We had a Princess Sophia themed party for our two year old and my wife got Cinderella to come to the party. She went above and beyond our expectations. Ok, this was just the cutest thing ever! So my friend had a fairy & princess party from Papillons at her daughter's 5th birthday party and the kids had THE BEST time. I had to write a review. Such a brilliant business So honestly they were like a walking theme park. They had music playing (we couldn't tell where it was coming from which had a really magical effect), they got right to playing with the kids and did a whole magic show and face painting too. I hired a puppet show/magic/ balloon show for my daughters first birthday on 1/31/15. They were amazing! Of course, corny jokes and silly voices to adults but the kids loved it! To this day, my 2 year old tells me she gets her cookies from the "cookie bandit". Got lots of praise for throwing a great party with good entertainment for the kids. They were very professional in attending to our needs in such short notice. Best princess performance I have ever seen. I'm so glad and happy to have hired this company for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. Princess Rapunzel was warm, lovely and full of live. Oh My !!!! Where do I start. :) this company is AWESOME! They are really great with the kids go above and beyond to make everyone apart of the celebration. Both actors stayed in character throughout the event and they assisted with the festivities. What a great find! I hired Papillons Entertainment for my daughters 4th birthday and they were wonderful! We had 'Rapunzel' come to the party and the minute she showed up at the door she was ready to entertain the kids. Her costume was beautiful, she had a picnic basket filled with tricks and toys and was just delightful. We had a few boys at the party as well and they loved her too, all the kids were just amazed at 'Rapunzel.' She was great at keeping the kids engaged, with dancing, story time, magic tricks and face painting - spiderman for boys and flowers and rainbows for girls. We used them for the first time this year for our 4 year old's son birthday party. I ordered Captain Jack to come. The billing service through email went fine . The day of the party, Captain Jack called to tell me where he was (and he was already playing the part on the phone) and that he'd be arriving at such and such time.. He then called to say he was out front getting ready and would be in shortly. When he came in the kids were captivated. My son was intrigued and smiling. Captain Jack was funny in a kids sense of way but also had some adult humor and everyone loved him. WE received al ot of compliments on how great he was and funny!! Contacted a few kid's entertainers to get quotes for face painting for my daughter's Wicked 5th Birthday, and Papillons was the first to respond. I was very surprised to learn that they had an Elphaba costume and they gave me some ideas of what we could do for a Wicked themed party with dancing, games, and singing...after all Wicked is a musical. Elphaba' costume looked amazing and she even had green makeup. Not very many kids knew about the musical but they all had a great time. My daughter loved singing Popular and Defying Gravity. I chose the 2nd tier package but she was also able to do face painting in the end which is included in the 3rd tier package. She also stayed to sing happy birthday and pose for pics. When planning my daughter's 5th birthday party, I wanted to find a princess that would deliver high quality entertainment at a reasonable price. Papillons went above and beyond my expectations. When I initially booked the celtic "Brave" princess, all my concerns were addressed. From the particular princess that would arrive ( I had read other reviews from other pages of entertainers getting switched last minute), the outfit that the princess would wear, and exactly how the evening would be scheduled. The princess arrived on time (she took caution to park around the corner), and all the guests and children were wowed by her. From the moment she stepped foot at our party, she was in the "brave" princess character. She was very professional and I was very impressed on how she handled the crowed of kids. She was able to keep them all entertained and was not phased at all by any curveballs the kids threw at her. Most importantly she kept my shy birthday girl happy and involved. From one activity to another, there was never a dull moment. All two hours were filled with laughter and entertainment. The party couldnt have ended better than with Merida singing happy birthday with my birthday girl and helping her blowout her candles. Biggest waste of $$ ever! David H. was so bad I almost asked him to leave early. This was an adult's baby shower, which they knew about of course & I had asked for someone to interact casually with guests during the cocktail hour. He may be more comfortable with kids. What I got was a guy who stood off to the side, made his balloons (which kept popping - need some fresher product?) and then stepped up to the table to hand over to the ladies. He truly doesn't know how to engage people in a fun conversation or humorous dialogue which is what "ENTERTAINMENT" IS ALL ABOUT! When I booked him, Jenna said he could wear a costume & I said I didn't want him to look dorky so she suggested a race car driver outfit (baby to be is a boy) and truly the outfit he wore made it even worse. I had heard from friends who loved the balloon twister at a recent party which inspired me to book this act. The recommended lady was already busy so I took a chance. It may still be a good idea if you can find a highly recommended talent but I won't waste my $$ again on such. Be careful who you hire...in Papillion's defense, they returned calls promptly& pleasantly, took a credit card for the booking fee, cash for the entertainer at time of party & he checked in with me by phone prior to the event to go over the details & was on time. read more

Rapunzel (as performed flawlessly by Jenna) truly entertained 15 girls and 1 boy for 2hrs as she provided dressup clothes, dancing with the kids, storytelling (where she beautifully sang 2 songs/played guitar), magic tricks, face painting and sang "Happy Birthday" . Rapunzel made my daughter feel comfortable and special throughout the party (so much so that my daughter had no problem singing with Rapunzel in front of so many people!) We had "Ariel the Sea Princess" come to my daughter's 4th princess birthday party last week, and it was a fabulous experience! She was the best character I have ever seen at a party and all of the parents agreed-she was so professional, so clean, great with the kids, and totally engaging!
