I have ALWAYS had a good turn out coming here until today. the person I was sent to not only hurt both of my toes during my pedicure, but he totally destroyed my paint job on my nails. he left my thumb bare with only a tip color.... with designs on every other nail. when I brought it to his attention, he said he wasn't finished yet. and at the end, still left it undone. yes I could have said something but it took him almost 3 hours to do my toes, a fill in, and 8 fingers with lines and dots. Next time I will wait on who I usually sit with. Lesson learned on going to a new employee Or being sent to whoever is available. read more

The most unsanitary manicure and gel removal I've ever had. Due to work, I ask to have gel polish removed bc I can't have color and requested a manicure and clear coat. Every tool that was used on my nails was pulled from an Altoid mint container covered in dust. Instead of gentle removing the gel polish, she drilled down my nails but then didn't smooth them out with a smoothing file so they are rough. There was also spots of polish I had to pick off myself and she insisted nothing was there (when I could clearly see it). Worst thing is that she lotioned my hands with all the dust still on there and then didn't have me wash my hands at all in the process. By far the worst (and most unsanitary) manicure I've ever had. She offered to fix them when I complained but frankly, I was just ready to go. read more

I never make reviews, okay? Though, I literally had to this time. This was by far one of the grossest/unkept nail salons I have ever been to. Sad because egg roll number one is next door and so good. I had to make a last minute appointment before a friend's wedding and thought by reviews to go it was in my area and I did not have a lot of time. When I walk in, it was extremely dusty. I couldn't get over how run down it appeared. People were there though so it seemed fine and brought me comfort in the moment.... I had this elder lady do my toe nails and also noticed how they don't sanitize their tools. Just imagine how many people they take care of with those tools...I thought of leaving then, but needed my nails done so bad and had no time to go anywhere else. I was desperate to get them done. Move onto fingers. The other lady did a wonderful job and my nails turned out great. Though also didn't sanitize her tools or take care of her station. BUT I am not exaggerating when I tell you I noticed a funky smell coming from my fingernails when I left the salon. I showered and they still smelled terrible!! Keep in mind I do NOT own cats, and they legit smelled like cat piss. My fiancé agreed and thought so too told me this was no exaggeration. I tried all sorts of soaps, scrubs, and lotions and could not get rid of the rank smell. The smell was so bad I couldn't even eat without being repulsed by cat smell, and I was embarrassed that others could smell my nails at the wedding because it was that strong of a smell. Sadly, I have to take them off they looked great, but not worth the stinky cat piss smell. Grossest experience ever. read more

I went to best nail for a last minute appointment after not planning ahead before a wedding! I was impressed with how quick they were able to get me in and the covid precautions they took. All patrons and nail techs wore a mask and/or face shield, chairs were sanitized between each person, and plexiglass barriers were between each table! Pros: - quick appointment time - comparable pricing for the area - large selection of no chip colors - adhered to appointment times -covid precautions Cons: - environment wasn't necessarily relaxing. I went on a Friday afternoon when Dr. Phil on tv. Maybe consider music instead? -the mani/pedi didn't last. My no chip chipped after 3 days and my pedicure after 7. I understand it doesn't last forever but I was hoping for a little more! Overall I would go back to give it another try. I know every manicure/pedicure isn't perfect so I would give it one more shot just in case this polish wasn't the best one or something like that! read more

I was extremely disappointed with this nail salon and will make sure I as well as anyone I know will never return. I went there at 12:15 on a Friday. There were two people waiting and 6 in service. I was told the wait would be 30mins. I went outside to read to past the time. When I returned 30 mins later there were now 4 people waiting and 7 in service. I checked the check in sheet and there were now 8 names written under mine. I asked a nail tech how far I was down on the list and I was told two people with appointments had come in since I checked in so my wait should not be more than 20-25mins. I sat and began reading, 40mins goes by and I am now the only one waiting. I was also the only POC client. I believe I was intentionally skipped. How unprofessional! Had I'd known the wait would be over a hour and a half I would have gone to another establishment. read more

