My in store experience was ok there was several things I couldn't find or out of stock. Still I got pretty much everything I was needing. This is my main issue the lawn and garden .... my plants were so dried out they were nearly dead, I had to give them a whole week of water and love to bring them to the point I could plant them and I didn't just buy a few I spent around $300 on flowers, and they were all this way. Ordered washer and dryer in November. Didn't want them delivered until December but the. I changed it to Jan 5 because this is going in a new build. HD calls me wanting to move it up but I said no. Jan 5 came and went with no delivery and no explanation as to why not. Rescheduled to Jan 8 but then found out the delivery appointment was not completed so now it's scheduled for Jan 15. I have called so many people and many of those numbers more than once without getting an answer of what happened on Jan 5. Now they've gotten together and concocted a story that the dryer had not arrived for delivery and that's why it's not being delivered til Jan 15. ALL a bunch of lies just CYA. Customer service people are so freaking lazy! They will cancel a pick up order even tho they are fully stocked. pick up or drive up are optional. I've been a loyal Home Depot customer for many years, but their partnership with Citi Bank just cost them a customer forever. I have consistently paid my credit card payments on time and well above the minimum for years. During this holiday season I overlooked a $28 minimum payment. They reduced my credit limit from $14500 to $1100 and told me I had to start over to re-establish my credit limit. If I have to start over, I'm going to start over somewhere else. Sorry Home Depot, $28 cost you a lifetime customer. Because of your partnership with Citi Bank and their poor business practices, I'll never step foot in another Home Depot store again. read more

We had heard on local and national news that there was a shortage of fresh Christmas trees, and if you could find one, it would be so expensive you couldn't afford it. NO! We went into the Bellmead Home Depot and found a good selection of trees. When we selected one the worker offered to load it into the truck for us. When I went to pay for the tree it was $3 more than last year. Don't listen to the doom and gloom newscasters. Go out, find your fragrant fresh tree, and enjoy the holidays! What can I say. I've gone in with no customer service before. I went in. Went to flooring. FINALLY snagged someone who was to get some one from flooring, who was a no show for 15 mins. So at this point we were waiting over 30 minutes. I finally after an additional 15 snagged another person. Her question was "well are you just looking or buying?" (Uh, probably not anymore). So she called for Sales who once again did not show and we left after 20 minutes. We've bought several things w HD and their policy on returns is really great! They did deliver our washer / dryer on time; they did a really great job being attentive and on time! With that being said, one of the old ladies at the front desk should retire. You'll know who she is, you cant miss her, shes a Negative Nancy. You'll see .. . . . Anyways, if it's the weekends - goodluck finding someone to help you. Wait time is usually 35 minutes approximately. It's better to catch em during the week when they're not swamped with orders. I have had numerous problems with the personnel at the Home Depot West Waco Drive store. I went in to buy paint supplies and they just said it was on Aisle 123 (or whatever the number was) and didn't bother to get up and help me find the product. Which was not on that aisle at all. So I go back and ask again and they give me another aisle number. Same thing, it's not there. It happened a 3rd time, so I just walked out of the store and went to True Value; those True Value people were very nice and took me to the paint and helped me get what I needed. . Then, another time, I was shopping for flooring and there was an old guy sitting at a desk there, not helping anyone else, and when I asked if a certain carpet on the roll was 15-foot wide, he snapped at me and rudely told me they only have 12 foot widths, then he went back to reading his cell phone. OK, no matter, Lowe's has 15 foot widths and my Lowes carpet has been installed and looks fantastic. Finally, I went in to pay my HD charge card off and the African American lady at the customer service desk could not or would not tell me what the total bill was, she would only give me the minimum payment amount; then she couldn't or wouldn't run the check through properly. I finally said never mind, I'll phone it in and she threw the check at me and said "take your shit and get out of here." So ugly! Next day, my email said the check had been run through twice, which of course won't be honored by the bank, and I tried called HD's 800 number listed on the HD website and could not get through to a human to find out what to do to make it right. I just got my bill today and I'm being charged a late fee. I am furious! I called another 800 number on the bill and it took forever but I finally got a real live human (someone in a foreign country with whom it was difficult to talk to) and ultimately was able to pay off the bill and close my credit card account. I will not be shopping at Home Depot again, and recommend that you also avoid this store. read more

