This store needs to be closed down. I went there and they tried to tell me at first they can't help me because I have metro with T-Mobile not T-Mobile. (I had T-Mobile NOT metro by T-Mobile) After that was settled I was trying to get my dad a pixel 10a since he was due for an upgrade. They told me It would be 75$ today and 36$ a month which is way different than ordering it online. Online the same exact phone is only 20$ a month with the same 75$ due today. They told me that the promotion I was looking at was expired but I put the phone in my cart while I was standing there. It doesn't expire in 1 minute lol. Needless to say I walked out and ordered the phone online and it cost me 75$ down payment and my bill only went up 20$ per month. I have no idea what they have going on up there but they will double the price of your phone if you don't know your stuff. Everyone who goes here be very very careful. read more

This store is alway the worst. The employees have no personality. We just came in to try and get a phone replaced due to it being broke. The male employee told us to just go online and replace it through the website. The female employee was on the phone with her mom getting internet set up. We were basically bothering them by being there. read more

Brought my father here since he had phone issues. Screen would not turn on even though the notifications could be heard. We were the only customers. The one staff member advised that they couldn't help. That we'd have to call to file a claim and then could take to another location that has the service department. Told us that we could go to their Citrus Park location for help. I asked if he could call them to ensure they could help. He called and then told us yes. We proceeded there only to be told they couldn't help unless we had a claim filed. The service at all these locations is just not that great. read more

Went to get my telephone. The guy assisting me was coughing and sneezing all over the place, touching everything. He brought out my telephone while talking on his phone ask me to pay. I said I had some questions he said he was busy talking right now. I left without getting my telephone. read more

My wife and I recently changed mobile phone vendors after receiving a mailing from T-Mobile advertising a 50% savings in our rate with the same benefits. We expected that it would be a hassle to make the change since we needed to contact our previous vendor for our account information. We went to the T-Mobile office in Lutz near the corner of N Dale Mabry Hwy and Van Dyke Rd and, after a brief wait for our turn, spoke to the manager, Chris. He handled the transfer from installing the new sim cards, to placing the call to our previous vendor, to completing the transaction. We spoke to the representative from our former vendor and requested the required information, which he provided courteously and promptly. Chris then completed the transaction, and we were on our way. We highly recommend this T-Mobile office and the professional staff. This was a very easy transition. read more

We walked in at 12 pm on a Tuesday and left at 12:30! The most efficient phone store I have ever walked into! The employees were very friendly and super helpful! I think the lady that helped us was named Claira or something along those lines and she was AMAZING. Seriously she was so fast and gave us all the information that we needed! I was so excited when this store opened because it was only three miles straight down Van Dyke Farms. But after two visits my excitement has turned to dread and I'm NEVER, I repeat, NEVER goning back to that store. There is a store in Northdale that would get a six star rating out of five and one a little south of that on Dale Mabry that although is always busy, if you're willing to wait you'll get decent and correct service. Even Citurs Park can fill your needs but stay out of the Van Dyke Store and let me tell you why. One time I went in there and bought a screen protector. The 10 dollar an hour person put it on my phone even when they had no idea how. And of course screwed it up and ruined the very product I just bought. So they had to order another one. And yes they said they would call me. And of course they did not. And of course I had to keep calling them until one time I did and they said it arrived two days ago. And that was the manager who said they would call me. Then there was the time I went in there and waited and waited - about four minutes worth for the staff to take care of THREE people. When I finally got my turn the person was friendly but had no idea how to handle the issue. That is the crux of why you need to stay out of that store. They are a NIGHTMARE. The manager has NO IDEA how to train her people. She herself knows just about anything, but lacks in follow up. Which quite frankly, is probably the reason her people are not trained. I go the the store in Northdale, which is twice the drive time, but I NEVER have these proplems in the that store. I would really stay out of this store until T-Mobile gets the picture that there's a problem here and replaces the management and replaces her with someone who knows how and is willing to correctly trainer the staff. read more

I have been to this store several times in the past week to upgrade my daughter's phones. It is clear that the store manager, Dimitri, and his whole staff enjoy working there. They are friendly and knowledgable and helped me get the best deal possible for two iPhone 12s. No matter who I dealt with, it was a positive experience. I always find upgrading to be a complicated process but they made it very easy and helped me every step of the way to make sure they were set up correctly. Jensen and Ravi deserve a raise!! Their customer service was by far the best I have experienced ANYWHERE!! Super nice and went above and beyond. They knew every answer to each question I had and made my overall experience here awesome! Not pushy whatsoever and HONEST! Which I love most when I'm spending money.
