I needed a new battery for my iPhone. They had one in stock and were able to replace it in just over an hour. I had to give them my husband's number to text when it was ready because I didn't have another number. Customer service was great! My battery health capacity was at 73% and I could easily my new one at 100% health capacity. My phone was only 30% charged when I got it back because they said that's how new batteries come. It would have been nice to get my phone back fully charged, but I'd also rather have my phone back sooner. They are located between Vitality Bowls and MOD Pizza at Centerpoint. They take walk-ins but only allow 2 people inside the small building at a time so you may need to stand outside to wait. They are currently closed on Sundays but that may change. My 5 star rating is because I happened to catch someone at the store when I picked up lunch next door and they squeezed me in when they're normally closed. Thank you so much! read more

I received an email from my cellular service provider recommending that I take my phone in to get cleaned. That consisted of: (1) Bathe your device in UV light to kill harmful viruses and bacteria. (2) Clean everything to make it shine like new. When I arrived for my appointment time, the person who came from the back was checking in my phone and then stated that my passcode to my phone was required to clean the phone. I asked him to help me understand why, to educate me. His response was: Because we partnered with Samsung, we need your passcode to close out the order. I, again, tried to clarify, that my passcode is needed to clean the phone and he said, Yes. Because we partnered with Samsung, that's the only way we can close out the order. He then went to the back, I'm guessing to ask someone else, and came back and confirmed, yes, we need the passcode. He also shared that I could not provide the passcode until I returned for the phone and it would be an additional 20 minutes when I came back. I shared that I'd wait in the lobby so when they needed my passcode I'd be there. Approximately 40 minutes later, this same person came out to the lobby and told me that my phone was complete. I asked how it was completed and they never asked for my passcode and he stated, "Like I said we haven't done many of these." When I picked up my phone, it had smudges on the back of the phone and the front had fingerprints all over the screen. I asked him if it was clean, he said yes. I said are you sure? Do you see all of these fingerprints all over the phone. His response was, your phone is complete. I wish I could've taken a picture of the phone for proof. However, I am sooooooooooo glad I didn't pay for this service because I'd be livid and would've let them have it in the shop. Honestly, I don't believe any of the ports were cleaned nor the phone sanitized... the phone definitely didn't shine like it was new. The person wasn't rude in tone, but rude in service, if that makes sense. I wasn't informed of what the diagnostics were for my phone and he didn't provide a receipt. I would like to speak to a manager. I definitely will not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I dropped my phone and it landed facedown on the hard floor. I thought it was a goner. My daughter recommended this place. I went online and scheduled an appointment. They looked at it and said come back in two hours. I did and it was fixed! I'm so happy with this place!!! read more

I took my iPad Air in to UBreakiFix for repair because the battery was no longer charging. First, they replaced the battery with no luck then, they replaced the charging port. The charging port replacement seemed to fix the problem, but after using the iPad once, it stopped charging again (identical symptom). They said there was nothing else they could do. They are essentially throwing parts at problems. I'm out $150 and still have an unusable device. Beware! read more

I managed to crack and kill my screen even with a phone screen protector on. I was honestly ready to suck it up and buy a new phone when my BF reminded me of the uBreakiFix store right by HomeGoods. We went online and looked at their pricing. It quoted me $109 for an iPhone x repair. We called and they said that if we got there before 5, they could have it fixed same day before they closed. We dropped it off, and they sent status updates to my email as well as my BFs phone number. Service was good. They give you the declaimers about the limits of their abilities before they take your phone away. Only downside was that I wasn't given a quote for the part (not labor which makes sense) so when I came back to pay it was $10 higher pre-tax than I had seen on the website. Not a huge deal, it's not even 10%. Will remember this place the next time someone mentions they need to get their phone repaired. Tip: they are also a certified google repair place for pixels! read more

