Good location with amazing staff! Quick overnight stay n Dinuba to ride my bike in Reedley to see the blossoms... The location for cycling was nice because the road was temporarily closed off for construction and traffic was late. It was also close enough to local businesses. In short: Check-in was easy. Parking was plentiful and easy, The girl working the front counter was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Prices were reasonable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was offered. Although I did not use them, there was a pool and Jacuzzi area. The only downside, was there was no fitness room. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again. read more

We had a very enjoyable stay this weekend. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the rooms are clean and the property is very quiet. It's remote, but pleasant. Their breakfast has a lot of options, scrambled eggs, sausage, tater tots, cereal, fruit, fresh waffles with many topping options. The hotel could use some love. There are areas suffering from age. Fix some things, and it would be a 5 rating from us. It's fairly clean but can use a step up from housekeeping. read more

I was rented a room with plumbing issues in the bathroom. The toilet regularly clogged and management thought it was ok to put a plunger on a plastic bag as a solution. For the record, this is not ok, this room should never have been rented in this condition. Additionally, the shower had a significant faucet leak (6-7 ounces per minute which equals about 3 gallons per hour or about 70 gallons per day) which is not only a large waste of water but it was noisy and disturbing. Management never offered us a different room. This alone made this the worst Best Western Experience I have had. Other than that, the room was clean and the pool was nice. read more

Friendly staff. Very quiet rooms, great job on soundproofing the walls. Despite there is a busy road nearby, you can sleep without noise. This is a huge plus for those who want to rest and relax after a long drive. The room with two queen beds was comfortable for three people. I think more tables for the breakfast area would help. This hotel has old banged-up furniture, no elevators, only one sink for bathroom, leaky toilet, shower curtain rod was broken and hanging down, very dirty and worn carpet in hallways, extremely small breakfast area that people checking in or out must walk through to exit hotel. No pen and note paper in room. Compare this location to the Best Western in Rancho Cucamonga, California, hands down this one in Denuba, California is terrible. read more

If you have a family this place is not safe. At around 1 am my husband, baby and I were woken up by loud screams. There was someone banging doors, running and yelling extremely loud. As a mother I was terrified.. thinking the worse. I was afraid to go see what happening. After about an hour of the screaming a staff came down to access the situation. I paid almost $150 a night to not rest or feel safe. In the morning no one was in the front desk and when we asked housekeeping if we could talk to a receptionist they were informed to just tell us to put our key cards on the desk. They knew people would want a refund or at least an explanation of last night incident. I do not recommend this place at all especially for families! read more

Very happy with my stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I had a great night's sleep. It was very quiet. No traffic could be heard in my room and I never heard loud noise or talking from the other hotel guests. Perfect place to really get some sleep. Rooms have a fridge and a microwave as well as cable tv and free WiFi. I liked the separate black hand towel they provided that you can use to remove your cosmetics. Right now during Covid-19, the breakfast is grab and go. You call the front desk and give them about 10 minutes to get it ready for you. You can eat it in your room or in the car. It includes a banana, a granola bar, yogurt, apple juice, and a danish pastry. I miss the hot food, but this will do during these times. Still, a hard boiled egg or a wrapped egg and cheese breakfast sandwich would be nice. There is also a pool. I would recommend staying here for the nice man at the front desk, the peaceful night's sleep, and the comfortable and clean rooms. Tip: This hotel is cheaper if you are headed out to Sequoia National Park. There are hotels closer by, but I personally didn't mind driving the extra 20 minutes from here in order to save money. Super friendly manager and staff, nice room with comfortable bed. Clean and very quiet when we stayed there so getting a good night's sleep before heading out to Sequoia was easy! No leafblowers, lawnmowers, noisy people, barking dogs or traffic that could be heard inside the room when we were there. Quietest hotel I ever stayed at and I've been to quite a few. Food was good and the room and bathroom spacious for the price. The toilet and sink/vanity located in another room from the shower which saves time if someone wants to get ready while another takes a shower. I stayed for 6 nights and appreciate how detailed the staff is in keeping patrons safe. There is a complimentary breakfast and everyone wears masks and gloves. The rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. The pool is well kept and grounds as well. Location is optimal, considering close proximity to outdoor activities. Great restaurants nearby and the staff will offer suggestions. All staff members are pleasant. I will stay again when in the area. read more

