We didn't see Dr. Iffa on this visit but (Dr.) Mimi her assistant was a blessing. It's Dr. Sadique's office but I understand other specialist MDs practice here periodically. He has taken care of me since I'm 45 years old when I went to him I was in poor shape he helped me back to vitality . He discovered that I was diabetic and has helped me ever since I have been in several accidents and even had pneumonia as to which Dr Weinstein cared enough to come and visit me at the hospital . Even when I was in a motorcycle accident and he found out that I was in the hospital for that he came and saw me he came and saw me at the rehab I was in recovering from the motorcycle accident in my opinion he is the most terrific doctor and if you're lucky enough to go to this man he will help you better than any other primary health care physician you will ever meet . His courteous staff and his wife are very efficient and professional and Dr Weinstein takes his time to explain your illness and what you should do about it and the prescriptions that he prescribes truly help you he knows exactly who to send you to if it's a situation that you need endocrinologist or pulmonologist or any other needs he will send you to the right orthopedic doctor he will recommend the right cardiologist he's most fantastic doctor just recently he sent me to the correct ear doctor in which this doctor remove the wax build up in my ears from construction work then he gave me a hearing test he completely relieved my hearing loss and was so efficiently professional it blew my mind . Their technology is on point and as of right now this will be my main NY medical office. In addition the front desk staff were very sweet and really really accommodating. This doctor does not listen to your problems, rather just dishes out the problems to you without consulting. Wait times are horrible even if you have an appointment. She made me feel very uncomfortable and violated so I immediately changed my PCP with the insurance company and stopped going to her. She only cares about money and not her patients.

I had to negotiate in order to pay $15 the only money I had in my pocket to have to dr see me. Even than she was arguing with me about my coverage. Sorry my coverage isn't Medicare or Medicaid. My whole 40 minute wait, each secretary there was sitting and yapping away on the phone about there own personal matters... my headache became worse. Ladies, this is a DR office, not your living room. Sick people come in. We don't care to hear your personal conversations with others on the phone for 30 out of my 40 minute wait. Besides the fact that you were chewing at my ear, its not very professional. Keep your personal life away from your work life.

I know it's COVID and all and uncertain times but I scheduled an appointment twice for it not to have been recorded on the appointment calendar. Today I am coming back from the office after have take hours off from work to come all the way to forest hills, fight traffic, finding parking to find that the incompetent employee never scheduled me in! I called multiple times to just make sure that the appointment was there and no one had picked up. I am also very hangry as I had been fasting thinking I will get a blood test. Don't expect any assistance from his office in navigating the difficult and confusing world of the medical and insurance sphere. He didn't take coverage that less-fortunate people might be more likely to possess for as long as I can remember, and recently, he stopped taking what many older and retired people rely on. Considering this, how he actually has more than a handful of patients is a mystery. I guess there are a enough old rich folks falling for his palaver to keep it afloat. Although he himself might seem personable, his office must truly be a reflection of him and his inner character. His practice kept hounding me for a small copay bill during the covid pandemic, for a procedure done years before, when I could have been already been sick and dead. You can not expect to get a call back from him personally regarding medical questions, and his staff is liable to hang up on you. If he spends lots of time with patients, that's news to me, as I felt rushed at the end of the visit, ushered away to make room for people with far deeper pockets. After a while, one might come to the realization that his practice only cares about convenience for him and money. Typical. I haven't been to him in years and don't miss the experience, including the 2.5 hour waits, at all. Atrocious and unprofessional, and definitely not worth the overpaying you'll wind up doing for overpriced and unnecessary testing. Maybe his son will be better when he inevitably takes over the practice, but I'm not holding my breath.
