This was my second visit and the time taken to ensure I was satisfied and happy with my nails was a nice plus! Today was not a busy day for this salon, but they are often quite busy, so if you can, call ahead, but walk- ins are welcome! Normally welcomed by someone asking what service you need, and "pick a color " to get you started, the staff is friendly and welcoming. They do a nice job both Manicure, gel or acrylic nails and a great Pedicure as well. The Solon looks nice, is clean and maintained! Thank you to the staff from this traveler! Walking in the staff greeted us and asked us what we were looking for today and then choose a color. My sister and I both got acrylic nails done, I got mine done first and they are super nice but when my sister got hers done they were rushing because they had others waiting so her nails were rushed. They didn't look good and had bubbles and bumps but they fixed hers and now they look better. If you want your nails paint ask for Jack he painted mine and they are very nice. I came here because of the good reviews but I was so disappointed. They have a descent color selection but some of them are so old and they use an additive which thins the polish but adds "life" to the end of the bottle. I made an appointment for 2 pedicured and we arrived 10 minutes early. We waited for 45 minutes before we even sat down. The leg massage and foot care was good but the polish was not impressive. I got little mini air bubbles on all my nails so I brought it up asking if there was anything that could be done. I sat back down, and the guy who did my nails said that he didn't see anything, there wasn't any bubbles, etc. Proceeded to add a 'thinned' later of a clear coat and sent me home. I now have bubbles on my nails and the clear coat left a ribbed effect on my nails. read more

Went in Friday 07/22/22 got a full set of Gel nails. Guy asks square or round, I asked can you do coffin? He said yes! Well he did a crappy job I was so upset I didn't say anything. He finished right at closing 6:00 I called today to ask for him to take them off and a refund and he told me No. He said he spent a lot of time doing them. Yeah but it was a shitty job... Best pedicure I've gotten in the area - and for only $30! Clean, quiet, with nice chairs. Excellent leg and foot massage. My feet are still smooth and soft several days later. Be aware that you can't tip on your credit card - you need to do a tip in cash or check. I only had my credit card and couldn't leave a tip, I felt terrible and have to go back! read more

In for the weekend from Boston and stopped in for a pedicure to kill some time, SO PLEASED! I apologize for not catching her name, but a young woman (colorful hair and lip rings) did my nails. She was AMAZING! I've been to nail salons all over the country and this was the best massage I've ever had. I normally hate the massage portion because of the slapping/hard gripping on my legs, and was so surprised with the gentle hands; I almost fell asleep in the chair! I have been going here for years. The owners are wonderful and I've never had anything but great service and mani/pedis. Jack is also wonderful. In July I had a manicure done by the older women and it was the worst manicure I've ever had. My actual nails just broke off based on how she filed/ buffed them. I went back today and got her again argh! After she trimmed my nails/and other snipping, she shook the towel in the water that my feet were soaking in! I pulled my feet out and she kept trying to put them back in- gross!! My $30.00 pedi was a mess. Nail polish on the sides etc. That's my last time going to Best Nails. read more

Fantastic pedicure by the young man with the blonde hair on top and glasses. He was super gentle but still effective. Excellent long massage. Perfect paint job and shaping. The only reason I gave four stars is because the salon itself is messy. All of the tools used did appear to be clean and they had sanitizer machines that were running when I was in there which is a great sign. I will be back! read more

Went in for a full gel set. Left paying $50 for a horrible job. My nails are all uneven, 2 nails were put on crooked, and some nails were filed down on one side of the nail, and not on the other. This was my first and last visit there. I am extemely unsatisfied, and ashamed that my nails look the way they do. read more

This was by far the worst manicure that I have ever gotten in my life. The salon is filthy and looks like it's never been cleaned. The service was terrible, and the owners were very distracted and yelling at each other the entire time. I have no idea how others rated this as 4-stars. I've been going to Best Nails for years, they have a great location and its usually a quiet and relaxing area. The give long food massages and have comfortable chairs. But the last couple times I've gone both my manicure and pedicure was a mess. My gel manicure was sloppy and the dark cranberry color was splotchy and the flat edge of the tip wasn't painted or finished. And they didn't even put my toenails under the dryer! They just let them dry while doing my manicure then let us leave, so when I got home they were completely destroyed. TMI ALERT, the pedicurist (an older woman) cut my toenails at an angle so a few weeks later I had an ingrown toenail disaster on both feet. If you don't get Jack you might as well leave! read more

Their pitiful service literally made my fingers bleed. In addition, I was left at a station, unattended, for no reason other than the cleaning of the pedicure stations. I will readily admit I was scammed by this business as I believe it will reveal its character. On arrival, I asked for a manicure. I was only offered their most expensive specialty color samples to look at. Assuming, like a fool, that these were the "regular" manicure colors, I went along with it as I already knew their manicure price to be a pretty standard $13. I was thoroughly shocked, when paying, to find out my manicure (which resulted in blood and knobby nails) was a whopping $27. This salon was Salon Eight O Two a few years ago but is now Best Nails so maybe the change in name signals a change in management. I found the salon very efficient and the staff quite nice. Maybe a little old and in need of some refurbishing (plastic covers on chairs were torn) but fairly clean. About what I expect in a neighborhood, nails only place. read more
