I searched high and low for party entertainers for my nephews 5th birthday party and we went with Best Party Ever and thanks to Obi won and Darth Vader it really was! The entertainers were friendly, funny and had the kids totally engaged. My nephew was actually a little reluctant at first but they had a lot of patience and won him over. We had a wonderful experience booking Darth Vader for our sons 5th birthday. All 7 kids wore masks, we were outside, and Darth was double masked and kept his distance as he performed Jedi training and chatting with the kids. The company was very responsive and the performer was fantastic and really did a great job keeping the kids and parents entertained. I was on the fence as to whether or not I would hire entertainment. I emailed a couple different companies and when I received a response back from Bailey at Best Party Ever I was totally sold. Bailey laid out exactly what I would be getting and was SO responsive. Seriously, I emailed her probably a dozen times and always heard back within a couple hours (within minutes on the day of the party, when my phone stopped making voicecalls suddenly!). We got Luke and Darth for my sons fifth birthday, which was held at Holmby Park. He didn't know we had arranged this and was THRILLED when Luke showed up on the playground. Shortly thereafter the kids were engaged with Luke when Darth snuck up behind the group and the kids were just beside themselves with excitement. You couldn't hope for better quality entertainment. The kids were enthralled the ENTIRE time as were the parents. I don't want to brag too much but there was a much bigger (much, much, much more expensive) party happening on the other side of the park but each and every child guest wandered over to watch Darth and Luke. We hired Queen Elsa for our sons 4th birthday. We did not have a party, it was just a one on one play date / visit from the Queen. When she left he told us that it was a "DREAM COME TRUE". The character was perfect, said all the right things and engaged him for the entire hour. He even asked her for a sleepover! If you are looking for a Batman and Robin for your child's birthday and you can't quite make up your mind on which company to choose...LOOK NO FURTHER! This is without hesitation a great investment. I did days of research and looked over tons of reviews online trying to find the "right" Batman. I'm so glad that I chose Best Party Ever. The guys were great! So good with the kids, so engaging. They really worked well with my shy child who refused to get out of the jumper for the first 20 minutes and did their training near him and incorporated the jumper. My 10 yr old daughter wanted a star wars themed party this year and so we decided to go the character route. I was a little anxious because we've never done anything like this before and although I've been to parties with super heros and princesses, they were usually for really young kids and so the activities were geared towards that age level. Anyway, I wasn't sure what to expect for a group of 10 year olds -- especially since they were mostly girls who admitted that they really weren't into Star Wars in the first place and their younger siblings. But the party turned out great! I can't express how great the characters were -- First Obi Wan and Rey showed up through our side gate (we left it opened for them). We didn't announce to the kids they were coming and so it was a huge surprise. The characters did this whole improv thing where they pretended they came to planet earth searching for the special person with the force (who just so happened to be the birthday child, of course!). The kids (all of them) were so into it and screaming and squealing and laughing. They then started some jedi training and all of a sudden Darth Vader shows up walking through our living room unannounced (what an entrance! more squealing and laughter). Then all the characters are in full improv mode and engaging with the kids. This went on for quite a while and I could tell the characters were very aware of what worked with this age group -- they were just so wonderful and kind and fun and did everything to make sure the kids had a great time (I was feeling for them in their hot costumes though!) We had several parents tell us what an amazing experience the party was and even my husband who had been a little nonchalant about the entire character hiring thing prior to the party is now asking our son about what characters he wants for his party :-) Bailey was also very easy to work with. She answered all my questions -- we did things mostly via email which is how I like to work. She even helped me get the light sabers which were the treasures in the treasure chest. My only "regret" is that I was so engaged with the characters that I didn't take as many photos as I would've liked and so I didn't get a good photo of my two kids with the characters! I hired BPE for my son's 7th birthday Star Wars party and it was AMAZING! All the characters were SPECTACULAR!!! My son indeed had the best.party.ever! All costumes were realistic and the actors were sooo good! They were professional, on time, and dealt with unbearable heat that afternoon. They didn't flinch, nor skip a beat, and it was REALLY hot. This past weekend we had my son's 9th birthday party in the theme of Star Wars. The four characters that came, Padme, Anakin, Dooku and Vader were phenomenal. The costumes were accurate and very realistic, the performers were very knowledgable and interacted with the children beautifully. They were also very funny and provided the adults with plenty of laughs. The climax of the whole party was the fantastic light saber fight followed by a light saber training session led by Darth Vader! The kids had a fantastic time and couldn't stop talking about it. We hired Batman and Joker for my son's 3rd birthday party. They arrived 15 minutes early to check in and get the goodies for the treasure chest. Nice guys! First Batman came in and my son couldn't be more excited!! After about 10 minutes or so, Joker showed up and the kids got excited to see them both. They played some superhero games and interacted beautifully with the kids! We had a mix of ages from 1 year old to 10 years old and they all loved it. Then they all sat around and the birthday boy had to help Joker and Batman open the treasure chest,which had all of the favor bags for the guests. The characters did a GREAT job managing the children, entertaining everyone, and being extremely patient with 3 year-olds that wanted to run around like crazy and older kids who were less than enthusiastic at times. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Great job by Robert and Kort. They were also a great company to work with via online and email when it came to planning the event. Everything ran smoothly and they were super quick to respond whenever I had a question or concern. Words cannot express how great these guys were - like other reviewers have said, they were able to keep a class of 26 high-energy kindergartners completely captivated and entertained for an entire hour and a half. Our son felt so special and loved every minute of it - he is a total Star Wars geek and these guys were perfect. Its not every day that you can find groups active in dressing up, but in pre-planning stunts and choreography to wow and dazzle the children, and actually leave them believing they've perhaps really seen their action heroes. I booked these guys to provide two cowboys and a cowgirl to entertain 30 kids and boy, did they do a great job. They were funny, kept the kids engaged with games and a treasure hunt, and even the adults loved them. Fast forward to this year, now my kid is all about Harry Potter. I called Best Party Ever and asked if they could send some HP characters for her birthday party last weekend. What a great day! Bailey was amazing and put together a wonderful day for us. We had Wonder Woman (Amazing!) Luke(Fantastic!) and Darth Vader(Superb!) This treat was just for my two grandchildren, ages 4 and 7 and we had the best time. The characters never stepped out of their character even though it was only for 2 kids. Darth Vader was hilarious and was not too scary which is what I requested. Clearly for adults he could be more like Darth Vader in the movie however it was perfect for us. My grandson was able to have a laser fight with Darth Vader and a treasure hunt with all the characters. This company is very reliable, the costumes very realistic and I am so impressed. Our experience with Best Party Ever was excellent from start to finish!!! We celebrated our son's 7th birthday with a Super hero themed party featuring Thor and Iron Man. Prior to the event all our questions/emails were answered promptly by Brian D.. The 90 minute event proceeded exactly as described to us. It included an Avengers/Superhero training session and a treasure hunt which ended with our son finding a chest filled with "goodie bags" for his friends. The comedy/entertainment was funny and appropriate (both kids & parents were amused). They even gave extra time for cake cutting and photo ops with guests. Thor and Iron Man were fantastic!!! We just celebrated my son's 6th birthday over the weekend and Best Party Ever was amazing and made it memorable. My son is Star Wars' obsessed and so Darth Vadar and Obe One Kenobi came to our home for 1.5 hours, which included an amazing monologue between the 2 characters, jedi training, cake cutting and pictures. Children ranged in ages from 2-10 and all were transfixed the whole time (so at least now I know kids all have the capacity when sufficiently motivated and intrigued).
