    I was PROMISED a call today at 6 am by Darlene when speaking to her yesterday. I need a phone call because your company GUARANTEED a stove to me yesterday and decided on your own to change my delivery, I was told yesterday for 10 hours on the phone waiting for managers and speaking to associates that it was out of order I til August 23, 2020 which was a lie. Mr. Stephen Larson checked and Darlene notified they have it in the warehouse. Your employees have been lying to me from the beginning. I was GUARANTEED a stove yesterday per your manager I spoke to when I canceled my refrigerator. I made it clear that I was getting rid of my stove and wanted to make sure it would be here. She GUARANTEED it would be. How can your business be based out of customer relations when no one speaks to customers? This is a serious issue because I work for a living and we took yesterday off and it was confirmed by your email you were coming the Sunday prior 15th of August for the delivery. I would like a call from "someone who can speak to customers". I was told by Zach that they are going to take 500.00 off this stove but that doesn't help me right now for a week with kids and no stove. Five hundred dollars is nothing compared to the hardship and agony you have caused on my family. You just assume I am available on Monday August 24th? You schedule my delivery with no regards to when I work and my family and I am not taking that day off again. You are now going to deliver it when I say you will, I am not going to lose anymore wages for your companies incompetent associates. You refuse to handle this issue and it is honestly sad that you treat customers like second class citizens who spend a lot of money on your products. You basically were to lazy to go pick up the stove from Illinois and bring it to the closest store for delivery and that is what it boils down to. I will spend the rest of my life if I have to make people aware of your corporate leadership skills and incompetence from your staff. I will make billboards and post them all over the country, I don't care. I will NOT be treated this way. Your company is costing us thousands by your incompetence from lost wages to ordered food because of a FALSE GUARANTEE from your manager. I need to discuss this without sitting on the phone for hours on end exhausting my body and mind. 848-259-3483

    DO NOT RECOMMEND -- DISHONEST AND MISLEADING PRACTICES, ESPECIALLY TOWARD NEW CUSTOMERS…read more I made it clear from the beginning that I was a first-time customer and that this was my first time doing business with them. Based on my experience, that did not result in clearer explanations or transparency--instead, it appeared to work against me. They attempted to downgrade the quality of the metal I brought in without providing any proof, testing results, or documentation to support their claim. No explanation was offered beyond their word. I was intentionally kept in the dark until the very end of the process. Only after my profile was fully created and I was fingerprinted was I told what they intended to pay. As a new customer, this felt especially misleading and calculated. Even more concerning, I was given three different weights for the same material. The weight I was verbally told in the scale room did not match the weight printed on the receipt and was short by approximately one pound, with no explanation for the discrepancy. Because of these issues, I requested my material back and took it to West Side Metal & Iron, where it was confirmed that the metal was exactly what I originally stated and not the lower-grade material this business claimed it was. That confirmation made their earlier claims appear deceptive. They also fail to disclose critical payment restrictions upfront. Customers--especially new ones--are not informed that payouts are capped at $25 per day. Any higher balance requires returning later or waiting for a check to be mailed, which can take 4-7 business days. This information is withheld until after the transaction is already in progress. If you are a first-time customer or do not have extensive knowledge of scrap materials, be extremely cautious. Based on my experience, this business appears to take advantage of inexperience through withheld information, inconsistent weights, and questionable grading.
