Shockingly poor pedicure. Requested the most expensive "collagen pedicure" supposed to last 40-50 minutes with all the extras. Arrived 4 minutes before my appointment time and was sent to the pedi chair. Selected gel color, tech started 15 minutes after the appointment time (expected for a nail salon, so no big deal), but 25 minutes later she slapped some hot towels on my legs, said thank you and left me sitting there with the towels and some goop underneath which apparently I was meant to remove myself and clean up. When I saw how little time and effort was spent on all the steps, I started timing w my phone- less than 15 seconds for many of the steps, and less than2 minutes for any massage or scrub steps. The actual nail care part before polish was about 7 minutes total despite lots of callous and ingrowns. The polish was thick and rounded and looked "home done". As I was removing the towels and sticky product to find my shoes and leave, the man running the business came to assist and asked how it was. I politely relayed it was not a good experience. He apologized and only charged me $55, which was a discounted price. His consideration was much appreciated. Don't know the tech's name but hopefully she is not working there long. read more

If there was a Zero rating option, I would have chosen it. Lousy service, incompetent (nails ended up chipped), rude people, physically rough, a lot of yelling. With all that, the thing that got me the most is how they shame and intimidate people regarding their tips, and yell at you when doing it. They did this to everyone while I was there, myself included. I did not give in to their intimidation tactics. Others did, however, and gave them more money. I want to represent these people, as well. In addition, the Board of Health should should stop in and watch them re-use their instruments.
