We've come a couple times for a late brunch and it's so good! A little hidden gem! The food is excellent but most especially the chicken pesto sandwich, not sure if they make pesto in house or what but it's very tasty. They have a lot of cool different drinks and we've enjoyed everything we've had. The employees are all so incredibly sweet and helpful!! They have a couple little games you can play and it's just really cute inside, they also have an outdoor seating area. Will of course be back!

Cute spot with free wifi! They also serve Taiwanese food in addition to milk tea drinks. You can get combo meals that come with entree, milk tea and a side dish such as potstickers. I enjoyed their black bean noodle soup. They have a few seats with outlets as well so it's great for studying working on your laptop. Service is also very efficient!

A nice little cafe in Azusa with an array of teas, coffees, and bites to eat! + tasty drinks + popcorn chicken is great. I also enjoy the curry as well! +/- beef donburi tasted good but portion of the beef was definitely small + easy parking, open lot shared with other businesses + clean restroom + free Wi-Fi + great place to do work + great for nearby students to catch or up work on homework + they have a happy hour with drink/food special

    Matcha Hokkaido Milk Tea

I ordered the matcha Hokkaido milk tea yet I received watered down creamy milk.. Im disappointed and it was a waste of money. The rest of my order was good but I 100% would NOT recommend their matcha drinks...

I used to love this café. As a college student, I was a regular and would come here all the time to study. The main reason I stopped coming is because of the consistent unfriendliness from the barista with colored hair and glasses. She is always rude for no reason and communicates everything with an unnecessarily harsh tone. For example, since I came so often, I expected at least a little bit of patience. One time, I came in to study while waiting for my boyfriend to arrive so that we could order together. She came up to me multiple times as I was sitting down, rushing me to order, and was rude even after I explained I was waiting for someone. The drinks here are genuinely good that's why I always chose this place over every other boba spot in Azusa. However, my most recent experience is what pushed me to finally leave a final review. It was 8 PM, and they close at 9 PM. My boyfriend and I wanted drinks with honey boba. She said, "Let me see if we have boba," which was surprising because boba is their most popular topping. With an hour left until closing, how is there not enough boba? She checked and said there was enough for two drinks if we got "light boba." I found that insulting because why would we pay full price for the topping but receive less of it? If they're giving less product, there should at least be a discount for the inconvenience. We decided to take our business elsewhere. When we let her know, she responded in a rude tone again, insisting we "could still get boba," even though it wasn't the amount we wanted. There's no reason to pay for a drink that wasn't going to be made how we wanted it. The way she handled the situation was dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, her attitude and lack of customer service completely ruin what used to be one of my favorite boba spots. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back because her behavior reflects poorly on the business. Anyways, we decided to go to BobaPop Tea Bar that was less than 1 minute away and they were able to fulfill our request of honey boba.

My daughter attends APU and she discovered this cute little cafe across the street from the University when she started last year. I finally tried it with her while waiting for a show to start at the school and now I'd say we are regulars. My daughter switches her drink every time and I usually get a Milk tea which is perfectly made every time. Popcorn chicken, sesame balls and lumpia are a few of our favs! I mean come on....they have lumpia, I was sold, haha. We love this place and will continue to support this small business. Customer service is always excellent and it's always clean inside!

We came to Citrus college for an event and happened to find this place on Yelp. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown the large menu of choices. After ordering, we found a seat in this cozy restaurant, which was well lit and clean. There's free WiFi and it's a nice friendly atmosphere inside. The food came quickly and was the perfect temperature. The flavors were authentic and exactly what we were hoping for. They give a frequency card for the drinks too, so come back for more bonuses. Also, the boba was just made so it was nice and warm at the bottom of the ice drink--boba was a good texture/chewiness. ----TL;DR---- Pros: friendly service, orders came out quickly and were flavorful and the perfect temperature. Prices are reasonable. Cons: small-ish place so if you have a large party it might be limited on seating if it's peak hours. Bottom Line: loved it here and would love to come back again. If you crave Taiwanese Sausage and popcorn chicken, definitely stop in.

Probably the worst popcorn chicken that I ever had. Tastes like rubber (hot rubber) and no flavor. End up throwing it away. Waste of money.

The store is located in a little plaza by the in n out. Found parking easily. I tried the army stew pot, beef donburi and strawberry yogurt drink. Yes, triple digit weather and ordered the stew...and still tasted fantastic haha. On the spicier side so we had said to make mild. Donburi was also good but i really liked the stew. The strawberry yogurt drink was not too sweet and pretty refreshing in this weather. Service is top notch. She would come to check on us. And the decor inside was very cute.

I visited Cafe Bungalow today with my sister. The sweet potato fries and vanilla latte were great, which is why I'm giving it three stars. However, I'm not rating it higher due to the customer service. My sister took a small table to read, and I took a larger one nearby to work, since it had more space for my stuff. When I first arrived, the large table was dirty, and since the barista was busy, I decided to clean it myself. But the barista then shouted at me, telling me not to move the plates and to put them back. I think there was a more polite way to handle that, as I was only trying to help. The situation got stranger when she served us our drinks. She asked my sister if she wanted to move to my larger table to make room for more customers. My sister and I were already settled in, with all of our things out, and there were hardly any other customers in the shop at the time (see attached picture). There were 16 seats open. We were confused and didn't move, but the barista seemed annoyed. I ended up staying for a few more hours, and the shop never got crowded. This interaction made both my sister and I uncomfortable. My sister, who is a barista herself, said she would never ask a customer to move in that way.

