Alterations were sloppy, rushed, and looked like no real care was put into them. On top of that, clothes weren't even properly ironed--wrinkled and unfinished like they didn't even try. If you value your time, money, and clothes, avoid this place. There are way better options out there. This was a complete waste of time and I won't be coming back.

I was charged $6.95 for it which was good My gripe is with the $10 minimum purchase requirement for card usage. Of course my purchase was not $10 and I did not have cash on me so I had to come back another day. It is 2018 this is very annoying and an inconvenient for your customers. I understand you do not want to pay whatever fee or percentage card usage requires but this is unacceptable. Also it states that they do wedding alterations. When I inquired about it I could not get a straight answer. First, I was told it would be very expensive and stated I understood that and then I was told the person was out indefinitely. Then it was they could do it but i would have to go to their home and then the answer changed again and I was told they won't be doing it for awhile. I won't be back.

I have cleaned similar down jackets at other dry cleaners in a different state with excellent results. Branded jackets always come with proper care instructions, which were clearly not followed here. WARNING: Horrible Prom Dress Alterations!!!…read more I took my daughter's one-of-a-kind prom dress to Center Square Cleaners by accident and it was a horrible mistake. I thought CSC was Sarah Dressmaker but they are clearly not and they are inept at formal dress alterations, not to mention, they are egregiously overpriced. FIRST VISIT: I entered CSC thinking it was Sarah Dressmaker. It wasn't until my daughter had her dress on and the safety pins were marking the required alteration that I inquired about the business name. The woman told me Sarah Dressmaker was located behind CSC but assured me that she does many formal gown and prom dress alterations. My daughter's dress had one opaque layer and three layers of sheer tulle that required hemming. Total cost: $175. I was shocked at the price for this alteration but I thought that was the going rate. It wasn't until I called Sarah Dressmaker on the way home and asked her for a price to hem a four layer prom dress...her cost was between $60-100. SECOND VISIT: I returned to CSC one week later to pick up the dress. I wanted to be sure the hem was perfect before I left so I had my daughter try the dress on. I was horrified to see so many jagged, uneven edges that looked like a child cut the dress. The woman took a pair of scissors to the tulle in an attempt to correct the mess. There was also white chalk on the tulle that was never removed. I was told that they would fix the dress if I could leave it overnight. Before leaving, I inquired about the exorbitant cost for what was a extremely sub-par alteration. The owner said her prices are her prices and she doesn't price according to other cleaners. I asked two other cleaners in the area what they would charge for the same alteration and the highest price was $120. I asked the owner if she would reduce the price since I had to come back multiple times but she refused. Instead, she offered to make my daughter a mask using the extra material that was cut from the dress. She said she would only charge me $10 for this mask - this was supposed to be a significantly discount - but she failed to realized that there was a sign hanging in her store advertising custom special masks for $10. THIRD VISIT: I returned the following day to pick up the dress without my daughter. I was told everything was perfect but once I got home I noticed more jagged edges. I will never return to CSC!!!

Dry cleaning is decent but nothing above mediocre. The alterations are an absolute nightmare!! I cannot warn you enough to save yourself time and energy please don't use their services. Long story short- took two dresses to be altered. One needed the straps taken up and the other needed the hem taken up. When I dropped off I asked if it could be done by a specific time and they promised it would. Well what do you know, right as I am on my way to pick up they call and say they left the dress at "home". Seriously? I told them I needed it that day for a wedding. So I wait the extra couple of hours and go get my dresses. First dress that they took the straps off they totally butchered and made if WAY too short and it was not done as we measured, they also took a short cut and cut the straps instead of the normal tuck under so the dress is ruined. This beautiful dress can no longer be worn. Second dress, which cost me a lot to TAKE THE HEM up was a shotty job- rips frays and all. Take a look at the pictures and tell me you think this is a decent quality hem. Seriously cannot believe I trusted them with this simple job. I could have done a better job. Worse part of the whole experience was the owners nwphew who was the only one working told me there was nothing they can do. He didn't even look like he cared. It was unbelievable how bad the customer service was and how they didn't care. The owner didn't care either. When I dropped it off they happily took it, along with a few other high end items. A few days later I received a phone call from the store, they let me know that they wanted to send the out to their leather specialist in New Jersey. Due to the quality of the leather and the work it needed. I truly appreciated the communication and honesty. I think this just goes to show how trust worthy they are and how much they care about their work. My other items came back just as I asked for. The jacket came back in almost new condition and the color couldn't have been more white.

My wife took in a pair of pants for alterations, and was charged $20 and told to come back at a specific date and time. When she went back, the lady gave her the clothing back, and there was a $5 bill taped to the hanger. She handed it to my wife, and said that the job was easier than she thought (It was a special material, and she thought it might be hard to work with).