I was lucky enough to win a night at this Best Western Americana at the Travel expo. We were greeted by the owner and he was very nice and knowledgeable of the area as well as the Sequoia. Everything there was super clean and up kept by someone who really cared for this hotel. The room was very clean and the one bedroom suite had 2 TVs so we didn't have to fight over the tv. It had a wet bar so it was very nice! AC were able to be adjusted separately in bedroom and living room. Extra Towels were available when we went for a swim in the pool. Perfect temperature for the weather and it was well lit to use in the evening. This hotel is close to supermarkets, restaurants and I think even a Walmart! Perfect place to stay before or after visiting the Sequoia! The morning complementary breakfast was EXCELLENT! The owner cooked up his homeland Moroccan potatoes-Wow! Amazing! Of course there were eggs, sausage, fruit, breads, cereal, danish, yogurt and you can make fresh waffles as well! I have to say, it's way more than what to expect when it's complementary. The owner continuously wiped the counter and kept the eating area clean and tidy as well as keeping it well stocked. Overall, our stay was more than satisfied! I felt it was better than a 5star hotel! I will definitely revisit (my kids said they LOVE this place) and stay there again when I visit the Sequoia!!! This place was alright, but not the best Best Western. It is a super small hotel so there is no gym, but there is a pool outside. The pool wasn't heated so the front desk told us that if we wanted to use it to let them know and it would be about an hour to heat it. The pillows were way too thick so I had to sleep on my side so that I didn't get a neck ache. I was also surprised that the room only had a moisturizing shampoo, but no conditioner. There was a small continental breakfast offered in the morning that included a waffle machine, some bananas and apples, packaged oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice. Nothing special. I had some packaged oatmeal (too much sugar for my liking) with a banana mixed in because I am vegan. There also aren't really many food options nearby. read more

The hotel lied to me when I tried to cancel. Terrible customer service. I would never recommend this property. Stay somewhere else!!!

DO NOT! I can't stress this enough, DO NOT stay in this hotel, especially if you have toddlers! If I could give this -00 stars I would! I NEVER stayed at a hotel where we felt harassed by the manager! My family and I stayed above the check in area with the only balcony this hotel had so we knew we were above them. Mind you, we have 2 toddler kids and we've drove 8 hours to get there so we're pretty tired when we got there, as soon as we walked in our hotel, 1 min later, we got a call from this manager saying Ma'am we had a couple complaints about movements in youre room." 1 min after we got there! So don't tell me whoever complained walked so fast and talked to him within less than a minute and he's already calling about the noise! He's the one that's complaining and he's disgustingly rude about it! And he's using some "elderly couple" as an excuse. He's the fucking general manager! He doesn't know any hospitality whatsoever! I don't know how this guy is still working there after I've read so many complaints about him on this app and yes I looked at the review after that rude incidents and I wish I read it before booking but it was such a spontaneous plan we had. And he didn't just called us 1 time, he called us the 2nd night we got home from our trip! Same time! Same complaint and same excuse! First of all, if you have toddlers no matter how hard you try to stop them from walking or running, it's impossible to stop them right then and there. They didn't even stomped or run, they just literally walked around and he can already hear the noise! It's not our fault their ceiling wall is so thin and cheaply made. So when the kids try to walk, us being nice people, we had to monitor them making sure they're not stomping. We tried to even keep them in the bed cuz he would keep calling and he doesn't hesitate either. You shouldn't have to worry about that coming to a hotel! You're supposed to feel relaxed and welcomed! Not there! I've never had this experienced at any hotel we stayed at! My sisters confronted him after we check out and told him how rude he is and how he shouldn't treat his guess like that! He's still try to defend himself and when there's people walking around, he's starting to apologize to make himself look good. We stayed there 2 nights and every night knowing we're heading to that awful hotel, we dread it! That's not something you should feel. You just don't! I will never in my life, come back here! I highly highly DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT recommend this place, especially to a family with small children! FYI! If you're open to paranormal stuff, there something there. My son who's 4 did not like the vibe of the hotel, every time we got there, he wouldn't want to stay, he keeps crying and want to go to the car, he's seeing something we can't! We stay at Best Westerns very often, nearly everyday when we're working all across the valley. We recently tried to stay at there place but they wouldn't allow us in. We booked a room under my name and came to check in. They didn't even ask for IDs or anything. They said since one of your guys came in before you, you can't get a key card. I'm like come on man! It's 2 am and you're gonna tell me I can't get a key card. Luckily our guy woke up and opened the door for us. One of the worst customer service hotels. It was a pleasant experience staying here. I was a little nervous because I saw a review posted a day before my stay...saying that there's bedbugs. The staff assured us that was not the case. Stayed here with family while in the area for a funeral and I wanted to leave a review because I was so impressed with the place. The staff was super nice and even let us stay at the pool past closing because it was so hot! The rooms were clean and updated. The kids loved all the channels available on the TV! Our room had a microwave and mini fridge both were clean. Don't let the chipping paint on the outside scare you away, this place is above par for the area and Best Western's in general and I've stayed at many all over the state. Pros: Friendly staff, awesome waffles!! Nice pool area. Cons: The breakfast area is really tiny so you might have to take your plate back to your room or stand around and eat while waiting for someone at the two tables to finish. read more