Such great work! I LOVED my nails after my first visit here! I came in around 7:15 on a Monday, and there was about 4 people ahead of me on the waiting list - so very busy! Luckily, they had a lot of nail techs working so I still got in pretty quickly. I had Voo for a nail tech, and he did a fantastic Job. Sometimes when shops are near closing time, the nail techs will rush their work to get you out - not here. Everyone was getting well attended to and all the customers seemed to be enjoying their chats with the techs. It was a very friendly and open environment (sometimes I find nail salons to be uncomfortable and irritable due to how busy everyone is, but not here.) My gel manicure was $27!! Looking for a new nail salon and this is close to work and it got stellar reviews. Well. It took 1hr and 45 minutes to get a pedicure and this was just the basic. I found this time spent ridiculous. Maybe I just got the slow lady, because three other people got pedicures in the time that I got mine. I finally had to ask her to speed it up to which she didn't understand...I said move faster as I had to get back to work. Not sure I'd come back here unless I had a few hours to spare. read more

This place has gone down hill. The last three times I've tried to go there, they don't have enough help. Tonight I walked in at 6:40, and signed in for a manicure. I just left at 8:12 with no manicure while all the owners good friends walked in after me and she put them ahead of me. I don't care if they had 8 pm appts. It's not my fault they don't have enough help. The owner is rude and can't pronounce English names well. Every time I thought I was next, a anicure person would switch jobs and start doing pedicures on people who walked in after me with no appts. Decided to check out this nail salon during my lunch break and it was not my best choice. It was probably the most painful nail session I've ever had, and on top of that it was way more expensive than the normal place I go to. This place was very dirty and the staff was not friendly and very slow. Although my nails ended up looking fine, it was not worth the amount I paid ($50 for a full set?? Like what) and it was not worth the pain. My nail technician did not know how to properly use an automatic nail file. She filed the skin around my nails raw and also drew blood. This is the best nail place I have been to in a while. I just moved to Beech Grove and was kind of nervous to be going to a new salon. I'm a kind of shy person so usually when I go I don't really conversate but they really brought me out of my shell. I had acrylics on and wanted them taken off to get a gel French Mani. I was nervous she was going to make the white line on them really fat since my nails are already short but she really listened to me and made sure they were as thin as I liked. I was really nervous to try a new nail salon after moving from Muncie to Indy, but this place was great! I walked right in for a pedicure and a gel manicure and the service was great! As good as a mani/pedi gets, which included an awesome hand massage included in the price. It's been almost two weeks and my nails and toes still look as good as they did right after I got them. The staff were all friendly and the place was clean. I really have nothing negative to say about this place, except that it isn't a quick in and out (although this isn't a negative for me, because I LOVE a long time to relax and be pampered!). Be prepared to spend at least an hour there if you are doing both a manicure and pedicures. read more

This place is great! After reading the reviews I decided to try it out and loved it. I got a gel manicure and pedicure done by Vu and it's perfect. The staff is very friendly and they take their time (even when there are people waiting), which I LOVED because I hate feeling rushed. They were also great at suggesting colors (which was perfect because I'm very indecisive). Vu was very gentle and gave a great massage. I spent two hours there and am not sad about it. It's not perfectly clean (the floor was dusty from acrylic powder) but most inexpensive salons are like that, and the awesome service was worth it. I will definitely be going back. read more

They do a decent job here and the prices are competitive, but the wait is always ridiculous. I tried to miss the weekend rush and got here at 4:30pm today (a Thursday) and waited nearly an hour before getting in a chair. I'll likely need to leave before getting a mani because I won't have time. Plus, there are literally 10 people waiting for service behind me. Additionally, not all the technicians do a good job. For the second time today I got a lady who - while nice - not only doesn't do a great job, she's one of the slowest I've ever had. The 2 best technicians are always booked, do no use trying to get them. If you come here, try to come mid-day if possible; otherwise you're going to just waste your time. read more
