Great laundromat. Big space lots of machines and a good bathroom and vending machines even

I wish I could find better things to say about this laundromat but if I'm honest, the only reason I come here is due to the proximity to my apartment. I totally understand that businesses have had to raise prices due to inflation and the economy in general, but the increases here have been rough over the past few years. Dryers were initially 7 minutes for 25 cents when I first started going here, those minutes are now 5 for 25. Washer prices have increased from $3 to $3.75 for the smallest option, with the large one being closer to $10 for just one (albeit, large) load. If the washers and dryers were new and clean it'd be one thing, but they're constantly breaking and out of order. To use the machines, you'll need to pay $1 for a card that you then load money onto. However, the chips on these cards are very fragile. The first card I had stopped working within just a few months, and when I went to exchange it for a new one they charged me for it, saying it was my fault that the card was damaged. Instead of getting upset I genuinely asked the staff what I could do to preserve this new card. He recommended not keeping the card in my wallet, and instead leaving it in a ziploc back, which I've done for the past year. It has recently started malfunctioning here and there, so I'm sure I'll be due for another one soon. TL;DR - Only good if you live close by. read more

Very bad experience at this laundromat. One of the employees--an Asian man who is always there and seems to be in charge, though I don't know his actual role--is extremely rude and unprofessional. One day I started a machine (28-minute cycle) and came back after 15 minutes. I saw him messing with my machine, turning it off and changing the settings from hot to cold water without asking me. He couldn't explain why because he barely speaks English, and the lady who came to help just said, "It was his fault," without giving me any real answer. I asked for a refund and they told me to leave my clothes and come back. When I returned two hours later, my clothes were still wet in the same machine. Today, I had another issue. The machine was full of soap and didn't work properly. They claimed I used too much soap, which I know is not true because I always use the same amount. Previously, a machine charged my card but wouldn't start because of a door issue. I had to move everything to another machine and start over--more money, more detergent, more time wasted. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and the place is dirty and disorganized. You can't get clear answers or decent service. I've started going to another laundromat on 30th Avenue and 49th Street instead--much cleaner, more polite staff, and better service overall. Would not recommend this place at all. read more

Best Laundry Mat Ever! Large, spacious and the owner and staff are always so helpful. The drop off services and dry cleaning (they send out) are very affordable. I appreciate how when I do drop off all my items are sorted and neatly folded. I have zero complaints about this place and have been coming here for over a decade. The management also has gotten awards from local groups. Great business in the community. There is customer parking in the back if you have a car. Jay C you da BEST! read more

I spent my entire life in a house in Astoria and have recently left the nest and now live in an apartment just a two blocks away. I never noticed how convenient having my own washer dryer was!!! But anyway now I have to send out my laundry or drop it off. They left a little flier with a coupon in my mailbox so I said heck, why not. I chose the pick up / drop off service. Everything was wonderful, from pick up to drop off. The reason I am leaving 4 stars and not 5 is because when I gave them my laundry I had given it in two bags, as one was going to be packed and would have made my life SO easy to have them already folded in the proper piles. But when I got the laundry back it was all in one bag. BUMMER. But, should I need to do laundry again, via pick up and drop off, and don't need my items in separate bags I will go back, for sure. They are the best, kind, friendly, and incredibly good at their jobs. Super speedy and communicative.

I am an active user of this service and there had been a couple issues but I let them slide: one of which, a dress was ruined by being left to dry on a dusty hanger. They rectified by dry cleaning and fixing it, but it took 2 weeks from start to finish. Most recently, I had an expensive item (from lulu lemon) go missing after sending it. Lindy checked the cameras and because she saw nothing there did not offer to replace it (although it shouldn't be on me when my items are lost). The two stars I gave were for communication as it was direct and pick up was always prompt (though drop off was sometimes delayed). I don't feel comfortable giving my items to this service as I feel they could go missing again- and I know there will be no accountability or promotion offered read more

They sold me water down tide soap. It was very liquidy, almost poured the whole thing down when l was putting in the soap. When l confronted the service person he said nothing, and knew nothing. He was sleeping and went back to sleep. l think its time they were reported to the department of consumer affairs. If they altering the soap and doubling the price that's fraud. l am stuck with this place. read more

I wash there regularly and the laundromat is okay. The only issue I've encountered is in the parking lot. The entire neighborhood seems to park there overnight. And then in the morning, the school faculty come in and park for the day. This leaves the people doing wash nowhere to park. That is not fair to the laundry customers. There are signs stating your car will be towed, but they are not enforcing those signs. I will find another laundromat that gives a toss about their customers. read more

I have been ordering pickup and delivery laundry services from here for about 6 months now after trying almost every other laundromat in the area. Once or twice there was a mistake but they made up for it and I continue using their service because they recognize me when I call, they do what I ask and they're on time (more or less) with deliveries and pickups. I really appreciate a business that I can always depend on to help me get my stuff done and at a reasonable price. Thank you so much for existing! read more

BEWARE! Horrendous service and the worker there barely speaks a word of English. I went there because I had spilled some water on my blanket and it was late at night so they were the closest 24 hour laundromat. I go there to dry my blanket, when the guy there states that I have to wash and dry there to use the dryer. I stated that I just spilled some water on my blanket and if it was the problem of money that I can pay a bit extra just to use the dryer. The worker than proceeds to look at me confused and keeps saying that he doesn't understand and just kicks me out. Horrendous service. Never going back here again! read more

The clothes came back unwashed and dirty as it was before when I sent them. All the stains are still on the sheets and pillow covers. The lost my belt that was on my dress. The manager is not responsive. The worst laundry experience ever! I don't recommend this laundry such a waste of time and money. read more

Did my first laundry drop off here the other day. It was ready when they said it would be, it was a great price, and I'm very happy with the service. They even found a necklace that I had left in my pocket! Would highly recommend their drop off service and will continue to do my laundry here. read more

Still amazing! We only use Best Today's Laundromat now for laundry and dry cleaning. They do same day deliveries, next day dry cleaning - and every single time they do a wonderful job! The woman who answers the phone is so incredibly sweet, and the delivery guy is also very nice. We've never had missing clothes, or ruined clothes. Our clothes come back smelling so good and so clean. Love this place! read more

I went 4 days ago . To drop my laundry . Next day I picked it up . The front desk clerk was very nice my cloths came out spotless
