Fake news! This is not a best of Philly cheesesteak. They use frozen compressed meat similar to Steak-Um. That is not authentic for a Philly cheesesteak. It's a cheap alternative. The cook used water to speed up the frying process. A real Philadelphia cook uses olive oil. The steak lacked flavor. I added salt and pepper to give it some life. I asked for provolone and got American which proves that they don't pay attention. One and done, I won't be back. read more

The service had no smile on their faces, there are signs saying, top quality gyros, when it is in fact, frozen in the back. The "authentic cheesesteak" the Philly style is nothing but frozen meat as well. Everything is frozen here. I am not quite sure why it says the best of Philly on the sign. My husband and I are not food connoisseurs by any stretch of the imagination. We just know what we like and don't like. Oh, my goodness! These sandwiches were huge. Couldn't eat it all in one sitting. Onion rings were perfectly done. His sweet tea and my raspberry tea were a little watered down, but that is a minor issue compared to the amazing food. Please don't waits your money. All I ordered was mozzarella stick and two of the smaller Philly combos and it was over $50. The mozzarella sticks were disgusting and the Philly cheesesteak was wet and mushy like they have it in a big tub back there. Easy of money and made my man sick read more

We got into our RV location after dark, so drove around and found Best of Philly. It's just one of those places that you look at and you know they're gonna have good food. Small place not super clean but that's ok with us What caught my eye was that they had gyros! We've been on the road for almost 3 months and have not had Greek food! The gyros was awesome! A ton of meat and we paid .50 X3 to have the extra tzatziki sauce ( outstanding) I think I have had one Philly cheesesteak sandwich in my life and I don't think it was made right..... I make it a point to stop at Best if Philly anytime I visit the Grand Strand. This is by far, hands-down, the best Philly cheesesteak that I've ever had in the south. My sandwich was loaded with meat and cheese. It was piping hot, so I had to wait a few minutes before I could eat it. I ended up burning my lip a little because I couldn't wait. The shrimp was just ok but this isn't a seafood restaurant. If you're ever in Myrtle Beach, I recommend trying this place for Philly cheesesteaks. read more

Great customer service. The guys at the counter were very friendly. Order at the window, then sit and they call you back to the window. It's a quaint little place. Not good if you have a ton of people in your party, especially if they're busy. The Philly cheesesteak is out of this world! Meat was tender and juicy. Cheese is really good too. I ordered an 8" Philly Cheesesteak Combo. This comes with fries and a fountain drink. The cheesesteak was average at best-dry and over cooked. They nickel and dime you for toppings at 50 cents each. Delicious!! Ok so they outside street view might make you drive passed but don't let it deter you from stopping! We were in town and looked up a place bc we wanted chili cheese fries. This popped up. We got so much more. The cheese steaks are awesome! My fiancé almost always puts ketchup on his sandwich but not this time. It had the perfect combo of fillings. We also ordered wings and mozarrella cheese sticks (all day flying from opposite coast so we were hungry). Everything was great.
