I was treated with the utmost care, professionalism and kindness from every single staff member the entire time. During my consultation, everything was explained in great detail to me, but also in a very comforting manner! The anxiety was still there, but it was clear how much Dr. Kelly cared and meticulously formed a plan for my surgery. I had feared since I waited so long complications would be guaranteed, but she explained everything she would do to take care of my situation to prevent any issues. Of course, some risk of complications is always there for this type of surgery at my age (29), but when you are in the right hands it can make a huge difference. The day of my surgery was extremely easy for me, I could not believe it. The only part I remember (and disliked) was the blood draw which is a part of her healing technique (worth it honestly), other than that I don't even remember falling asleep under sedation. I was in the chair, and suddenly I woke up and was ready to go home. By following the provided detailed instructions and medication plans, I did not feel much pain post-op at all! Day 2 was the only noticeable day where my swelling was at its max and I felt higher pressure/tightness in my teeth. Each day to follow has felt better than the last. I am on day 8 now and feeling much more back to normal, stitches dissolved, I just have some sensitivity left. I rate this entire experience and office 10000/10. The entire team's expertise, care, and kindness made this a much more positive experience than my brain ever could have imagined. Due to the less than 12 hours notice I accommodated my schedule for this said interview. I researched the mission and values and presented myself on time except the interviewer never arrived. When Lyle messaged me via Indeed there was a message stating "Love to speak with on the phone" verbatim. I wasn't provided a response why the interview didn't happen. I called the business line on the 15th as well and didn't hear anything back. I also messaged Lyle via Indeed during the time slot of the interview. I wasn't allowed to compete for the position and my credentials were more than what the job posting required. I'm a human being!!! I deserved the professional courtesy of a reason for the short notice interview and why it never occurred.

The root canal was done through a bridge that had been installed over a decade ago. After they installed the permanent filling, 5 days later, my bridge fell off while I was eating. I called back with the problem and was told to come back and they would reattach it. After a lot of "prep" work, the reattachment charges were over $500 and 30 days later it came off again. Needless to say, I wasn't going back there to let them try again and CHARGE me again. The competent dentist that did reattach it said they almost destroyed one of the teeth that was an anchor, making the reattachment difficult. STAY AWAY AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Two of my friends recommended Dr. Rae so I gave the office a call in desperation. They were able to get me in to see Dr. Rae within hours! Everyone from the front desk to the doctor himself was friendly and warm. We set an appointment on Monday for an extraction after weighing all the options. On Thursday the pain was so intense that I called the office to see if there were cancellations that I could sneak into, there weren't but I was told first thing Friday morning (they're typically closed). I went in for the extraction at 10am and sat back down in my car to drive home at 10:40am. I never knew getting a tooth pulled would be such a pleasant experience, but Dr. Rae and his staff showed me that dentists don't have to be feared. He explained every step and what to expect along the way, making me feel prepared and at ease. I am so happy to have finally found a wonderful dentist in Deland! On top of that, the communication from their office has been extremely unprofessional. After I left a Google review about my experience, they began reaching out to me directly via text message in a snarky and harassing tone instead of addressing the issue appropriately. That alone is unacceptable. What made this even worse is that they sent personal and confidential information over text message. That is a serious breach of privacy and completely inappropriate. Patient information should never be handled that casually. Overall, this was a frustrating and concerning experience from start to finish, with billing issues, poor communication, and lack of professionalism.