I won't ever use Home Depot of Waco again after I tried to set up curb side pickup, then ordered only to find out half of my order was being shipped to my house days after the need for my project completion. To add insult to injury I was told I couldn't cancel the item since it was outsourced and found that they had the item in the store the entire time. This was the second time their customer service was lacking within a month. I purchased drywall from the Waco location and and no one would help me load it into my truck for over 45 minutes even after the girl at the register asked people to help repeatedly. I highly recommend going elsewhere with your home projects. The businesses/contractors Home Depot uses to complete home projects (i.e. bathroom remodels and windows) are unprofessional and unreliable. I made appointments with two different contractors regarding projects. The first came to my house, took measurements, and left informing me he would call and email me regarding a project time frame, cost, and materials. Since this appointment, I haven't heard from him and Home Depot has no record of the company they sent to my house. The second contractor made an appointment to come to my house today, and never showed. Again, after calling Home Depot they were still unable to offer any contact information for this contractor. Overall, I've wasted an ENORMOUS amount of time and stress with this company. Home projects are stressful enough, do yourself a favor and invest your time with a company who values your business. read more

I've been shopping this HD since they opened. I prefer Lowe's for most things, but sometimes they have a better item. Customer service is good, but can be difficult to track down help at times. Pricing is competitive Lowe's. Checking out is sometimes a pain if the self-check-out is the only open register. PVC doesn't like to scan & I'm not that great at scanning a basket full of my own products. The LG A/C window unit I purchased 4 years ago for my office is still working great. read more

My wife and I just moved here from Arizona. We did not have a refrigerator but the previous owner left a decent one in the garage but it was too big for the kitchen space. We measured, picked a model, ordered it by phone from the local Home Depot. It took awhile to get here but two folks from the Dallas area delivered it yesterday. They hooked up the ice maker, gave a quick briefing and they were gone. We are extremely pleased. The refrigerator is perfect. Thanks to all involved. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. I have never experienced such poor customer service. The lumber departments mistake were a detriment to my project. They didn't want to help us in the first place, and then when we finally got help, they said they wouldn't complete the task. The customer care desk was excellent, I would rate them as a 5 star. If you want to do diy, do not shop at Home Depot, they will not help you. The manager at this location, mike, is a horrible manager. He is rude and condescending to the customers. As rule, I love going to home depot. I needed some of the roll up shades cut to size the other day. Just like a trained monkey, I picked out the shades I wanted and went to the c/s. desk for help. They told me "some one was on the way". After I waited appx. 15 min. I went and asked again and was told the same thing. I was shopping for a washer and dryer this weekend. At my 1st stop at another store I spotted a few I was interested in and asked a few questions. Big mistake apparently as I was made to feel like an intruder even though it was early and I was the only customer in the department. Maybe the fellow was just having a bad day, but it was the worst customer service I've ever received. So I drove a couple miles to Home Depot and was helped by a woman named Robin. She took the time to explain different features and offered quite a bit of advice from her experience in the department. I found a set that fit my budget and she entered the sale and set up my delivery. This morning I had a missed call and voicemail from an unrecognized number. Turns out it was from her calling to let me know about a discount I was eligible for. I was in the area again today so took my receipt to the store to get the discount and to thank her. She wasn't there, but her coworker in the department was also very helpful and went with me to the service desk to explain that I was eligible for the 10% discount. If nothing had been said I'd never have known about it. Nice job & thank you Home Depot! read more

This location has serviced our home needs quite well. Staff on 98% of our trips is good to outstanding. There is an older guy back in plumbing area 50-60s age. He just seems to bounce and not actually focus on your needs or questions. At times you think is helping but just walks off and is only 1/2 helping someone else. Others have stepped up and because if it money spent here as opposed to Lowe's is $10,000s vs a few hundred. THEY ARE MUCH MORE CARING OF VETERANS!!!!!!!! Only issue is installation services can be sporadically good Vs bad. Timely vs will this ever get done. read more

