It's a great hotel with an amazing staff. Every part of The location was nicely kept and clean including the outside and parking lot. I was greeted with a warm welcome, a great smile and gift bag. My room was spacious and even though it seemed be filled with guests I had no issue with noise or getting a good night's rest. There was a conveniently-located ashtray outside the main entrance for smoking cigarettes. I don't smoke cigarettes, but I appreciate the thought. The breakfast started at 6AM and went until 10AM. I made sure to stay for the entire duration and eat my money's worth. I've never felt such a comfortable toilet seat. I'm new to town, but this Hampton Inn almost guarantees that I will return. My fiancee and I just visited this hotel 2 weeks ago, and was disappointed. The sofa chaise was dirty and stained , sheets looked wrinkled , lobby area by coffee area was dusty and trash under the coffee station. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Kenosha a few times when in the area and have always been extremely pleased with the staff and the hotel - even more so since they've recently completed a major overhaul/update to the facility... it seems like a brand new hotel. My 'sleeps' have always been terrific here. It's conveniently situated near major roadways with a plethora of dining options nearby - both popular chains and unique local favorites. I can't say enough good things about the staff; any reasonable request made was fulfilled quickly and with a smile. Roughly a half hour from Milwaukee Mitchell Airport and under 45 minutes from Chicago's O'Hare airport, this place is perfect to get comfortable in a homey atmosphere yet with easy access to either major city. read more

As I was driving back to Chicago, I decided to pull over and spend the night at this hotel. Thanks to Brittney, Guest Service Agent, I was able to locate this property. Again, booked through the Hilton's app and received a great rate on a Saturday night. Brittney had checked me in and reviewed the amenities of the hotel. She was very pleasant! After dropping my stuff in my room, I had decided to check out this property..... The lobby was very inviting to hang out at. The breakfast and dining area were good size. Plenty of seating. Some of the amenities included the spa (pool & whirlpool) area... which was decent size for this hotel. The fitness center is limited, however, offered both cardio machines and free weights. Off of the reception desk, there was a sundry area, which is very convenient for those of us that may not have wanted to go out for some snacks. For an overnighter, the room was just right. Plenty of working and entertainment areas. There is a small microwave and a refrigerator to store and heat up items. The chaise lounge was very comfortable - great touch for this room. The bedding was very satisfactory to my liking. Slept like a baby. Being a Hampton Inn & Suites property, the breakfast is included. The breakfast was okay. Maybe, I used to having scrambled eggs instead of quiche (I think - there wasn't a sign). They were not offering bacon or sausage but another type of meat which was actually good. There was a waffle maker which was great. Overall, the breakfast will not stop me from returning. The manager (I wish I could remember her name - sorry) had checked me out. The procedure was very painless. Then we started to talked about the industry. You could tell, she watched out for her staff members. Overall, a great stay and great hotel. Easy, excellent hotel. New, modern and comfortable furniture, including the bed with a variety of pillow choices. Great amenities including a gym with a good choice of equipment and a nice size pool. I was here mid-week for work and had no issues with noise although there were definitely kids around as I saw them coming and going. Breakfast was good and fresh. I actually enjoyed the scrambled eggs which can be hard to do when they're made in bulk but these were warm and soft, not rubbery at all. Nice, thick grated mixed cheese to put on top too. Waffles, French toast and all the other continental choices. Cold, cold juices were really tasty. read more

I have never received more horrible customer service from anyone, ever, than I did from the assistant general manager, Kayla. It was reprehensible. I will spare all the details but to sum it up she was beyond disrespectful, extremely belligerent, called me a liar, then hung up. It was quite appalling. I will be pursuing every avenue at my disposal to make sure nobody else is treated this poorly again by this hotel's management. It is hard to understand how she is able to not only land a customer service position at a Hilton, but also become a member of management. I can only hope I caught her on the worst of her bad days. This has been an extremely disappointing stay. 1) When we arrived, we were given keys to a room one floor below the one we chose in the app. There was no explanation for why this occurred when we checked in. The room above us was occupied, as we quickly learned, because there was loud stomping above us. 2) Breakfast was poorly run. Items were not replenished quickly, the juice machine was not working, and several containers were not filled at all. At 730, when we went down, everything had been picked over and there was no sign that more was coming. 3) We've been out of our room for most of the day and returned just now. Housekeeping has not been by, despite the fact that they were on our floor when we left in the morning. 4) The bathroom did not feel clean at all. The shower has crud in the corners. 5) One of the beds squeaks terribly every time you move on it. We mentioned these concerns to the front desk and were told that they were "making a note of it." When we checked out, no one bothered to ask about our experience at all. In summary, even if Hampton Inn is your preferred hotel, don't stay at this one. read more

