We really enjoy our stay! The front desk staff especially Sonny and Crystal our very knowledgeable and friendly ,and both housekeeping and maintenance have been great. Everything has been well taken care of, and it makes our experience very pleasant.  The hotel bar is a great place to relax and the breakfast offers a good variety of options. This has to be the worst one yet. When we walked in, the heater was on scorch and we couldn't breathe for about half an hour of running the air conditioner.The bathroom is so small, you have to shift around the toilet just to close the door. They put us in a room that is on the top floor and the farthest to walk. I have had my trash in the hall for two days with no one emptying it. She tub and shower have black mold spots, and there was a pee stain behind the toilet when we got here. The beds are hard as a rock and half pillows. Here's the creepy thing. There are 3 count them 3 sprinkler heads in this room, and it has those heavy picture frames that makes you feel like someone is watching you. I have stayed in some really nice Best Westerns, but this one is shiny on the outside and creepy on the inside. read more

Honestly the worst experience and hotel room I have ever seen. We were there for no more than an hour and 30-45 minutes were us trying to find another hotel for our stay. We walked in and there was mold all over the lamp and the trim/floor between the bathroom and into the room was broken. First, I called and made my reservation over the phone and told them we had two dogs. We were never told about the $30 per dog per day.. which is outrageous. Our dogs were cleaner than our room when we walked in. We didn't feel safe. The staff was extremely rude. I went out to the lobby to tell them about the lamp and floor... The man just told me they would send maintenance to change the lamp but didn't understand the floor. I explained again. Showed the photo (we literally just got into the room) and in a roundabout way accused us of breaking the floor. I told him we JUST got into the room. That's how we found it. I would never ever suggest this place to my worst enemy. This place should be investigated for mold and possibly infestation. I suggest any other hotel locally. Don't waste your money or jeopardize your health for this service and quality. read more

March 2024 I stayed at the Best Western Executive Inn Kenosha/Plesant Prairie Feb 29-March 3. We were in town for a sporting event at the nearby Plesant Prarie Rec Plex. On the second night of our three-night stay, I was woken up at 4:30am by a stinging sensation on my arms. I had been bitten by bugs!! The next morning I alerted the front desk staff and showed them the bites on my arms. They stared at me stone-faced and didn't seem to care. I was not allowed to switch rooms until hours later. In the meantime, I purchased hydrocortisone and took Benadryl, because the bites itched horribly. The hotel didn't seem to care that there were bugs in their beds, they seemed more concerned about me not telling other guests. My second room was not infested with bugs, but we checked out as soon as we could on the third day. I packed all of my belongings into contractor bags because I wasn't interested in infesting my car or house with the biting bugs from this hotel's beds. I was glad that my child's bed was not infested with bugs and he was not bitten. I received over 30 bites on my arms, face, hands, and back. I developed a severe allergic reaction to the bites and missed a day of work because I was embarrassed by the swelling on my face and lips. As soon as I returned home, I reached out to Best Western's corporate office and requested a refund for my stay. They said the hotel management would process that request. I also emailed the General Manager Mr. Patel and he has neither replied to my email nor my request for a refund. Don't stay at this hotel. They are infested with bugs in their rooms. So disappointed. Our romantic night turn into nightmare. Reserved jacuzzi room. Stood in hallway 45min while they tried to open door. Jacuzzi drain would not plug, faucet handles ready to fall off, loose tiles around it, and black stuff coming out of jets. Was told to rinse & refill. 3 times we tried still black coming out. My daughter recently stayed here while attending the Renaissance fair. First, she has an EV so she called and asked whether they had a charger before she booked. They said yes, but when she arrived, no chargers. That's a problem. Then the room was not clean. Surfaces in the room snd bathroom were discolored and sticky. Next, The air conditioner began smoking during the night; when she investigated, she found the unit to be full of dust and grime. She tried talking to a manager but was told no manager was available. She has tried calling at least six times since her stay and every time is told that no manager is available; she leaves her contact number but never gets a call back. Finally, the price they charged was $50 more than the highest rate listed on the placard in the room, which I believe is illegal. Only plus was that the front desk staff were very nice. read more

My friend and I drove to Wisconsin from Connecticut because her dad was on life support. We needed sleep. The bed needs to be updated, the springs go deep in your back. Around 11 pm we heard a large dog barking. It woke us up out of a deep sleep. Scared, I called the front desk and was transferred to an unkind receptionist. I told her there was a dog barking outside of our room. She said that's a service dog and that's what dogs do, they bark. I'm very understanding of peoples need for a service dog, but her attitude and rudeness was uncalled for and unacceptable as a front desk receptionist. Overall the people of Wisconsin have been kind, she didn't posses the same kindness. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights. Immediately when we walked in we were overwhelmed by a funny smell - kind of mildewy almost, but maybe it was just an "old" smell since the room looked very outdated. There weren't enough outlets in the room for 4 people. The bathroom was very small. Lastly, the air conditioner in the room kept turning on and off all day and night - loudly. Other than the air conditioner, things were pretty quiet at night. Breakfast was okay. We stayed during one of the weekends of the Bristol Renaissance Faire and I guess because of this, the price was surprisingly high. I wouldn't stay here again. read more

