She was efficient, effective, reasonably priced, provided guidance throughout while also comforted me that the way they install the bird guards wouldnt impact my tesla warranty. One feedback could be to clean up a little more tidy if possible, noticed some droppings around parts of the house. To be fair, there was lots of droppings and nesting up on the roof. Unfortunately, our biggest mistake when installing solar- we didn't add critter guards. We decided we needed to get our solar panels cleaned and see what was going on up there. I called many pest/critter guard places to deal with our solar problem. Mara was very professional and so was her team. She gave us a free estimate and fair pricing. On the day of service to put the new guards on and clean & disinfectant the roof from the pigeon poop she took various pictures and videos from different angles to show her work. When I need someone who can help me, I always go to Yelp! I saw Best Shine had five stars. I tried to call and text Mara, but we corresponded better via text. She came over to our home, and she was very professional and pleasant to talk to! She climbed the roof, personally looked at our solar. My first impression was that she is very knowledgeable, and she told me what needed to be done since I have 44 solar panels on our roof. She was candid and let me know the pricing, including the free estimate, and the use of the new guards' disinfectant. The price is reasonable. Excellent customer service! On July 8th, she came over on time and started cleaning the solar. I was there, observing her in the hot weather, and I was a little worried about the heat. She was ontime with our 10:30 am scheduled appointment. My solar panels were sun blocked from the hard water deposits that I caused when I tried doing it myself with a garden hose. Mara did a beautiful job and cleared all the hard water deposits completely. I also liked the fact she was the owner and did the work herself. I've had problems in the past where some guy from a company shows up and caused more complications than the problem he was there to fix. When I started looking at solar panel cleaning, Best Shine's reviews stood out as all the things you want to hear: easy to engage, good price, efficient, high quality, and conscientious. I sent Mara the number of panels as requested on their site for a quote and she got back to me quickly with a very reasonable price for the panel cleaning plus a skylight. Given what I'd read in the reviews and the price, I didn't even solicit another quote. Easily made the appointment and she was early---but only texted that she was here and then she got started (we had already established that she could do the work without us being here). I happened to be here and went out to say hello as she set up, and she was friendly and professional. She did the job quickly but not hastily, and sent before and after pictures as promised. The work was great and we will use her again in six months, when she will ping me to set something up. Important point, at least to me: when I asked how often we should get our panels cleaned, she said we could do three times a year, but she recommended two. This comports with what I've heard through my research, but other vendors mostly indicated three times per year. The fact that she could have made more money but chose to advise in our interests rather than hers shows a level of integrity that will, along with all of the other positives in this experience, keep us seeing her twice a year for very long time. read more