This place was a great get away that isn't too far from Chicago. It is a great over night place to stay. The front desk staff is very knowledgable about the surrounding area and it's because they're local girls who look like they just love to be part of the community. The entire staff was extremely friendly and fun. Each room, the hallways, and other areas of the hotel have their own local flare which I really loved! You can see pictures of local attractions framed and hung up. Very professionally done and fits with the modern decor in the hotel. Very clean, very comfortable, lounge area is huge, and the pool/spa is a very family friendly environment. We will be staying here again sometime soon in the future. The only reason I took one star away was because the shower in the room bathroom had a few cracks coming down the wall. Other than that we were really truly happy with the property. read more

this was the worst stay I have ever have! first I'm am so disappointed about the smell in the elevator it smelt like a loud oder of marijuana . also we had seen puke\weird gunk on the side of the hot tub, and in the pool I seen 3 big bugs. then I had a problem with the microwave it would not spin, not cook, nothing. This hotel was pretty cool. We live in Chicago and decided to go to the Light Fest in Twin Peaks, Wisconsin, which was about 30 minutes away from the hotel. We came a day early to prepare for the day. When we walked in the staff was very nice and right away we noticed a very clean hotel. We ordered a King Size room for two nights and it was very spacious. It has a microwave, refrigerator, walk-in shower, desk, couch and a wet bar (does not include alchohol). Other amenities includes an indoor pool, jacuzzi and business center. Other amenities are included too. They also offer a complimentary breakfast that doesn't only include your usual muffins, coffee, and bagels. They also serve hot food such as eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and french toast sticks ect. Another great thing about the hotel is that they have different food options each day. A few drawbacks were that the bed was a bit average. It wasnt super comfy but it was not bad. Another drawback, (no fault of the hotel) is the limited food and entertainment options. Alot of the restaurants close around 9pm. So there isnt much to do at night. The last minor drawback was that their tv didnt give you the option to order any movies. But overall it was a great hotel and we enjoyed ourselves. read more

Not sure what this hotel doesn't get good ratings, but it is the best hotel I have stayed at in Kenosha. Normally, we stay at Holiday inn express in Kenosha. However, after an issue with their breakfast (no oatmeal, limited selection of breakfast items) I decided to try Hampton. This hotel looks like it might be recently built, is VERY clean, and their breakfast selection is amazing. Ro sizes are great and there is a microwave, Fridge. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit Kenosha. Especially since I have sworn off IHG hotels since the last one I stayed at in Indianapolis had roaches and management did not even care. Hampton Inn & Suites seems to care more about its customers. Thanks for a great stay! Oh, and the checkin is awesome! Highly recommend selecting your room ahead of time. Literally, 30 seconds after entering the hotel, I had my keys for the room in my hands! Love love love! read more

I only stay at Hampton Inns when traveling. It is my preferred choice. In May 2016 I got married in Kenosha and booked a block of rooms at this hotel that was built brand new and opened in the fall of 2015. Jessica helped me book my block rooms and was super customer focused and helpful. All my out of town guests had great things to say about this hotel. The front desk employees were nice and friendly. The complimentary breakfast offers a wide variety of items. The hotel is very clean and has a very modern feel to it. I hIghly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. read more

We feel in love with Hampton Inn & Suites around 13 years ago. We dont travel much, but they are our first choice of places to stay when it is possible. My wife spent many hours on the internet locating the right room, a queen suite, in many different locations so we could spend time, about 24 hours, with our niece who we had just picked up from camp and was taking to the airport the next day. When we arrived at The Hampton Inn we were told that our room had been given to another guest who had decided to extend their stay. Apparently they were able to do this online and bump our reservation. When I got to the front desk the person at reception was unapologetic and seemed to think that we should be grateful for the alternative room set up she had arranged for us. It was not, another clerk came out from the office and helped to resolve the issue. i feel totally betrayed that our room was snatched away from us and I am left wondering how I will be able to trust the Hilton Hotel chain to honor my reservations in the future? My hope is that someone at Hilton reads this review and can make the appropriate changes so that this does not happen to anyone else in the future. The hotel was fine, lovely breakfast as it always is, the rooms were comfortable. There is one huge problem with the facility. the sound proofing between floors is nonexistent. when the person above us got up in the morning it sounded like they were stomping around, I am sure they weren't. this is also very new construction and there are no trees to provided shade in the parking lot at all. read more

The hotel and staff were great especially our shuttle driver and the breakfast was awesome, rooms were great but I have to give a low rating for 2 important reasons that anyone who stays there should know., there is NO SECURITY latch and the maid service staff just walk right in at 9 am without as much as a knock! We were there for a wedding and didn't fall asleep to the wee hours of the morning, I was so damn mad at the lack of respect and no security latch! Never AGAIN. read more