My granddaughter and I and her 4 month old baby needed a place to stay during a recent move. We checked in this hotel at 10:30 pm and before I could bring up our overnight bags my granddaughter calls me and said there were bugs on the bed. I went up and looked and she said it jumped off and went under the other bed. She did get a picture of it and it looked like a bedbug. I called the front desk and told him what happened. He said he could place us in another room and he wasn't sure if the room we were in had been sprayed. We didn't feel safe with the baby so we told him we were leaving. He apologized and said since we didn't use the room we would be reimbursed. I paid 137.00 and when I checked my bank account after three days I was reimbursed half. I called to asked why when we only were there a little over and hour but no response. I left email message to HR and still no answer.; I'll never go to that bedbug infested place again read more

Stayed here after going to a wedding in Kingsburg. Staff was nice and friendly, the room was extremely spacious, clean, large AC unit, modern furnishing, and most importantly their beds were comfy with good fluffy pillows. Plus their tv remotes are left in "sanitized" baggies to let you know they were cleaned, attention to small details shows me they're thorough. Tip: Dominos delivers late straight to your hotel room. They woke me up at 4am for not reason, I called back to the front office to see what was going on and nobody never answered , not even breakfast was serve. This hotel was a pleasant surprise in Dinuba. We stayed for 4 days while enjoying Kings Canyon National Park. We also wanted to bring our small, well-behaved dog (a mini poodle), and the manager was willing to accommodate him with a reasonable extra cleaning fee (we checked about this in advance). Check-in was easy, and the room was nicely updated, large, and very clean. At night, the rooms were very quiet. I read in some other reviews that some nonsmoking areas smelled of smoke, but I'm truly hypersensitive to smoke and I did not notice anything amiss. So perhaps that issue has been addressed. Breakfast was included and it was a notch above your average Best Western-type breakfast. Options included cereal, toast, pastries, waffles, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and tea. On weekends, there were hot scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. They were even able to provide some almond milk for me when I asked (I'm lactose intolerant). I also appreciated that, when they said there was breakfast until 10am, it was really fully available until 10:00am, or even 10:15am. They did not start packing everything away at 9:45am, which I've seen at other places. Coffee and tea are available all day, which is nice. There is also a nice pool and hot tub/jacuzzi. The pool is a bit older, but immaculately clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed a swim after a warm day of hiking in the park, and it felt great! read more

The best of Best Westerns. There are many places to eat around here, gas up and they are extremely clean and attentive. I will be making a stop here before the mountains every year if possible with family. It was a great stay for a great price. I rated high because I think this place had better service than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in! It's a good operation. We booked 2 rooms. One for 2 adults and 2 children. Another for one adult and one child. The gentleman and staff were welcoming and really accommodating. The parking lot was safe and the entrance was cozy but nice. Fruit on the counter for a snack. We asked to see the rooms before booking and rest assured they are extremely clean. There were extra blankets on the shelf that smelled good. The towels were bright white. Small bottles of Pantene in case you forgot yours. I asked for one more blanket and they were right on it. A cold mini fridge and microwave. We stopped here from Downey, CA on our way to camp. We rested up for a week long trip in the mountains. We woke up to a kitchenette where we made some decent waffles, syrup, milk, orange juice and hard boiled eggs and little pre packaged danish and apples or bananas for the taking. There are two tables or you can go back to your room. All was included in the price. I thought this was pretty good considering the price was very reasonable. In the same room was a computer and printer, it's not quite a business center but good for quick tasks. I firmly believe you get what you pay for. I paid a fair price and this place was better than I expected. I will be coming back next year :) The kids loved it. Oh and at night I had no trouble sleeping:) Last but not least, there is a CLEAN looking pool outside with a gate and a few chairs. NON-SMOKERS BEWARE. Several family members reserved non-smoking rooms. My room smelled a little weird, but I got used to it. The stairway entrance smelled like a smoker's lounge. Other members of my family had to change rooms because the smoking smell in the non-smoking room was so bad. Another member had to upgrade to a suite because the only regular non-smoking room left was the one that smelled awful. Also, if you are an early riser and want to go to the lobby to hang out waiting for other's to get up - forget it. The lobby is locked until 7 am. The breakfast area is very small. We were lucky one of our group had a suite. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I would not stay here again. read more

Very lousy customer service. Gave a two week notice on reservation change, was told to either pay $25 fee or cancel and get charged the full amount. Called twice to try and change my reservation date without the fee and was told they insist on charging me extra fees. I decided to take my business else where. Consider that this is Dinuba, a working class small central valley town with two hotels to choose from. The hotel was average, and somewhat expensive. It was reasonably clean and comfortable, comparable to a Motel 6 or similar low-end chain. It seems that the hotel is struggling somewhat financially as it has not been updated in awhile. This is a type of hotel with what seems to be a live-in manager, who was very accommodating and nice to us. Even though the hotel was booked the following night, we was able to extend our stay by holding a room that someone canceled later that day for me. Every time we saw the manager throughout our stay he was very cordial and wanted to make sure our stay was fabulous. One of my kids said upon leaving Dinuba, that "wow, the people are friendly here", and can't help but think the hotel manager was one of them. This high level of customer service gets the extra star in my book. read more
