Interesting place. We were in town for a couples getaway and did not have the foresight to book ahead at any 5 star establishments. We called on Saturday afternoon and were told we could get in for a couples massage whenever we would like that day. (That should have been the first red flag) The reviews on yelp were highly recommend so we decided to give it a try. We didn't need glitz and glam. 120 for 60 min. couples massage. When we arrived, we were greeted by a woman who did not speak English, which was fine, but she made me speak on the phone to someone to clarify what we wanted. Again, a 60 min. couples massage. The room was small, the beds were not beds, but maybe some sort of card/hard table? No warmer --- the rooms were freezing and we were covered with just a thin sheet. The massage itself, was interesting. My husband said he was happy with his. The massage therapist rubbed my ear lobes for 5 minutes, cracked my back, cracked my fingers. Overall, okay --- but felt amateur. After the massage was over and we were left scratching our heads as to what we had just paid for, not relaxed, getting dressed in a cold room --- I was instructed I needed to speak to someone on the phone again. The person on the phone asked me if I liked my massage and instructed me to give a good yelp review. In return, I would get a discount on my next massage. Explains the yelp reviews. Avoid. This place is a good find if you know how to navigate it. You come in and your therapist will call the owner who speaks english. When she asks if you want herbal lotion, say NO. It's basically icy hot/tiger balm. It makes you FREEZING. It's also $25 extra. Sophia gave a good massage BUT it was SO COLD IN THERE. So I couldn't enjoy it. She was sweet and put three or four towels over me when she saw I was tense and covered in goosebumps, but I paid $130 for a pretty unpleasant experience. I would go back, maybe, but I definitely wouldn't get that herbal stuff, and I would keep it to an hour. No matter what happens, if your therapist is respectful and makes an effort, tip. read more

I wanted the Swedish massage which is the gentle one since the last few massages I've had from elements massage hurt allot. My husband barely touched my back and I shouted with pain. Previously I had posted a 5 star review, but now I'm changing that. I was here with Amy last time and it was WONDERFUL. I called and asked if Amy was working. They said yes. I booked a time for Amy. Since the employees don't speak much English, they have you talk to someone on the phone who translates and I got there and told the translator I'm there for Amy. Um, the employee was NOT Amy. They said yes it is! I was so uncomfortable I just let it happen. At the end the translator asked me how my massage was with Summer. WTF? I called her out on it and she played dumb like who is Amy as if I didn't verify not 3 but 4 times that I would get Amy. Felt sketchy from the start. I really enjoyed my massage with Sara. She was firm and made me comfortable. This place is reasonably priced for a 1 hour massage. Don't expect an environment like massage envy, this is a local owned establishment and you may need to speak with a translator before you start your services. The negative reviews are clearly from people who take issue with language barriers. It smelled of lotion and candles. There is a restaurant next door so maybe that explains some others complaints about a food smell. Everyone who works there is friendly and just wants to make sure you enjoy your massage. If you have an iphone, you can also use the translator app and to easily communicate with the staff. read more

I don't recommend this massage parlor at all. I called ahead for a reservation for a 90-minute massage at 7pm on a Sunday. Upon arrival, I was immediately asked by my massage therapist (if I could give her that generous of a title) if I had cash to pay with. I said that I only had credit card. The massage therapist looked at me as though I had offended her. She said cash would be better because it is better for her finances. Looking back, at this point I should have left, but I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. (everyone should get a get out of jail free card, right?) I have had several dozen massages over the years from both boutique and corporate massage parlors. This is the worst massage I have ever regrettably paid for. I got shown to my room and then my massage therapist asked for the second time if I could pay with cash. I actually apologized to her that I didn't have cash. Think about this, I'm paying to get a massage and I am apologizing. After I told her I was unable to pay with credit card (which the front of their door very plainly says they take) she left the room and spoke angrily to her co-worker/boss in a language I don't speak. Their voices grew louder over about two minutes... so much for the peaceful ambiance of getting a massage. The massage was below average. The therapist was obviously upset and was going through the motions as if she didn't care. Rough handling, scratches from fingernails, and an overall apathetic attempt. I felt as though I was an inconvenience being there. To top it off, I had called for a 90 minute massage well during business hours. At one hour in, she asked me if we could be finished. I was speechless, but honestly happy that I didn't have to stay in that awkward situation any longer. Overall, I don't recommend this business. I have read nicer reviews previously. Is this business under new ownership? I have no idea what happened this evening, but I was looking forward to a good massage, and left feeling very disappointed. If this is the average experience of a client, this business will soon be a memory. There HAVE to be better places to get a massage out there. Don't waste your money on this one. read more

