If I could give ten stars I would. The owner, Josh, personally moved me from Sacramento to Texas and let me tell you, this was the best moving experience I have ever had. Moving is extremely stressful, yet, as soon as I met Josh and his team, all of that stress disappeared. The attention to detail and care for your personal belongings is something you will never receive from large freight companies. Josh genuinely cares about his clients and its shows. He took great care in making sure all of my prized possessions made it safely to their final destination. Not only was the loading and move seamless, the set up at my new home was wonderful as well. As I had never been to my new home in person, Josh sent videos of each room to confirm where my items were to be placed. Side note, he even transported my plants and watered them as they were quite thirsty after the long hall. I hired U-Haul to set up delivery of a U-Box with two movers. Thank God they subcontracted Moving Solutionz and sent Joshua!! That man has GENIUS Tetris skills and fit more in that box than anyone could have possibly imagined!! Amazing! I hired Moving Solutionz based on a referral. I was glad they were able to accommodate a short notice but I didn't realize the service would fall short. I was moving from a 1200 sq. ft apartment (I did the packing), the only disassemble required was the master room bed and two TVs in the bedrooms. It took (3) men 5ish hours to load the moving truck. It was the most inefficient moving I have ever witnessed. There was a constant need for the lead mover to direct the other guy what to do. It was evident that he was not as experienced and had no business being on the job (it was a family member). The moving truck was not large enough to bring everything. I was asked to make choices on what to leave behind. The lead mover indicated he was not aware of all the boxes which caused the space issue. This was a bit perplexing as I included approximately (27) boxes in my quote. Perhaps what should have been asked is the size of the boxes. I did have a few "large" size boxes and a (3) large garment boxes but that should have not been the reason for them to run out of space. I had to donate a couple of tables plus my little electric BBQ because there was just no room and I was not going to be able to move it myself another day. I was told to decide if I really want to take my 50inch screen TV. Really? I made it very clear there was no way that TV would fit in my little SUV. I had purchased a special TV specific box from U-Haul for my TV but they ended up placing the TV unboxed in the back seat of the truck. During transportation, the base of the TV was snapped off. I reached out to the owner about this and all he did was forward my text to the lead mover for my job. The lead mover reached out to me, apologized, and offered to mount the TV but that was not permitted in my lease agmt. I never heard back from anyone after that messaging. Low class for an owner to make an employee pay out of pocket and worse, to not even respond to me. I have a nice outdoor patio set that was missing a cushion. I asked the lead mover if they found it in the truck and he confirmed they did find it. I asked if someone could drop it off but it's been two weeks so I'm guessing that's a lost cause. Overview, 1200 square foot apartment, billed for 11 hours of move time (yes that includes drive time), so that means total actual moving time was 6.5 hours! Read that again, 3 men, 1200 square foot apartment, 6.5 hours! Ran out of space, had to donate some furnishings due to space issue, broken TV, and I had to make a 2nd trip to load all the other items that did not fit in the truck. This was by far the worst moving experience ever. I see there are lots of good reviews for this company, so maybe I just got the C- team. I think the guy that was responsible for organizing the truck was working hard and doing the best he could. It just goes to show, if you have one person that's completely inefficient or not experienced, it can throw the entire team off and create a bad situation. Just to give you an example of what I mean by inefficient, at one point he was carrying one pillow from the moving truck into my house. PS: don't get me started on the large garment box labeled master upstairs bedroom left in the garage and one left in the living room (sigh). read more

We had what I believe was a simple move within Roseville. Our family had already moved a good majority of stuff. Just really needed the furniture and boxes moved. When we got to our new place, it is on the 3rd floor, and we have an elevator. Joshua had appropriately priced the move with an elevator in place, but, the elevator was out of order! Are you kidding me? While I was on the phone with the property, it was clear the elevator was not going to be fixed in time, but Joshua and his crew did not miss a beat, and started hauling all our furniture up three flights of stairs as my son helped out as well. The guys did a great job, but I felt horrible that they had to climb the three floors. They didn't miss a beat! Joshua's correspondence was a little "slow" in securing the move. I know he was busy, and a little short staffed, but he always got back to me. I just had to trust that he was going to show up the day of the move, in which of course he did. I had wanted to negotiate a lower price because I didn't need a couple of the services he quoted me for (packing boxes and wrapping the furniture), but I never really heard back. After the move was over, I simply paid him his asking rate because the job they did without the use of the elevator......which was repaired shortly after they left! Challenging moving day made peaceful by a solid crew. We moved from Mather to Rocklin and had 3000sq ft of stuff in a 2200 sq ft home and moved into an 1800sq ft home. Very tough 2 story home down to single story. Lots of big heavy furniture and 2 small kids and a dog. Could have been a mess. However up until late the next day Josh was there for us to ensure all the beds and dressers were out together. His crew worked longer than expected but the price stayed the same. Used Moving Solutionz this summer. A few hours after using them our home that we had moved some items from was broken into and robbed. One of the movers asked for the gate code when he arrived and I thought that was odd. Same one also heard that we would be gone for the next 24 hours. ( we had been gone 2 weeks! prior to this move with no issues, my husband even accidentally left our master bedroom window open). After the move, they left the home we were moving things into and an hour and 15 minutes later our main home was broken into. The camera shows that they made 3 trips, probably to a storage unit. Unfortunately. the footage is grainy due to it being an older camera. Now call that coincidence that an hour and 15 minutes after the move our main home was broken into? Then I was quoted a very low amount for the move originally, and I even clarified by text to see if that was correct. Josh sent me a generic text back that did not really answer my question. In the end I pay 3x's more than the original quote. I would stay clear of this company. read more
