No two moves are the same, and mine is no exception. The crew showed up on time (to the minute!) and quickly assessed my needs (moving from apartment above detached garage into the main house and unpacking an enclosed trailer full of heavy tools and shop equipment). In my case, it was simply a hourly rate (2 hour minimum plus drive time since I am way out in rural land). The guys carefully moved all my stuff (including an extra heavy mattress around a metal spiral staircase - worth the price of the whole job right there). So while they didn't transport any of my stuff any distance, given the care they took, I wouldn't hesitate in the future if I needed to. Professional and efficient. This is a long overdue review of Best Way Movers. I have used them with two moves in the last 6 years and one assist (Moving super heavy antiques from one room to another, from upstairs to downstairs). This last and hopefully final move was from a big storage unit in El Dorado Hills, then including a smaller storage on Missouri Flat to the rental house to the final stop: our newly purchased house. We have a lot of stuff! We had 2 trucks and 5 guys! We own 6 super heavy antique pieces of furniture. Big heavy tool stuff, Horse stuff, etc. One piece of antique has curved glass, another has carved wood designs. They are gorgeous and irreplaceable. The guys are knowledgeable, careful and professional with packaging them, moving and handling, taking apart and putting them back together. I've used them specifically because of that. Any thing else we own is a piece of cake for them. This company is the best in El Dorado County hands down. They are punctual, professional, efficient and just a great team of good guys. Its comforting to see the same group each time I use them, there isn't a turnover of men. In my opinion that says a lot for the company that keeps steady employees. After they unload the trucks they set up the beds and mattresses, they ask if you want to change anything before they leave....they put together whatever you need. They work hard and have a smooth rhythm amongst themselves with the occasional singing, jokes and laughter...like one big family. My husband and I moved from Camino to El Dorado Hills. Because of their 5-star ratings here on Yelp, and wanting to support local businesses in the area, I selected Best Way Movers. Ricky, the owner, alongside Jamie both responded in a timely fashion, via email, when I inquired about their availability for a certain date. Both Ricky and Jamie were good at communicating prior to our moving date. On the day of our move Ricky contacted me to let me know the approximate time they would arrive and how many people were coming. Upon arrival at our former home, Ricky was there for a brief moment to greet my husband, and to let us know that we were in good hands with his crew. Victor (I believe he is the foreman) and the rest of the crew were polite and also took the time to go over (with my husband) as to what items they were going to move. Their moving style were different from what I was used to with other moving companies during prior moves. What I mean by this is that they are sufficient in packing the items, etc. without having to waste any time and materials, such as, wrapping things in a case of saran wrap and taking things apart that need not be taken apart. They simply moved things along in a very sufficient, yet professional way. When they arrived at our new home, we were surprised (in a very good way) that they brought in four more people to speed the process of unloading things. I highly recommend Best Way Movers.