Bought a grill for my husband on 5/22/21. Huge sign near grills stating free assembly and delivery for those over a certain price, so we chose that option. Were told it would be delivered the next Tuesday. Was delivered on Tuesday 5/25/21 - unassembled. Called the store, who had no record of the delivery. Apparently It was shipped directly to us from a store in Georgia! Since that original call, my husband has called back numerous times, trying to get in touch with someone who can provide the assembly and delivery promised. On more than one occasion, it was suggested that we bring the grill to the store, wait for it to be assembled, and then take it home. HELLO! If we had the means to do that, we would have done so in the first place. This was also explained to more than one person. One employee suggested we bring back the unassembled grill, they would credit our account, then we could buy an assembled one with "our name on it" and schedule a delivery. Again, we do not have a vehicle large enough to do this, hence our choice of the option of assembly and delivery. Last communication was on Friday, 05/28, when he was told that the IT department has no way of scheduling a pickup and they would need to figure out how to do that. It's now Tuesday night of June 1st and no return call. This is extremely frustrating and the fact that most of the solutions offered have involved us going out of our way to correct Home Depot's error is unbelievable. The guy working behind the paint counter was extremely rude. Went in about a week ago to get some paint samples mixed and they only carry satin paint samples, which is fine, but we are painting with eggshell finish. When I asked for the paint to be mixed, he made it a point to tell me that I'm asking for "eggshell" when I have a "satin" sample and wanted to let me know that would be a problem. Then instead of explaining he could only do a color match for the paint I wanted (because we wanted to go with a different brand) he told me he couldn't do it. He told me I would basically have to go with that brand. I started to walk away to get the other brand and he stopped me and said "if you would listen..." at which point I grabbed my mixed sample and left. To talk to a customer that way is unacceptable and is pretty appalling. I called the BellMead Home Depot and she assured me she could get us taken care of with a color match and actually explained it very well and was very customer friendly about it. I will be making the extra drive from here on to avoid Waco dr. horrible customer service. read more

The guy looked at me said you buy a GE? I said yes he shrugged his shoulders and had me sign for it. 3 days later the delivery company calls and says Hey we brought you the wrong appliance. I said yep I told the delivery guy and he didn't seem to care. He said well we need it back I'll have it picked up Saturday and bring you yours the following Wednesday. I said no....he said well I'll have to see what I can do...the situation goes downhill from there! Worse customer service EVER!! I even called corporate, they promised a supervisor would call....never happened!! I offered to pay the difference just to avoid the hassle...they said they would still have to pick up the one they delivered return it and bring it back!!!!!!!! Your customer service is awful. My husband and I were in your store yesterday. You had two ladies working at the pro desk. I know good customer service and they both need some training. We asked for a lumber cart and one told us we would have to go back out the entrance and get it. Due to the current restrictions you only have one entrance open. I do understand that but what I have a problem with is there were at least 4 employees just standing around. One could have opened the contractor door and pulled some carts in the bldg for your customers, which they did after we complained. I didn't appreciate the side glances and snickering from these ladies Nor did I appreciate that when one of these ladies did bring us a cart I thanked her and she pushed it toward me and walked away without a word. We spend a lot of money in your store but we will shop at Lowe's from now on. Also, I tried to find a manger without much success. read more

First time I've ever come to a Home Depot where not a single person offered to help me. I was on aisle where the locks are located looking for a mailbox key (I know nothing about locks or which is right for what) 5 employees were present by/on the aisle I was on. I had to interrupt the group who all were more concerned about seeing someone's ASA dog than stepping away to help another customer. Not asking for the whole group but at least one...When I told one of the ladies what I was looking for another employee chimed in and pointed down the aisle telling me that they are by mailboxes and there should be accessories. Neither cared to show me.... I went to the end of the aisle to look and there was another employee stocking a shelf... he looked at me then went back to what he was doing. It was quite obvious I wasn't finding what I needed or even knew where it was (I could not find it where she had sent me) and still no help offered. Super disappointing because I've always spoke highly of Home Depot.... after today I will avoid coming back. read more
