The pizza was like having a piece of leather and the wings were dry and overcooked. Never again for me

We just visited for the 2nd time and realized I never posted a review from our first visit…read more 1st visit we sat at one of the pub top tables by the bar with all the TVs over it. Our wait staff was Makenzie and she was great! We had fried pickles as an appetizer. Came out quick and breaded just right. I had the Cheeseburger Sliders Basket - 3 mini burgers topped with American cheese, mustard, ketchup and pickles. Served with a French fries and coleslaw. My daughter had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sub - grilled chicken breast cubed and sautéed with onions, banana peppers, jerk seasonings and melted Provolone cheese. Served on a sub roll with lettuce and homemade pineapple cilantro salsa with pub chips. 2nd visit- It has been about 2 months from our first visit. We were at a booth this time. We had a tv designated just for our booth. The TVs are number and you can have them change the channel for your table. Our one of the large TVs if you don't have your own tv. I had the Gamecock - grilled chicken sandwich topped with bacon, melted Provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch dressing on a brioche bun. Very good sandwich. My husband had the French Dip - roast beef and Provolone cheese baked on a sub roll with caramelized onions and served with au jus. Bobby was our server. He was attentive and nice. Good food in a clean sports bar.

This was my first visit to Dagwood's in North Myrtle Beach. I stopped in after 8 p.m. on a Monday,…read moreso I realize late evenings on a weeknight can feel a little different from peak hours. I was greeted quickly and directed to a seat at the bar. The same staff member soon brought me water and poured a 10-ounce Dirty Myrtle IPA, a local double IPA on tap. She made sure I knew it was a smaller pour, which I appreciated. The beer itself was very good. After getting a menu, I ordered the fish and chips, which is usually my go-to when trying a pub for the first time. The plate looked great when it arrived: four large pieces of fried cod (enough for two people, really), fries, a big pickle spear, two cups of tartar sauce, and coleslaw. The coleslaw deserves special mention. It was excellent--honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. Fresh, balanced, and really flavorful. The fish arrived hot and the first bite was very good: flaky cod with a crisp exterior. As I worked further into it, though, I realized the batter was thicker than I personally prefer. Instead of a light, crispy coating, it was heavier and softer underneath the crust, and as the fish cooled that became more noticeable. The fries were decent but seemed like they had been sitting under heat for a bit. Not bad, just not as hot and crisp as they could have been. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and it seems like a good place to meet friends or catch a game. Service at the bar was polite but fairly minimal, and my total was just over $27 for the beer and fish and chips, which felt a little high for the overall depth of the meal. Overall, it was a mixed experience: good vibe, great coleslaw, decent fish, but not quite a standout meal for me. I'll likely give Dagwood's another try and explore other items on the menu. And when I do, I'll definitely order that coleslaw again.

What a great diner right off hwy 90. They serve breakfast all day and give discounts to first…read moreresponders. The staff is friendly and really hustle. The menu hits all of your traditional country offerings and they have a daily special for lunch. The food is good and they put a twist on some offerings by adding some form of Boston to it. We tried the Sunday chicken bog, hamburger plate and 2 egg breakfast. It was all delicious and filling. This place is a definite winner.

We gave Camp An Elli's a try on a Saturday morning and left impressed with the service and the food. We received a warm greeting when we walked through the door and found the service friendly, prompt, and helpful during our meal. The restaurant is the sort of basic country diner you find throughout SC. They had just finished putting up Halloween decorations when we arrived, so that added to the restaurant's personality. The menu gives away clues to the owner's previous home with dishes named "The Bostonian" and "Boston Scrambler", however we both tried the Make Your Own Wicked omelet and home fries. My omelet was excellent with a generous amount of ingredients that were clearly fresh and cooked to order. The home fries, made with red potatoes that were boiled and then finished in a skillet, were some of the best I've had in a long time. Prices were a tad high given the rural location and more in line with what I'd find on the Grand Strand, but still a reasonable value. Recommended and definitely worth a drive from North Myrtle for the food and service.

We made eye contact with both bartenders multiple times while sitting there, and they completely ignored us. Not once did anyone acknowledge us, ask if we needed a drink, or even say they'd be right with us. It wasn't like the bar was slammed either--we were just... invisible. After sitting there long enough realizing we clearly weren't going to be served, we left. Pretty disappointing experience, especially during an event when you'd expect staff to be attentive.

The staff are all super friendly and the place itself is an awesome firehouse with tons of TVs and sports on. On to the food, we got tons of wings like buffalo, old bay, thai chili and they were all really solid. We also got grouper fish sticks and nachos which were good too but the wings were the better appetizer. The Ribeye steak sandwich was really awesome, a really good piece of meat grilled to a nice medium rare, as i was eating it I asked myself why i even got it as a sandwich because the meat was soo good alone. The fries are also very crispy. They have a nice beer selection but I think blue moons were $8-9 on draft so they added up quick! Would definitely come back again next year!
