This was probably the worst reflexology I've gotten in the city. My daughter and I stopped by after a long day of shopping. They weren't busy so they accepted us as walk-ins. We both agreed that we should have saved the money and gone somewhere else. The lady who did my reflexology didn't use much pressure, moved way too fast, used the same repetitive motion, and stayed in the same area the whole time. Same for my daughter, except her pressure was fine. The man in the chair across from us was snoring so his must have been great. Overall we left and our feet were still tired and sore. Horrible service. I tipped 20% on two 90 minute massages which was a $40 tip. The employee looked at the money disapprovingly and then looked at me and rudely said most people leave 30 or.......she mumbled something and then said something unintelligibly. The whole time the customers in the waiting area heard this conversation. How embarrassing it was to have this lady berate my tipping. Furthermore, it is a tip.....I'm not supplementing the masseuses wages. Maybe the cheap-ass employer should pay their employees more so they get paid by the employer, instead of me. read more

I've never written a poor review before and have come to this location before, even referred people here. Booked a 60 minute full body massage and the guy massaging me was terrible, just put pressure on my muscles - no actual massaging took place. I asked towards the end of the massage if the full body included feet, he told me no and I then asked if I could add 10 minutes for my feet - which I intended to pay for. The place was empty. He proceeded to stand up, yell at me and then stormed off. I felt so extremely uncomfortable that when someone else came over to finish, I asked them not to finish just so I could get out of there. I have referred this place to friends before but not only will I not be back, I will never refer anyone here again. Paying $70 to get yelled at and feel extremely uncomfortable wasn't on my bingo card when I booked this experience. read more

Best Day Massage has become an after work spot for me to hit after a long day or week. They are located off Mallory Lane in small shopping center that also features Five Guys and Papa John's. Parking is ample and never an issue. I have received a few variety of massages here from a 60 minute foot/clothes back to a 60 and 90 minute full body massage. Reservations are not a must, but are recommended for full body massages as they have limited rooms available. For foot or chair massages, there never seems to be a wait. While all the massages have been excellent, my only issue is the noise during the massage. Even during the closed door sessions, I have dealt with the workers opening the doors and talking to each other in the middle of massaging, which completely takes me out of the relaxing zone. The same happens for the foot massages, which happen in an open room. I am used to foot massages happening in shared spaces, but the rooms are usually separated from the front door or have some division created with curtains...unfortunately here it is a wide open space with no separation along with the front door in the same space. Again, all of this lends itself to relaxation interruptions during your session. Overall, the massages are normally spot on, pressure is as needed and they will even walk around on your back if you'd like! For a simple after work wind down massage, this place is a good option. For full blown relaxation, probably not the best of choices. With both of those being said, I will certainly be back. read more

Never massaged my arms and just lightly moved around here and there with no pressure in the least. The massage I received the other day could easily shut down this entire place. The first half of my massage was uneventful, until I woke up to my arms being pulled behind me in a very uncomfortable way. The masseuse then proceeded to pull one leg in the air and press down on my pubic bone??? Wildly inappropriate and uncomfortable, all while hardly draping the sheet. I was so shocked.. Take 2: Yes its my 2nd time back. And no nothing happy happened this time around. The massage was all elbows. The medium pressure was very much so relevant. My massues was a bit flirty. She lightly tapped my bum a few times. Ambiance and noise: relaxing music. Noise wise I could hear all the conversations. I do think a few minutes were wasted here and there every time she went out to get the oil and the towels. Im not going to say I will come back as I've already broken my "only once rule"... The staff was very attentive and kind, and Liz was fantastic, truly one of the best massages I've ever had. I suffer from migraines which causes muscle tightness in the neck and upper back that can linger a few days after an attack. I walked out of my massage feeling 100% better! I keep giving this place a chance because the massage itself is usually amazing. But as I have seen others write, they talk loud and often throughout the massage. It is not just talking to each other then you have the customers that come in and decide to talk like they're at a sporting event instead of at a spa. Maybe I tried them on an off day but I made an appointment for Mother's Day for a 30 min foot massage. They asked me 3 times if I had an appointment. I said yes each time. Then they tried to up-sell me to one- hour long services, which I didn't want. I offered to leave if it was a problem. Everything started to settle down and they started my massage. I've been here several times. I usually just walk in and love not having to make a reservation. They were so busy one night that I had to change what I wanted, since I didn't reserve though...it's life! Overall, I have had really good experiences. The masseuses usually know where to massage...just tell them if they need to go softer or harder. I will say I had a disappointing experience the last time I was there. The lady gave me a hard time (laughing and making comments that it should be a 60min massage for the reclining chair) because I wanted a 30min chair massage in the reclining chairs. She said I had to use the 'airport' massage chair...no thank you, I would have gone to the mall or airport if I wanted to use them. :) Any chair massage I've ever gotten has been in the reclining chairs, so I didn't understand why she wanted to change it. She ended up allowing my massage to be in the reclining chairs and I ended up changing it to an hour anyway for both of us. read more

Something's happened to this place's quality. We're not local to the area but when we visit Franklin, I make an appointment for two of us for 90 minutes. We were recently in on 9/6. We had the equivalent of a marshmallow quality massage even when we both asked for more pressure, we were ignored -the massage was lousy. $200 wasted. Not only that but we were shortened by a good ten minutes of the 90 minutes. Sad to say, we won't return. read more

My wife and I had bad experience with this place. We had booked couples massage and both our masseuses were terrible. It seemed they were least interested in massage. Both of them were having conversations in Mandarin most of the time during our massage and they didn't apply any pressure while massaging. Had a headache today and stopped in to see if they had time for a walk in chair massage. Being from out of town, I relied on other Yelp reviews and took a chance. It was fortunate they had availability. Several people walked in while I was there. I started with a 40 minute chair massage. I extended my time to 60 minutes. I have chronic Migraine, back and neck issues. I asked that the massage therapist focus on my neck and upper back. Mark listened and he asked if the pressure was too much or too little. I prefer deep tissue and a massage therapist who knows where the pressure points are. I would say his pressure was really great (almost too much at some points, but it's my personal choice to have more pressure than less--I hate paying for a massage -- asking for deep tissue and getting no pressure.) I also liked that they have the option for the open table area where they are able to massage you and you don't have to go into a room and change and get under a sheet for many reasons. 1. I hate being cold. 2. It saves time. 3. I got an equal massage or I would say better massage than I've gotten from other therapists (independent, at my chiropractor or at a shop like this.), clothes were not a hinderance. I would highly recommend Best Day Massage to anyone who happens to be in the Franklin, TN area. read more

I visited Best Day based on the reviews. Walking in, I was surprised at how visibly dirty the waiting room and massage area was. My massage therapist was thoughtful in his approach, but several things limited my experience: * The massage table had linens that appeared old and yellowed * The sheet I was given was short and very yellowed * The therapist pulled a blanket from the floor to cover my legs * The headrest had a paper towel over it - not comfortable on my face * The therapist had a very strong garlic smell on his breath that was difficult to smell first thing in the morning (he did use gum to try and mask the garlic) *When I went to check out, I offered my card and one of the people (possibly the owner?) said, "You have cash?" after I had offered my card. No where did I see that cash was required. I motioned for the other person to continue with my card transaction and the lady again said, "You don't have cash?". read more

I've been in twice now for foot reflexology massage. The massages themselves have been great but the atmosphere isn't the best. First there's a definite smell when you walk in and it's not a super pleasant one. Then the bathroom is basically in the storage room which would be fine but it's pretty gross back there. The most disappointing thing is that the workers talk to each other during the massages! It's happened both times I've been there and it makes it hard to relax.