Worst money I have spent in my life. I went in because my back was sore, picked the relaxing massage. I arrived and nobody could speak English. The place smells like food. They climbed on top of me and massaged me with their knees and feet. So much pressure was used that it was painful, I asked for them to be softer and nothing changed. She left the room 4 times and just chatted with someone outside the door. I left with my back hurting worse, and my neck and shoulders in pain as well. This has to be the worst place for a massage. I can't even say its mediocre. I came here with my sister. The gal that did my massage was terrible. it almost felt like she was "winging" it. My sister seemed to have gotten the better of the 2 gals that were there. They even took my credit card and charged it before I even stepped inside the room. I have been going to Best Choice monthly (or a little more) for the last 6+ months after my regular therapist moved away. The OK: the building isn't fancy, but it is clean. It's somewhat out of the way. The Great: I have seen 2 therapists, Michelle and Suzana, and both are WONDERFUL. If you want the deepest deep tissue, I would probably recommend Michelle - she is small but incredibly strong, and does wonders with back-walking assisted by ceiling rails. I tend to prefer mostly deep tissue massages. Suzana is also great - perhaps doesn't get quite as deep, but is very intuitive and also does back walking. I almost always get 2 hour massages, and neither of them gets the least bit tired. I highly recommend this place. I cannot comment on other therapists, but Michelle and Suzana are top notch and I recommend without hesitation. read more

My wife and I did a spur-of-the-moment couples massage here, and only because two other more highly ranked places nearby were booked. First - strip mall location. The front waiting area was nice looking, but someone there was eating seafood or something that permeated the air. We were immediately taken to a small room with two massage tables. I don't think it was intended for two - there were times during the massage that my leg or arm actually touched the wall. That said, the massage was very good and relaxing. I asked for deep tissue, and got a Swedish / Thai massage combination that was great. She stretched my limbs (several joints popped, including my back - a sign of a good massage to me). She walked on my back, and used her feet to dig into knots. She also used her knees and elbows to dig in well on my back and legs. I should have gotten her name, but didn't. My wife didn't get the back treatment that I did, but she really liked her massage too. I don't know if I'd do another couples massage here, but would consider it if I could get my therapist again. We were both very relaxed afterwards and felt great! read more

This place seems like a front for other business and its employees are called in an not paid via credit card tips, so bring cash! My friend and I told them we were first time customers and agreed upfront that the price was $50, but they charged us each $60 and the owner refused to refund and stated we would be leaving a $10 tip. In the tip on the receipt we put $0 and the massage therapists looked very sad, so my friend and I knew that they were not going to receive any tip. Honestly this place seemed like it was part of a larger trafficking issue due to the work circumstances of its employees. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. read more

