Moldy lamp shade L
Cara G.

Honestly the worst experience and hotel room I have ever seen. We were there for no more than an hour and 30-45 minutes were us trying to find another hotel for our stay. We walked in and there was mold all over the lamp and the trim/floor between the bathroom and into the room was broken. First, I called and made my reservation over the phone and told them we had two dogs. We were never told about the $30 per dog per day.. which is outrageous. Our dogs were cleaner than our room when we walked in. We didn't feel safe. The staff was extremely rude. I went out to the lobby to tell them about the lamp and floor... The man just told me they would send maintenance to change the lamp but didn't understand the floor. I explained again. Showed the photo (we literally just got into the room) and in a roundabout way accused us of breaking the floor. I told him we JUST got into the room. That's how we found it. I would never ever suggest this place to my worst enemy. This place should be investigated for mold and possibly infestation. I suggest any other hotel locally. Don't waste your money or jeopardize your health for this service and quality.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was great! Lots of options for food. Pool was tiny. Staff was not overly friendly. No early checkin available

This was the biggest and itchiest cluster of bites that I received at this hotel. So many!

March 2024 I stayed at the Best Western Executive Inn Kenosha/Plesant Prairie Feb 29-March 3. We were in town for a sporting event at the nearby Plesant Prarie Rec Plex. On the second night of our three-night stay, I was woken up at 4:30am by a stinging sensation on my arms. I had been bitten by bugs!! The next morning I alerted the front desk staff and showed them the bites on my arms. They stared at me stone-faced and didn't seem to care. I was not allowed to switch rooms until hours later. In the meantime, I purchased hydrocortisone and took Benadryl, because the bites itched horribly. The hotel didn't seem to care that there were bugs in their beds, they seemed more concerned about me not telling other guests. My second room was not infested with bugs, but we checked out as soon as we could on the third day. I packed all of my belongings into contractor bags because I wasn't interested in infesting my car or house with the biting bugs from this hotel's beds. I was glad that my child's bed was not infested with bugs and he was not bitten. I received over 30 bites on my arms, face, hands, and back. I developed a severe allergic reaction to the bites and missed a day of work because I was embarrassed by the swelling on my face and lips. As soon as I returned home, I reached out to Best Western's corporate office and requested a refund for my stay. They said the hotel management would process that request. I also emailed the General Manager Mr. Patel and he has neither replied to my email nor my request for a refund. Don't stay at this hotel. They are infested with bugs in their rooms. The bugs are in their beds. And they will bite you.

-Bugs in the bathroom -Urine under the toilet seat which means the toilet hasn't been cleaned properly -Blood on one of the pillow cases which means they haven't been changed -Found 2 pills on the floor -The rug feels so disgusting like it soaked up grease -Candy wrapper on the floor Would give 0 stars if I could!

Friendly staff, my room was clean and that's the most important thing to me. The hotel itself is a little older and the breakfast could use a little tlc but like I said my room was clean. I stayed for three nights this trip but not 100% sure I would pick this one the next time.

We used to live in Kenosha and knew this building as the Heritage House when it was rundown. Since moving away, they have done a beautiful job restoring this building. The decor was swanky and classy. Everything was so clean. We booked a double queen room. The beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge that we used for leftovers (Valeo's!!). There was also a desk that my husband was able to use for working remotely. The black out curtains on the window were legit. The room was very dark at night and into the morning. Also, the ceilings were concrete which made the room SUPER quiet!! That part was also a relief because we have a toddler and his stomping around was not loud in this hotel. Amazing! The staff was always very friendly on our way in and out of the building each day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!!

I specifically chose this property because of its proximity to the starting line of a race I was traveling for. With such short notice, there were no comparable options left nearby, and I ultimately had to cancel the trip altogether. While my money was refunded, there was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to offer any accommodation or alternative solution. Canceling a confirmed reservation at the last minute can seriously disrupt travel plans, and that's exactly what happened here. Very disappointing experience.

There must be new management. The manage mocked us and the fact that they couldn't get the TV to work and said that it must be the satellite. They said nobody else complained but so what. Our TV was not working even if others did. They looked at it and couldn't fix it. They stated that they would give a discount with no way for us to collect the so called discount when I inquired about this so called discount they don't answer the phone and don't call back. I stated that we don't over 200 and did not get what we paid for. The Manager mocked our cost and said some people pay over 300 This hotel is not worth more than a 100 a night with inflation if they would have a working TV but we did not have a working TV What makes it worse is the Manager's mocking us and not caring and the fact that the customer service was horrible Also, the breakfast is so much worse then it used to be Everything is worse except the pool and hot tub. We did not use the pool and hot tub this time but it is the one positive about this hotel It needs to be totally torn down and rebuilt The only tjing that probably keeps it alive and getting guests is that it has a good location by the lake and the harbor Management needs to go or Wyndham is destroying it's brand name

I like how they have both a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The bed is passable however my husband was having back issues the following day. The layout of the hotel is a little odd. Since the building is on a slope, the main lobby is on the 3rd floor, their gym is on the 2nd and the pool is on the 1st. I was hoping to get in an early morning swim so I tried to get to the pool at opening but realized that the pool opens to guests at 9am. I was there way too early so I ended up in the gym for a little bit waiting for the pool. The pool is heated but its not deep. Its 3 feet all around. Hot tub was decent. I was only there for a few minutes and then it started to get busy and then I left. It looks like they've done some refreshes to the lobby and rooms but the exterior entrance tends to have some seedy folk hanging around especially during the night hours. There's clearly understaffing issues because our room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The tub in our bathroom had hair stuck to the tiled backsplash and the window curtains had some questionable dark stains. Parking, Wi-fi and breakfast were complementary. Photos weren't shown. The breakfast spread was above average with sausage patties, fresh egg patties and pancakes. Considering it was Labor Day weekend, we were able to get our King Harborside view for $150/night after taxes.

I'd say from the moment we checked in to checking out, staff were very friendly and would say hello and bye each time we came and left, it felt genuine as well. It really added to the great experience. Room was clean and fairly spacious. It was equipped with a mini fridge and that was perfect for storing our cold items. TV was Netflix capable which was a nice addition. We had to call down for towels one time and a staff brought up towels within 5 minutes. Continental breakfast was included with the stay and many different options were offered. Nice clean dining area to sit at and enjoy your morning meal. Lori was so kind and chatted for a while. She was also so kind to share a jalapeño egg muffin on a day it wasn't on the menu and I'm so appreciative. It was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was there for 4 nights and got no housekeeping. Apparently you are supposed to get housekeeping every other day but they forgot me. So I had to empty my own trash and had to go fetch more toilet paper on my own 2). The refrigerator was way to cold and froze all my food. No option to change the settings. Only option was a button that turned the fridge off for 8 hours.
