A good majority of my physical media has come from this store. I can tell that they are phasing it out as their collection is more about hardware and gift cards but its still good. Went there to purchase a laptop Mother's Day week. I looked around at laptops for 20 minutes and waited for someone to ask if I needed assistance . I was never approached by an associate. I would have thought someone would have acknowledged me and told me we'll be right with you or something!!!!!! I was never even acknowledged. After a1/2 hr of waiting I left the store disappointed and ended up making an on line purchase hoping I made the correct decision. Very helpful customer service at this Best Buy. We came in looking for a new Fridge. First impression when walking in, the person at the front was welcoming, and greeted us asking what we were looking for. I let him know we were looking for a new fridge, and he immediately requested someone to assist us. Male came to assist us and was very detailed and friendly. He also checked prices and explained to us about delivery, installation, and haul away for old fridge. He provided an estimate and delivery time. Impressed with the time he took to help us in a cordial and detailed way. We did not buy from them because the price was less elsewhere and we needed it delivered sooner. I cannot stand this store. You can have an appt with geek squad and still be waiting over an hr in line. There's always a ridiculous amount of employees around and yet no one can help you pick up a damn laptop unless it with geek squad. No repairs are needed, it just needs to be picked up. This is the 5th time I've been to this store and I still cannot pick it up because 2 hrs is not enough time to a lot to picking up something from geek squad. This has been one of the worse buying experiences of my life. I purchased a tv and paid approximately $250.00 for installation. Every day for a week I awaited delivery and every day it was changed to "tomorrow " . The last time the tv was to be delivered , the installation was scheduled before the actual delivery!!! And then, without explanation, they changed the delivery date yet again to "Saturday ", at which time I called and cancelled the entire transaction. I don't know how they continue to exist. My problem with this store is that nobody here actually knows how to work in sales. That's what you need to do.... Sell. That also includes knowing products within the company that you work for. I recently purchased a Sony 65 inch Bravia television. I have been a Best Buy Total Customer since 2017, but never again. Phoned Wesley Chapel store and told they didn't have one in stock but could view at the Brandon store. Drove to Brandon but they didn't have one on display after all. The clerk showed me a similar one so I decided to purchase and it was to be delivered on 11/12. Waited all day past the appointment time; crew showed up at 6:30 pm. Rushed, spoke in angry tones between themselves and finally had it working through my receiver. The technician (though we had language difficulties communicating) showed me the steps to follow using my Harmony remote to access the receiver. They left and the steps only work occasionally; I didn't believe it was hooked up correctly. Asked for a second appointment to correct the problems. Waited all day yesterday for the technicians, supposed to arrive between 11-3. Called Manada (subcontractor for Geek Squad?) at 4:30 and assured team would call back. No calls and no show. At 6:30 Jocabed, Customer Service agent called to reschedule the appointment indicating I would have to pay after she clarified the problems I was having. I asked to speak to a manager; no call back. Contacted the store today who referred me to Home Services at Central Best Buy number. John, with whom I spoke, offered to reschedule the appointment but said it would cost another $129. to send out a technician to resolve the problem. I said no thanks! I am livid and will not only never buy another thing from Best Buy (made three significant purchases in the past year) but will never ever work with Best Buy again! We had had good experience over the past decade with Geek Squad technician Rafael Candell who knew what he was doing and had our system working perfectly with our old tv. Shoppers beware, you will leave here irritated, regardless of what it is you're trying to do. -Customer service is terrible -Wait times are terrible -Inventory is terrible -Price bait & switch is the norm And then if you don't buy the Best Buy $200 service plan they won't even speak to you about a problem with your product, even if you bought it two days prior. I really hate this store. Don't say that about many places EVER, but the service is awful, many employees are rude, speak over you, need serious listening skill training. The last THREE times I visited, for small purchases, including today, Checkout was again closed. No sign ANYWHERE as to where to actually PAY for an item? Nearby are signs for Pickup, Repairs, Customer Service. Not many people LOOK like they are checking out, so no reason to assume? A SIGN would be nice. I stood in the middle section where two service women were speaking to each other. One made eye contact. At least 4-5 minutes later no one had said a word. Lane to my left clearly had a woman dealing with gift cards. To my right, repairs clearly being discussed. I waited a bit more and finally said, "Could SOMEONE tell me where to make a purchase?!" One woman in front of me said "this is where. Someone will help you soon." I am going through very hard time with the store team in Wesley Chapel. We have applied for best buy rewards card to purchase the Projector online and it was shipped very fast and when it delivered i noticed that its very light weight and look like the item is not packed properly inside. Immediately, I have informed to the customer care team and they told we will order another item to Wesley Chapel store to swap the product and they asked to enter my other credit card details to place the order as there is no credit limit on my best buy card. So, i gave my other card details and they placed the order. I went to store to swap the product and while return back to home i got a call from store that they opened the box and there was a lower version of product in the box and they are going to charge double and i rushed to store immediately. by the time i reached the store they charged my credit card twice for the product they placed for 2nd time and i got fed-up with the behaver of the team and returned both of them (One time charged on BestBuy card, 2 times charged on my other card) . But, They made this very complicated and now fighting for my 3 refunds from last one week. no proper response from them. I returned the box which was delivered from online (1st order) without opening it and accepted by store and now facing lot of pressure to get these refund. read more