This was my first time ever getting a massage and I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but was hoping to be able to ask questions or have my massage therapist explain some things to me. When I arrived for my appointment, the massage therapist (who never gave me her name) spoke very little English and we were not able to understand each other well. She called her boss so that I could talk to her in English and then basically proceeded to say "clothes off" and point at some hooks on the wall. The massage was good and professional, but as someone who experiences anxiety, especially when encountering new situations, I felt very tense and uncomfortable not knowing what to expect next and not being able to really communicate with or understand my massage therapist. Was searching for a place to get a couples massage for my birthday same day, this place was easy to make an appointment online. Decent price and they did a good job, I feel relaxed and she also stretched me out while she massaged me which I liked a lot. Not sure if they have traditional training but there is still skills they have. There was a language barrier but they had someone to translate on a cell phone so it really wasn't a problem. The room was a little small for two beds but they made it work. I'd just suggest clean pillowcases for the pillows instead of towels. I would return again though. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! After a really traumatic week my husband and I wanted to have a couples massage to try to unwind. His massage was mediocre at best, whereas my massage was hands down the worst and painful experience I have ever had. First of all, if you are a contortionist you will do just fine here. I on the other hand am not, and the lady just about made me into a human pretzel. If her goal was to dislocate my hips and shoulders, she just about succeeded. The goal was relaxation, but this made me so tense and stressed the entire hour. I was literally counting down the minutes to when I could leave. I almost threw in the towel about four times to leave early. I started off under the sheet and was fairly covered for the first 20 minutes of the massage. She lowered the sheet to get to my back, which was totally fine and normal, no problem there. However, the sheet kept getting more and more bunched in the middle that it left me only barely covered. Then she moved my legs in really awkward positions which left me totally exposed due to the lack of coverage. At one point I had one leg bend at at 45 degree angle and my hips pushed towards my shoulders, with no sheet to cover anything. As we were getting dressed I told my husband how absolutely painful the massage was, and we tried to just pay and leave as fast as we could. Even though my entire body hurt, my husband still left them a tip for their service. The tip was very gracious, considering the fact that I will need to go to the chiropractor and get my appendages back in their proper locations. The lady running our credit card did not like how much of a tip was given (we gave 25%) and proceeded to try to get my husband to shell out for more. So please, do NOT come here. read more

First experience here was a great one. I was a last minute walk-in after I had searched all day for a massage location to visit. The price was reasonable and I was relieved of pain that I was having. The second time was completely different. As last time, I was a walk-in and was taken in almost immediately. This time the masseuse that assisted me had no clue what she was doing. I don't think she was even qualified to give massages, I'm almost positive she was just the receptionist. I was definitely disappointed as I was really expecting to get that same experience as I did the first time. I suffer from a lot of muscle pain and I look towards massages to help relieve the pain I experience. Completely disappointed in this location and definitely regret spending 60 dollars for nothing. I spoke to what I believe is the manager at the end of my massage and was offered 10 dollars off the next time I visit. Loud- people yelling, on their phone, coming in and out of the room. I didn't not get the name of who worked on me but she came in and out of the room at least 10 times during the massage and twice, someone else came into the room to talk to her and another time, they shouted through the door. She took a phone call during my massage and was yelling quite loud. Two other customers must have had similar experiences because I heard them complaining in the lobby. If I could give one start I would. Called and they got us in right away. Got there, the lady greeted us but it smelt like a reptile pet store. The ceiling tiles were warped and moldy. Then we get into the couples massage room. Where the sheet was see through. Okay I know I'm complaining here but it gets worse. My lady NEVER focused on my shoulders and neck as hard as I tried to point and ask the other lady in the room (who spoke English) to tell my lady to massage my shoulders and neck! She continued to rub my lower back to the point it was raw and starting to tingle. That's when I moved and said please stop rubbing there. Then she went out of the room for literally 3 minutes (i picked my head up and looked at the clock). Remind you this is a 1 hour couples massage. I just paid you $110 for... where the heck are you?! She comes back in and proceeded to massage my calves which she moved to my inner knee and it hurt so bad, despite how many times I said OUCH! Or STOP! To the point I started to tear up. My husband finally lifted his head and said are you okay? I said no. They ended up doing what felt like 2 minutes on my neck and left!... that was it! $110 for TORTURE!!!! When my husband got up he apparently paid 10$ extra for "special pain relieve oil" which gave him dermatitis... later needing benedril! Now we are living with multiple bruises and such chapped skin that any movements makes our skin feel itchy and tight! This place was TERRIBLE!
