This is the most mis-managed store I have ever seen. I pre-paid for a television and they gave it to someone else. Insisted that my wife picked it up. I have no wife. Two months ago I bought a Mac book pro. After standing in computer section I had to hunt down an assoc. today I went in to buy a router and modem. The person at the front door greeted me and pointed me to the correct area. After 20 minutes of looking in the glass cases waiting for some help. I got frustrated and as I was walking out there were five assoc. standing in the phone section discussing what they were having for dinner. I bought online from another retailer. Store manager should get these people helping customers. I should not have to hunt down people to help. read more

So I brought my computer in for a motherboard replacement and storage upgrade. Got computer back and was told I can reset pin online since it was disabled after the change. Can't connect to Internet and Ethernet port is not working. So I called geek squad on the phone since I have the Best Buy total membership and any issue I had they said bring it back to the store. What's the point of having an online remote diagnosis team if they can't do their job. So I can back a second time for the pin reset. Now I can't connect to the Internet at all. And instead of working with me and having geek squad call me back I get told I have to come back again for a third time. I payed for the total membership so I wouldn't run into problems with this computer. It's like I payed for nothing. It said in the repair report that windows was working perfectly fine and all hardware passed. It's not. read more

I had purchased a telephoto lens for my camera of the same brand. While it did fit, it was not fully functional. The autofocus function did not work, and I am a novice photographer so making manual adjustments at this stage is not practical. I wrote to the local store explaining my situation and the fact that the return time had passed. The store manager called me and gave me a full in-store refund. Very pleased. read more

Be prepared to be jerked around. 1. Ordered a TV and TV wall mount at 2pm for 1 hour curbside pick up. 2. Waited 2 hours to call and ask why order was not yet fulfilled. 3. 2.5 hours later, called and went inside store to see if we could expedite 1 hour curbside. 4. 3 hours later order cancelled, after we were told TV was in stock, when salesperson came out and gave us the wall mount. 5. Had to go inside to buy a different TV. If it weren't a convenience & time situation, Best Buy of Watertown would not have gotten our business today. They won't from now on. read more

If I could give less than one star, I certainly would. I went into the store yesterday, with a baby and toddler, to purchase a washer/dryer set and couldn't get anyone to help me. Several people were complaining of the poor service and walking out. I waited as long as I could then left. Today I called the store 4 times and was on hold greater than 15 each time and never got an answer. I then tried to purchase online, but had a couple questions so did the online chat. Oscar L. couldn't answer all my questions and advised me to "get to the store" to find out. What?!?! Then he let me know that only the dryer of the so called set was available; the washer wasn't even available to be ordered. Then why was it advertised as a set you ask... I have no earthly idea! I still need a washer/dryer, but will not be purchasing from Best Buy. read more

If I could give this place a straight 0/no stars I would. Went in to change carriers on two phone lines, planned on purchasing two phones and they didn't even put the effort in helping me. When I asked for someone the guy didn't seem interested in doing his job, or helping me, gave me excuses about it would take long for the process, preferred to be on his phone. Never going back to this store again. I rather drive to Syracuse. They need to hire people who actually want to work and help customers. read more

I ordered an item on black Friday online due to it being cheaper online than in store. The item said pick up was on the 7th of december. Tomorrow is that day. The problem I have is I noticed if I were to cancel my order I could get the same item within 2 hours. So update I talked to a lady hannah on the phone who talked to a troy. Both wonderful people who solved my issue the best they can. I have the item. Now will a be double charged? Not sure but let's hope not! Seems that people have been complaining about this place but for my visit, they were very nice. I had to pick up a few items from customer service and they were fast, thorough, and helped me with all my questions. One of the employees helped bring all my stuff out to the car and load it. Not sure why there are two listing for the same Best Buy but here is my review for this location, taken from the other listing: Best Buy is one of the few locations where I can go to escape the crowd of annoying teenagers. I know I know, I was one once upon a time too but darn it I do not remember myself being *that* annoying. *cheeky grin* But the place is nice and clean, the people working there actually seem very helpful and are quick to come ask if I need help whenever I'm browsing aimlessly. Up-charge for exchange! Who thought that this was ever a good idea? I bought a product for a Xmas gift. The individual did not like the colour. I'm okay with that. So when I went to go exchange the item - the same exact technology but in a different coluor - I was charged extra! At first I paid the up-charge thinking I'd spend anything for the individual I bought the item for, but then I realized, "Wait a minute! This is wrong!" More to the point, I exchanged an duplicate item for a different colour. This is purely an inexcusable business practice. And if it is not... It's at the very least, unethical! I was told that because the item in question was on sale (versus the one I wanted to exchange for,) I had to pay the regular retail price. Best Buy should honor the sale price, especially for items that have the exact same technical specifications. It's the last time I will visit this Best Buy, or any others, as long as this business practice remains in place. (It feels like a 'bait and switch' tactic.) As I spoke to the manager about the unethical business practice I got the feeling that I was wasting my time. The manager made sure to give a few reasons for the practice... and allowed me to leave the store, second guessing my decision to pay the up-charge. I've since been back to Best Buy and got a full refund. Which is really unfortunate because I will likely buy the same product on-line, as well as plenty of accessories! read more

I can say this because this manager is part of a Military family that has vets going back 4 generations. I have shopped here for years and I have always had the best customer service experiences. The employees come up to me and ask if they can help right away if I do have questions they answer them or find someone who can. Yes, it is a smaller Best Buy but, for our area, it seems to be sufficient. You can always order online as well. I have never had a bad experience here at all. read more

The worst experience I have ever had at a retail store. My son and I are starting a business and went into Best Buy to purchase a $437.99 purchase. They ran his check (he's 19 I am 65) and turned him down on the spot. They said that he had a high probability of fraud. My son has never had any problems of any kind of anything negative when it came to his credit or anything else. I also am a signer on the account and have a extremely high FICO score. (I should have just bought a dozen of them and refused to sign my American Express ticket. Best Buy will never get any business from our family and is destine to go out of business. They deserve to lose everything for the way they treat people. I could have bought it myself, but that would just be rewarding Best Buy for their negative behavior. I have always been self employed and have had many employees over the years, but would never allow any employe to treat customers the way Best Buy does. read more