Small place but plenty of seating.

Great service, friendly staff all the time! I've had the chicken and shrimp fried rice, imo the shrimp is better. I've had a mango slushee and it was delicious! I usually go do homework there. It can start quiet but can get loud, it just depends on the customers/children. They have a couple of board games to play with. The vibes are great! They also have a stamp cards for drinks only, don't forget to get one!

A simple and nice tea place with good eats and drinks. Came on a Friday night and wasn't too busy. We ordered through the kiosk and sat in the restaurant. These are what I had. Wintermelon Milk Tea - Was a solid milk tea and wasn't overly sweet. I was good. (4.5/5) Beef Donburi - This tasted good but I think it lacked content. Too little beef, it definitely needs more. This is pretty small portions so you may need to add a few snacks on the side. (4/5) Popcorn chicken rice with curry - Now this is good. Popcorn chicken was crispy and with curry on the side it really hit. I got the extra spicy curry and it was a tad spicy but not too bad. This is a must get! (5/5) Overall the food and drinks were solid. I didn't really like that the food came out on paper plates since it didn't really look as nice but the drink came is a cute cup. I'd be back to try more of their tasty snacks.

Curry fries needed more curry seasoning
    Dewi A.

I'd rate this cafe 2.5 stars -- the pros: plenty of seating, staff were friendly, and there is a variety of both food and drinks on the menu. However, the cons were the drinks were not made up to par -- they were either too sweet or SEVERELY lacking in any real flavor. For example, the pumpkin chai latte, both hot and iced, tasted more milky and creamy than anything else; it needed more pumpkin syrup and chai flavor. The sour cream and onion fries were anything but! Instead of the flavor you'd typically associate with 'sour cream and onion,' the fries tasted like they were dusted in cinnamon. They were sweet! The curry fries needed more curry powder -- the staff seemed to have dusted only the top. So when you dig in, the fries at the bottom are devoid of any curry seasoning. How about coating the fries more evenly? We had to ask for more curry powder. The fries in general could be crispier -- most of them were soggy ... who likes bland, soggy fries? The fried mushrooms had a very strange, CHEWY texture. Flavor was OK, but the chewiness may throw some people off. What kind of mushrooms are these?! The beef lumpia were very thin, and honestly for the price of these food and drink items, nothing here is worth the money. We don't mind forking over money if the items we spent on are actually GOOD. Everything just missed the mark here, which is really a shame. There are many, many boba shops around that offer better.

At the time, my own area had lost electricity too, so their kindness really meant a lot. A year later, in May 2026, I came back because I could not stop thinking about the guava pastry I had tried before -- and somehow it was EVEN better than I remembered. It was so good I completely forgot to take a picture before eating the whole thing I also ordered a ham sandwich on a jalapeño bagel with everything on it, and it was amazing. That one at least survived long enough for a photo! The location is tucked inside a business-looking building, so if you see the UPS sign, you're in the right spot. There's also a fingerprint scanning place in the same area. Inside is super cute and cozy with seating to hang out. It's not the most private if you want a quiet solo space, but it's perfect for meeting up with a friend for coffee or a little friend date. Highly recommend -- not just for the food, but for the kindness and community they showed when people needed it most.

There were three employees behind the counter, but it didn't feel like there was any sense of urgency. The young lady at the register had an unpleasant attitude, and instead of focusing on orders, she turned around and started chatting and flirting with a coworker. It honestly felt like they weren't prioritizing getting orders done, which made the whole experience worse. I've had much better experiences during the weekdays, especially when the older women is there service is quicker and more professional. Overall, this visit left me pretty pissed. The coffee didn't even taste the same as it usually does. I hope management looks into improving weekend staffing and customer service. To your response : I read your response, and honestly, it comes off more defensive than helpful. You can list timestamps, review footage, and explain internal processes all you want, but none of that changes the actual customer experience. We waited around 18 minutes for drinks in what looked like an empty café. If there were multiple orders ahead of us, that clearly wasn't communicated, and that's part of the problem. Trying to discredit my review by saying it's "not supported by the facts" is a bit much. My review reflects exactly what we experienced standing there. From our point of view, there was a lack of urgency, and the staff did not appear focused on getting orders out. That's not an "attack," it's an observation. Also, the tone of your response is pretty telling. Instead of acknowledging how the situation could have been handled better from a customer perspective, you chose to argue and basically suggest we're wrong. That's not a great look for a business. At the end of the day, you're focused on defending your team, and I'm focused on the experience I had and it wasn't a good one. I stand by what I said.

Just well-executed. The space is clean, calm, and feels intentional -- which already puts it ahead of most spots in the San Gabriel Valley. Outside of a few places in Pasadena, real specialty coffee is rare around here, so this was a pleasant surprise. They also sell quality beans to go (huge plus), and the staff is friendly enough -- maybe a little edge here and there, but that's basically part of the modern coffee shop experience at this point. I came for the coffee anyway. Bottom line: this is one of the very few places in the area actually doing it right. I'll happily keep coming back to -- Elite badge or not.

Tried MUGS Coffee Roasters in San Dimas for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The barista at…read morethe register greeted us promptly and wanted to take our order. The menu online had a Spanish iced latte but I didn't see it on their actual menu. When I asked if they could make that she said yes :) Didn't take long to make the drink. The latte tasted good not too sweet. We were the only customers in there until another group of two came in so it was pretty quiet inside. The place is very clean has cute decor. Small area for sitting. They also sell merch there.