A good place to stay if traveling. Near the freeway, but not so close that all you can hear is the traffic. Rooms are spacious and clean. There are many places to eat, a good deal of them are within walking distance for those of you that want to stretch your legs some. For the last couple of years I 've stayed here while attending meetings locally. The desk staff is always different each year. Housekeeping is very thorough and attentive. The breakfast is pretty standard, although whomever decided to replace the waffle machine with the pancake printer needs to reevaluate the decision, please. The two are not equivalent. I've decided that the blonde at the front desk had a bad week in her personal life and it just rolled over during her work day. How else could I respond to the lack of smiling or warmth or hospitality each time I greeted her? Stayed here while I was in town for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah 4/25 through 4/26. The room was really nice and clean. Bed was super comfortable. The desk staff was very nice and explained all the amenities to us when we checked in. Other family members also stayed here and really liked it, too. Eleanor at the front desk helped me immeasurably. At check in, she answered all of my questions about the Kenosha area and recommending restaurants and stores. One the second day of my stay I injured myself in a sporting event that required me to use crutches. Eleanor devised a bag and rubber band contraption to allow me to shower, she ensured that I would have food delivered to my room from an outside source, and she took the initiative to call the car rental and the airline so that I would be supplied with wheelchairs and carts to get me from point-to-point throughout my trip back home. I really can't say how grateful I am for her kindness and efforts. Besides Eleanor, every single employee of the hotel strove to make my visit a very positive one. Along with the superb staff, the hotel itself is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything worked. The pool was good and hot tub hot. It was really nice to have a bar and the bartender was fun, friendly and attentive. I wouldn't risk the bar's food however. The breakfast was just ok, but that seems to be the norm for hotels in this price range. The coffee was above average. My stay at the Best Western Executive in Kenosha was truly an excellent experience. read more

The whole experience was terrible...from the broken and slow elevators, the room being over 90° upon our arrival and ending with no soap in the shower dispenser (which I discovered at 6:00 am while in the shower) and no bar soaps to wash your hands after using the bathroom. The reservation process was a nightmare and the staff started off being totally unapproachable and NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. This is an ok place to stay if you are just staying the night. The hot tub has a serious issue with an exposed light fixture dangling under water. on our last night there they ran out of towels in the whole hotel and was speaking of it loudly in the hall. Whatever, if they thought of it just use the washers on every floor and take it out of petty cash people this isn't brain surgery. I regularly stay in the area for business. Staff was pleasant and offered a free upgrade to my room. Bathroom lighting is dim, and when I plugged in my hair straightener the lights flickered the whole time. Bed is comfortable and the room was clean. Free breakfast is ok. The juice machine has a rubber aftertaste for both the orange juice and water. Potatoes were good, provided nice additions for your oatmeal. Haven't gone to the lounge yet. Great location and close to the freeway. I feel this is better than the Comfort Inn next door, but I would prefer the Country Inn down the road over this. I booked this hotel for my wedding guests. The wedding was at another location down the road. The bridal party and immediate family were staying at the hotel the night prior to the wedding as well. The manager did not give much of a discount on rooms and the room-block rate ended more than a month prior to the wedding, so most guests booked online to get a better discount... Because of that, when I asked how many people were in the block, they couldn't give me an answer. When I asked how many people were staying the night prior to the wedding (to see if they could comp my room) they couldn't give me an answer. And then said "we wouldn't comp it anyways", even though they said they would when I originally spoke to them The manager does not reply to emails. If she does, she'll answer one question at a time, and then you have to email her 3 more times to get an answer to the rest of your questions. Also, she's either out of the office all of the time, or she dodges phone calls. However, whenever I went there to discuss things, everything was fine and she was very friendly and helpful. So, if you have all of the time in the world to go back and forth to your hotel during the planning process, this is the hotel for you. To be clear I had simple questions - how many people in our room block, needed to reserve the groom's room, asking what food they have there so I can order the after-party food early. I ended up ordering the after-party food about 5 minutes before my rehearsal (because she never got back to me and didn't know what she was doing when I arrived). Side note - the food is not very good. My guests ended up having pizza delivered instead... Everything is very unorganized. The employees of the hotel apparently do not communicate to each other about anything, so, don't expect anyone to know anything, except for the person you spoke to. The end. read more

If you are looking for something right in the middle, this is the place. Close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The bar located next to the lobby offers a wide selection of great drinks, but it was smokey. Can't wait for July 1st. Staff is wonderful, restrooms were clean and stocked. I had a standard King room. Bathroom was a little dim, tub drained real slow, other than that, one other complaint other than the room. The bartender, Allison. Keep an eye on her. She is a thief. I wanted to purchase a 5 bottle bucket, but only had 4, 5 bucks. I told her I would be right back, went to my room, got a 20 from my suitcase and proceeded to plop it down on the bar. She brought my bucket and gave me 2 dollars in change. (It should have been $12) I instantly informed her of this, while she was still standing in front of me. She claimed I gave her a ten, and I said absolutely not, I haven't had a 10 all day. I insisted it was a $20 and she said I had o wait until close so she could reconcile the register. I waited until close, and she told me I had to leave, as they were closed. I told her she told me she would straighten this out at close. She then said for me to give her my room number and they would contact me. I said, "there is no way in hell that you will contact me because you pocketed that 10 bucks and it won't show up in the register She got pissed, asked me if I wanted her to call the cops, and to leave. I left. She is a thief. She cannot be there for tips because she has the personality of a snake and besides, no one goes in there. It is the only way she can make any money, taking unsuspecting patrons of their money. I informed the front desk clerk, or manager, Mary, and the problem was taken care of with apologies. I got my $10 back. I told her they would be better off with a bartender that smiles and acts like she wants to be there, and that she is a thief. I do NOT think it was an honest mistake.
