I love supporting local businesses! We enjoyed the green tea. :-) There were also fun games to play! The service was also very friendly.

The young woman who was in the store all by herself needs training in customer service…read more Desperately! I asked her what the ingredients were in the non dairy milk. She looked at me and said, I don't know. And she just sat, like I was bothering her. I said, you don't know? Is there a way to check? She asked if I wanted to know the ingredients. I said yes. She finally got up, went into the back and took a picture of the ingredients. Ingredients were acceptable. I ordered 30% ice. My daughter ordered 100% ice. Same flavor. At the end of our drinks, I had more ice than my daughter. How does that work? I picked up the drinks and said, just showing you. I have more ice left over than my daughter. Her response? Well, it keeps the drinks colder, longer. I drink fast. I just wanted a little ice. (Here it is, 4 hours later and I still have ice! ) I was given the option of how much ice I wanted. I gave my choice and it was ignored. Then, I was met with rudeness. I am sure she has potential. She just needs to learn to listen to customers and not be rude. And it might help if your store was better staffed. Oh, and the drink was good.

Pandan Matcha Latte 12 oz…read more I ordered the pandan matcha and initially didn't realize it only came in a 12-ounce size. When I asked if I could get it as a large, I was told it only came in the 12 oz, so I decided not to get it. Then the barista offered another option adding pandan cold foam on top instead. I very clearly asked (twice) if that version would be a large, and she said yes. Since that worked for me, I agreed to the second option. I stepped out briefly to use the restroom, but theirs was closed, so I had to walk over to Stater Bros. When I came back, to my surprise, the drink was still a small. I was disappointed because I had specifically confirmed that the customized option would be a large. At that point, I felt rushed like they were more eager to close and go home than to fix the mistake so I didn't feel I had much of a choice but to take it. I paid $10 for a small drink, which felt unreasonable, especially considering the miscommunication. To make matters worse, the drink didn't really taste like pandan at all. Overall, the customer service felt very off at this location. I'd rather go to the San Gabriel location, where I've had a much better experience.

We had to park a little further away because a lot of the parking in the lot is marked with a time limit or for specific businesses. We beat the crowd, as it did get busy while we were here. She got the taro slush and I got the lychee mint lemonade. She said hers was really good and I really enjoyed mine! It was so refreshing and the perfect mix of sweet and sour. While we were here, I just had to get a corn dog--half mozzarella and half hot dog. I opted to have them roll it in sugar and drizzle ketchup and mustard. It was delicious! Service was great and we also enjoyed the claw machine, even though we walked away empty handed lol.

LOL...but no we were not winners today:( My Taro Smoothie was very tasty! Sometimes taro has no taste...why, I don't know. This one was perfect...Not too sweet but with flavor! Danielle got the Lychee Mint Lemonade which looked refreshing. She loved hers and also got a corn dog...she really enjoyed that too! Parking is free - just check the signs if you plan on staying for more than 15 minutes - Parking for longer periods is a little further away from this place. ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

We ordered the following; -Strawberry Matcha latte 4/5 Was refreshing. Their matcha wasn't strong. It was mild and less intense matcha complemented with sweet strawberry syrup. - Pork Lumpia 5/5 It was crispy, hot and savory. - Fish Cake 5/5 It was soft, chewy and mild spicy strips. - popcorn chicken We ordered mild spice because my friend cannot tolerate spicy food. It came spicy. For me, I like spicy food but my friend could not eat it. It was not mild at all. - Sesame Balls 5/5 It was hot and fresh, mochi- like in texture and sweet in the center. The cafe was clean. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was good. I will come back to try more food from the menu.

I had a lovely experience at Kristos Coffee (Azusa). I ordered the Teddy Latte ($8.75 - 20oz -…read moreIced). It's coffee with hazelnut, brown sugar, cinnamon, and non-dairy creamer. Genuine, pleasant surprise shook me... it's TASTY! I felt awake as I sipped this smooth, premium coffee. I arrived at Kristos Coffee (Azusa) on Tuesday (around 9:35AM). Parking is very easy if familiar with its location. Kristos Coffee (Azusa) is hidden alongside the Lemon Zest business's backside; Kristos Coffee has its own shared lot. There's also street parking. (Quick Note: Shockingly, Kristo Coffee is wedged between two Azusa coffee juggernauts [i.e. Pressed + Flower, Penny Coffee Roasters], yet it still confidently competes.) Staff is professional, charming, and hardworking. Staff briskly welcomed me, and Staff answered all my questions with a calm, relaxed demeanor. Staff is also very attentive. My drink took three minutes and 15 seconds. Good time. As mentioned, I enjoyed my Teddy Latte ($8.75 - 20oz - Iced). After my first sip, I fought the urge to scream in joy. This iced coffee tastes crisp and clean; it deftly avoids that gloopy processed taste. Rather, I smiled as its fresh coffee roast flavor and slumbering sweetness playfully slapped me across the cheek. With a relaxed sigh, the aftertaste of brown sugar and cinnamon stretched lithely. I felt awake and happy. Concerning ambiance, Kristos Coffee (Azusa) is currently an order-and-go spot. Its interior is bare bones. There's no restroom; there's no bottle of hand sanitizer; and there's no customer internet. Rather, it's one tiny round table and a small counter. There's also one available electrical outlet. Still, I appreciated the interior's cleanliness and upbeat music. Overall, Kristos Coffee (Azusa) is a story of passion and quality. Despite the bad visibility and hefty coffee competitors, Kristos works hard to provide useful, flavorful coffee to the community. If curious, I wholeheartedly recommend. 4.8 out of 5. "GO!!"

Kristos is behind Lemon Zest, so it's in your best interest to turn onto Sixth Street and park in the lot there. The shop is very small, but clean. Service was good. We ordered the iced dulce de latte, iced baklava latte, and kids' hot chocolate. The baklava latte was good, but nothing crazy. The kids' hot chocolate my kid finished it, which doesn't happen often. Unfortunately the iced dulce de latte wasn't good, it had a very thick layer of dulce de leche that was difficult to stir and the mixture wasn't enjoyable. I would probably come back again to try something else on their menu, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

I've been here a few times now, and it's usually really good (if a little pricey lol). However,…read morethis last time really kind of pissed me off. I had to work late last night, so I stopped to get a bowl with 3 scoops of salmon so I would be full for the rest of the day. The girl who helped me seemed really new, and was left all by herself, and was really nice, but when I got back to work, there was no sauce at all. It was on my receipt, but it wasn't on the food, not on the side, not anywhere. So what I basically had was a pile of raw salmon and dry white rice and toppings. I tried to eat it, but it was super dry and sticky, and I couldn't go back to just get the sauce because I couldn't leave work. I left it in the fridge and took a picture the next day, and took the picture and my receipt back to see if I could get a replacement bowl, or my money back. The guy behind the register had to call his manager, who told him he was only allowed to give me a side cup of the sauce. Which didn't do me any good now, because I wasn't comfortable eating raw fish the day after I ordered it. I only kept the original bowl to be able to take the picture, so they knew I didn't eat it and was just trying to get a new bowl for free. So no replacement bowl, and no money back. I paid $20, including tip, and ended up just eating that payment. Really, really frustrating. If you're going to have new workers with no manager around, you should have a better system of correcting errors when they happen. Offering a free drink or dessert even would have been better than nothing, but their solution was just for me to take the new side sauce and eat raw fish a day later. The food is good, so I may still go back in the future, but I'll definitely be much more likely to check everything is correct before I go.