Consistently with previous reviews, if you want assistance in store or purchase anything and expect it delivered on time or at the agreed upon time, guess again. My order was set to be delivered between an agreed upon set of hours, yet the delivery team provided Best Buy with a total other set of hours, different from the original sent via text. Best Buy couldn't do much of anything as they "outsource" their deliveries and installation so I was made to decide to wait even longer for my purchase or cancel. Each time it was always a smooth process, staff was very helpful, although you have to find someone to help you as everyone is keeping busy with stocking or helping other customers. Drove 35 minutes to this Best Buy and purchased 2 PlayStation 5 controllers. There were used and the manager himself assured me they were in top condition. Go home and one doesn't work, I have an associate tell me to go pick out a controller telling me I won't be charged the difference due to driving half an hour there. I come back and the manager chargers me the difference, terrible customer experience, must be a new manager since it is apparent he lacks the skill,experience, or intellect to make the customer happy. Starting off by saying that this is my hubs favorite store, not really mine. If we go, it's because he's in the market for something. We came into this location as we were in the area and he wanted to look for a new dash cam for my car. Well, he found one and it works great! They offered to install, however he just did it himself and it looks great in the car. Typically if he's planning a trip to here, I'll go into another store to kill the time LOL. This store is set up a bit different than the one that we typically shop at in Citrus Park but overall, it's a nice store. They are requiring masks. Terrible experience. My 80 year old father who is blind and has Parkinson's Disease came in requesting help with his older cell phone, which is the only model of phone his disability allows him to use. He had a replacement new phone ready and merely wanted to help to put in the battery and explain location of sim in old phone in order to better explain this to his cell service provider and to transfer contacts. Geek squad staff refused stating that if they broke his device he might sue them. The phone is his lifeline and he already had the new replacement and just requested help inserting battery so new contacts could be transferred, something another Best Buy had done two times in previous visits with no problem. It is such a simple device to open unless you are laboring under a disability, which he is. It was offered to sign a waiver of liability, but help was still refused. It was blatantly discriminatory against people with disabilities. Another Best Buy in his home state had previously gone above and beyond for him on multiple occasions. I will not name that location in case corporate punishes their staff for doing the right thing. He had in mind to make some other small purchases, but left the store utterly dejected and shamed. Neither he nor any other members of my family will ever be purchasing any items from Best Buy again because of this cold, discriminatory and just plain cruel experience with personnel at this particular Best Buy. This discriminatory experience with Best Buy has now been shared with state and federal organizations for the blind. read more

Went there looking for a specific item, walked around aimlessly for a good 15 minutes. Nobody asked if I needed help so I went up to a group of employees huddled around a register and asked if one could help. I asked where I could find what I was looking for and one pointed and said "it's probably over there somewhere" I turned and looked then said "that side of the store" he just said "yep over there somewhere". So I walked to that side of the store and asked someone else and they told me that they were probably out, I asked "probably out or actually out"? They said "probably" and I should just look online, I left and looked online, there it was on Amazon so I bought it there. When I stopped by last to pick up something, I was greeted by what I can only describe as the nicest cashier I have ever met in my life. I purchased a TV on 12/8/23 for my granddaughter for Christmas. The TV was being delivered on 12/9/23. I received a text message that the order was being returned because the customer refused it. Well, the customer did not refuse it. I called the Best Buy help center and was ASSURED that the TV would be delivered by 8pm that night. When the TV was not delivered, I started a chat work customer service who then DISCONNECTED the chat. I called customer service and was told that my order was sent back to the warehouse and that I would have to wait ten business to get my money back. I tried to explain to them that I didn't want my money back to just deliver the TV to my granddaughter. They told me that they couldn't even though it was a MISTAKE on the delivery service end. I was so disappointed. Not only do I have to wait until after Christmas to get my money back, my granddaughter will not have the gift she asked for for Christmas. Best Buy, you're the real. GRINCH!! Welcome back to my list of stores I will not shop at again. I took 10 year and a lot of convincing from friend who managed a Best Buy to get me to shop there again. Lies is the quickest way to get on my bad side. The truth no matter what it is keep everyone on my good side. This is such a awesome store I love computer hardware and I went to Best Buy, I found a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 And Why is it expensive?
