My German shepherd has never been professionally groomed before so I was extremely nervous and cautious about having him groomed / deshedded for the first time outside of our own home. Suds and Scissors did a fantastic job with trimming his nails, bathing, and desheding him. His coat hasn't looked this well since he was a puppy, at home grooming solutions just weren't cutting it. As you can see on her chest, I have no idea what they did. There's a big section cut real short and then they didn't even try to even out the rest of the hair to make it look better. They just covered it with a scarf. when I got home and started looking at the dog, I saw the place on her chest, so I called to inquire what happened and the Groomer just screamed at me telling me that I had a bad attitude and I must be on drugs and that he didn't know what happened to the dog after I left there. I have a 3 year old former ( we just bought him from the breeder 6 months ago) Maltese 6 pounds who was a show dog. Dede is a hard working dedicated gracious person who JUST left her lease at this location and now works out 0f a full salon she built in her home's backyard . She is hard to get in touch with-- best is to keep calling her until she picks up the phone. I have a very specific look ONLY on the head and despite photos and careful discussion, she is not able to envision nor copy. She does several very basic cuts and she does them well. The simpler the directions, the better. What she does is clean, neat and well done. I have attached a photo of what the dog's breeder cut, and then Dede's interpretation done today. Dede no longer has her credit card machine, and takes cash checks ( and now working from home so zero rent).
