I was trying to participate in the Black Friday iPhone trade-in program in this store, but the employees didn't realize I could trade in my phone for a gift card without having to buy a new phone. Throughout the exchange, they were extremely courteous and professional. I left unsatisfied, but I emailed the store manager, Clay Turbeville. Clay called me the next day and was able to resolve my issue completely. When I went back into the store, the assistant manager, Glenn, was very helpful and friendly, helping me bypass the long lines and get help immediately. So while they weren't able to help me the first time around, they did everything right to correct the issue. Excellent customer service. I go to Best Buy looking for a radio to be installed in my car. Associate in car radio department is installing radios in display but can;t help me so he goes looking for someone who can. Came back again empty handed and left to look for help again. I get tired of waiting and head to the front of the store thinking I will not see people because they are either buisy or on their break. See plenty of associates idly chatting. Call store manager once I get home. Told them what happened. They say I should be compensated in some way and receive the help I deserve. Go back to the store. Meet the manager and another manager. They apologize. Go with associate from car radio area to find car radio. He can not find it at first and then I find it, But am told they are out of stock on that one. Also told they do not have an installation tech now and it will be two weeks before he is ready. Told I could go to neighboring town to have it installed there. Find out I have to pay for all parts in installation. OMG! read more

I'm a premier silver customer for Best Buy and I purchased a phone and a Mophie battery cover from the Warner Robins store on June 8th for Father's Day. I've never dropped my phone and always kept it in my pocket, virtually no scratches period. Well, the charging button on my phone would not go to the charge mode and when I moved it down it came loose. Well, I was 62 days from purchase and Silver customers have 60 days. I called the store first before driving over and the girl at customer service said, "Sure, no problem, we will switch it out for you" even after telling her my purchase date. I get there and another girl looks at my phone and tells me to hang on. 15 minutes later she says she cannot take the cover back because it appears to have physical damage indicating that I did something to damage my phone. I then asked to speak with her manager, Lillian Morrison who finally spoke with me 15 minutes later and basically questioned my integrity as to how the damage occurred and said she would not take it and said it was also over the 45 day limit. I told her that I told the girl on the phone the date and why would she tell me to bring the case in if you couldn't honor my request. Mrs. Morrison said its up to the manager and that they have to look at the case before making that decision. I told her I was a premier customer meaning that I've purchased a lot from that store (over $8500) over the past few years and she just gave me the party line of how I need to contact the manufacturer. I walked out very displeased with the customer service I received there so I called the 1-800 number and spoke with someone there. She told me it is manager's discretion but that they may honor it at another store since I'm right by my date. I called the Macon, GA store on Eisenhower and they took care of it right away. It's really a pity that when you can help someone who has given you lots of business in the past, that one would chose to haggle over an $80 phone case instead of doing what was right to keep that customer's business.