I was sent in by Samsung to repair a warranty related screen issue on my phone. We were told it would be complete next day. Fast forward my husband goes to pick up my phone and we are told that the employee who checked us in accidently ran this through as insurance instead of warranty. Now they need a manager to release my phone and go figure there isn't one available. Poor business decision but sure let's go with it. Now we find out that the manager on is just too busy to fix their employees mistake and they still will not return my phone. So my $2000 phone is currently being held hostage because of their error. I have had better experiences with enemas than I have with this company. Do not under any circumstance bring your phone here without retaining a lawyer to recover your stolen property first! read more

I dropped my phone and cracked the screen around 5:30pm today, and with a quick a Google search I found that uBreakiFix had competitive pricing ($119 to fix a Pixel screen). The website was super intuitive and I was able to schedule a drop off for 6pm same day. The clerk that greeted me was very friendly. She had to check if the parts were in stock, and luckily they were. I wish the website would've told me if the store was in/out of stock, as if I drove 30 minutes for the parts to be unavailable, I'd be upset. My screen was repaired in just 50 minutes (they quoted an hour and were done early!). Pickup process and payment were both quick and seamless. I'll definitely return when my screen breaks again, ideally not anytime soon!! read more

I initially showed up on Tuesday and the person working the front desk told me that I had insurance on my phone through Assurant (not Assurion who closely works with the company). They gave me a phone number of who to call and when I explained to them the problem they told me they didn't do phones and transferred me to Google who wouldn't let me talk to a person. I went back in and asked if there was another number I should call and the staff told me that was the only number they had. I left and did some calling around and finally found Assurant's mobile ins helpline. I put in a claim, but then am called back several hours later and was told that I in fact did not have insurance through them.Between the driving to the location and figuring out who to call I spent about 1.5 hrs that amounted to me being no step closer to having a fixed phone. I decide to go back Wednesday to pay out-of-pocket like I figured I had to do. Staff told me it would be 2.5-3 hours for my phone to get fixed. Came back to the store over 4 hours after I dropped it off. They told me they forgot to text it and it would be another 15 minutes. I left and came back 20 minutes later and they told me that something wasn't put back right so it would be another 30-45 minutes. I left and came back 45 minutes later and they said it still wasn't ready but would be ready soon. After the manager and the person working on my phone kept confirming to me that it would be done soon I waited. I waited patiently in the store for over an hour and a half until finally leaving so I could make it to a planned dinner with my mom where my fiance and I were going to tell her that we just got engaged. I was late to the dinner and I missed getting to tell my mom that I was going to get married and see her reaction. I came back the next day and the apology I got was minimal that came along with $10 off my order. I explained to them what I missed and told them I had a $10 off coupon already so their discount was literally nothing. I got to speak to the manager and he told me that the most he could offer me off was $20 off, otherwise the store would have to pay for it. He refused to give me any contact information of who was his boss explaining to me that he ran the store even when I asked for for a district manager's information. He did also offer me a screen protector along with the $20 off, however the screen protector he put on my phone was not made for my phone, I know because left side of my screen isn't fully covered and there is no notch cut out for my front-facing camera. I am extremely not pleased with them stringing me along over and over while I waited patiently for my phone and for the minimal compensation I was given for my time. read more

At least it finally got repaired. The only reason I went with this cell phone service repair was the one week repair time on their website and their many positive reviews. Plus they had a free mail in service which was convenient given Covid. Then the bad: took 2 weeks plus to repair a simple charging port that was bad, had to call or stop in at the shop for updates, no correspondence from the shop. Always was the same thing; part did not come in, we ordered, still not in. I find that hard to believe as they are a certified Samsung repair shop. Finally got the manager on the phone and after some back and forth the part magically came in the day before and he was able to get it fixed and sent back to me that day. Finally got my phone with new battery and working charging port 15 days after sending it in. Simple apologies and I am sorry with calls on updates would be appreciated. Poor customer service this time around. May give them benefit of the doubt and try them one more time in person when another one of my devices breaks down. At least the manager was sincere and very apologetic and did the repair and sent it to me overnight. read more
