After reading the reviews, I called Best Carpet Cleaning to clean my carpets and couldn't be more disappointed. When I spoke with George, I explained that I had a living room, 3 bedrooms and a hall to clean and that there were heavy pet stains, He assured me that he could help I also told George that I couldn't be at the house but that I would have someone there to let him in and pay him for his services. He was in my home for about a hour and a half, didn't clean any of the bedrooms, and left stains on my carpet that I had to clean myself with a spot cleaner and a shop-vac. All of the pet-stains were back within 2 hours. He left 7 hours ago and my carpets aren't clean but still wet. He was paid but didn't do the job we agreed upon and I think that he took advantage of the fact that I couldn't be there. I called to get an estimate and set a mutual time to meet at the house. They called to let me know they're on the way and we discussed the pros and cons of various levels of services. They gave me a fair price when I settled on what I really needed and nothing more. They arrived on time and ready to work. This company was my second choice to clean my carpets but after the first company failed miserably to show up I decide to give them a call. I called them on a Wednesday afternoon no one picked up the phone but then five minutes later they called me back. I discussed with the person on the phone how many rooms I needed cleaned and they gave me an estimate of roughly $115. They said they would be there on Friday around 12 -1230 and call before. Come Friday they call right around 1145 and show up 15 minutes later. They were here for about an hour and a half and cleaned three bedrooms and a hallway. After they were done they gave me spare booties to wear if I need to get on the carpet because it would be drying for the next three hours. I briefly looked back and saw that the carpet looked very clean. A couple hours later I decided to look at the rest I couldn't believe how great of a job they did. I had some major pet stains and they got them all out. The carpet looks brand-new. This company is very professional and very timely. I really appreciated that how quickly they were able to make an appointment and then how well they did. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! read more

I live in San Diego and have a rental in Bakersfield so it is important to me to find a reliable, honest and communicative carpet cleaners to work with and with a price I felt was fair. George's Best Carpet Cleaning was just that! They were very communicative with me and when there was an issue of pet stains from the past owner they called to let me know before they continued. Afterwards before the carpets were dry my new tenant stopped by to check it all out and found some areas where the carpet was rippled. I called them and they were right on it. Juan explained that older carpets can do that but it should shrink back. But offered to come look at it with the new renter. Like he said everything was just about back to normal and all is well. An appointment was booked days in advance. They did not show up at the time set up. I had to take time off of work to be at the appointment on time. I waited at home for an hour before I called upset. They showed up an hour an half later (30 min after my call). They show up at the door and no apologies, no explanations. I told them I called another business (by the way they showed up same day and gave me a discount for this business's bad service). When I advised them I had gone with someone else they said "ok" and left. Safe to say I don't recommend. read more
