, let do this. I scheduled a follow up three days later and went back to work. Next day I get a text saying it was ready. Wow OK, I will go get it on my lunch break following day. I get there and show them the text stating it was ready and I was asked do you have an appointment? Well yes but it is in two days, I just need to pick it up. OK, sir if you could take a seat it will be about an hour before we can help you. Wait I am done I pre-paid and just need to pick it up. As a Total Tech Support member your supposed to get free install on your back up cameras and stereos, right? That's why I bought at Best Buy. Showed up at the appointment and I'm told that their install guy quit, then when looking through the system he wasn't finding my appointment to begin with. After OVER A MONTH waiting for this appointment with the parts specifically ready to pick up today, and they weren't even seeing my appointment. Best Buy is a good addition to Market Place. Reasons to go: 1) Inventory. If you do not have the time or trust to shop online and need something quick, they have music, games, and movies as well as gaming accessories. 2) Prices on 'big' electronics. I have priced TVs and sound bars at Best Buy, Navy Exchange, Wal-Mart, Target, and K-Mart. I bought both items at different times from Best Buy. They are tough to beat and they have amazing sales on black Friday! 3) New stuff. These guys usually have the latest and greatest available to the customer in their wheelhouse. It's fun to go in and browse. Reasons to avoid: 1) Service. It is hit or miss at any given Best Buy. Edie has a point. Most teens (assuming that is what Edie is) are watched but not asked if they need help but rather to make sure that nothing is stolen. There is a reason for this with high statistics of teens shoplifting from stores that sell the highly coveted products sold at Best Buy. We ordered a 10.2 cubic freezer online for Black Friday. We went to pick it up the Sunday after. The men up front directed me to "pick up" kiosk, the sweet woman there scanned the email confirmation barcode on my phone and asked for my id (needs to be the name on the order), and in minutes two men had the freezer out front and loaded it in the bed of our truck for us. Wish I had read the reviews first. Ordered a washer and dryer and scheduled the delivery and installation for a month later, so it could be delivered right after I moved into my new home. On the morning of the scheduled delivery, I received a confirmation text message confirming the delivery window. I waited and waited and didn't hear anything and I finally received an email saying that they were rescheduling the delivery for a week later. Apparently they wrote in the notes that the installer was unavailable and that he tried contacting me, even though no one ever contacted me. After that, I called and spoke with 2 different people who told me that my appliances were in the local warehouse and that they would contact the manager to see if they could have them delivered sooner. Never heard anything. Finally called again to follow up and spoke with a third person who told me that they are unable to deliver them early. So now I am stuck without a washer and dryer in my new home. Needless to say I will no longer be doing business with Best Buy. read more

Honestly don't have enough bad things to say about this Best Buy. I bought all new kitchen appliances from them and had an awful experience with the delivery and installation process. 1. They never showed up during the allotted time frame. 2. They stood me up two times for a repair, yes a repair only after two weeks of being installed , just didn't show up, no call or anything. Now I have to hire someone else. 3. Also stood me up on installing my oven all together. I called to ask why and their explanation was that they thought the installation was a mistake. After explaining, he assured me that Best Buy didn't offer that and Geek Squad wouldn't do it because of software copyright issues. Hmm. I wasn't aware that Best Buy employed lawyers as greeters. Of course, as an experienced intellectual property business owner, I assured him he was incorrect, which he argued as an expert in this area. I ended the discussion by telling him I appreciated that Best Buy was wary of these issues. I went home and did an Internet search for a product to satisfy my needs and the first item to arise was the a software product that was applicable and it was available for curbside pickup at Best Buy in Waco. To reiterate, this was my last visit to Best Buy. Their employees appear to be ignorant of their own offerings, so why bother with them? This Best Buy has horrible customer service. If I could give this store zero stars I would. Twice now I have had a horrible experience regarding a purchase. The first time was when I purchased a 4K copy of a film for pickup and they gave me a copy with a damaged case. I went inside the store to make a simple exchange with the copies left in stock. There were no other copies to be found so I asked customer service where they were. They said in the back of the store. I told customer service I couldn't find them. They replied "It should be there". No one bothered to check if it was in stock or put up on the shelf from storage. So I demanded a refund and found the film at another store. Now, I go to find a copy of a new 4K release. The Best Buy app listed it as still in stock with 2 copies in the store. The movie was nowhere to be found in the store. I asked customer service where it may be inside the store. They said check the back of the store. I told them yet again there were no copies. The customer service lady was rude and just said "I don't know". I am done with this store. It pains me because I have enjoyed buying new films and tech from Best Buy for over a decade. Right now they have the absolute worse customer service and most of the employees are lazy. They socialize with each other to look busy. I will not be shopping for new films here anymore. read more

I bought a Kenwood Excelon double din on 12/30/18 tried to return it on 1/2/19 and was not allowed a refund was told I can only send it off to be fixed. They wouldn't refund my money so I leave called Best Buy Customer Service Number an was told that I can return it since I paid cash I would get a check in the mail with managers go to store denied of refund again now because I'm past my 14 day period which is a rule they made about returning devices that need activation but at the same time won't refund my money so leave call Best Buy customer service again they tell me I can't receive a refund because I'm past the 14 day return rule that have even tho I bought it on 12/30/18 and tried to return 1/2-19 do the math. Best Buy customer service now says I can return and this time get store credit which is better than nothin after this long again managers approval get to the store they don't know anything. Once a faithful - Never Again! - Lied to. Promise not delivered. And spineless insensitive management only gives excuses or blame shifts - and ultimately shafted the customer. - I really would have rather let you know how a bad situation was made tolerable by Best Buy- I gave the three separate times to 'do the right thing' believing surely they would... But to my astonishment met arrogance. - my little story - my car was broken into and everything was stolen (not at Best Buy but in front of Pei Wei). I needed a new computer immediately for work, a new Apple MacBook, and they told me it could be delivered to the store on Saturday (free pickup - it was Wednesday) they then said if I wanted to pay $30 I could have it delivered one day earlier to my home. Without hesitation I paid the extra $30 as I needed it. - well late the next day I was alerted by email my computer would arrive the following Monday!! I immediately called Best Buy to intervene in this situation and they said "that was just an 'estimate' " and that FedEx's issue. The next day I called and asked to speak with a manager as what the employee had told me was a lie and I was quite upset as now I wouldn't be able to get the computer I needed any sooner than Monday... I was stuck with this order. When pressed the manager said they might have to deal with better training but said it was FedEx's fault. I let them know it was Best Buy who I was dealing with who I paid to have the computer shipped directly to me- not FedEx (contracted by Best Buy) it was their responsibility. He said, "sir, what do you want me to do?" (Irritable) I said, "say you are 'sorry' for one!" (Not once was there an apology through my entire experience... Even after saying that) they said they would give me back my shipping. So I let him know how ridiculous it was that I PAY $30 on top of $3,300 (which caused me to not go elsewhere and spend my money) and they didn't deliver- but they got the sale, I lose out on valuable work and they just give me back $30....! He then said, because he knew I was mad, "how bout we give you a computer bag?" I told him, "how bout you think about it and call me back in an hour of what you think is right to do." He never called me back. So I finally went in yesterday and told 'my story' - manager didn't even come out but instructed the kind girl to just give me the $30 back. How sad. read more

Been here numerous times since moving to area about 2 years ago. Only had a problem with one individual during these visits. It was addressed and made right. Have spent $7000 plus over this time. Any issue we have had with bad product was taken care of quickly. Todd (if name is right) is a great manager that recently has made things right when Best Buy online customer service screwed them up.
