I would love to give them more than 2 stars but we needed to get new keys every day which was annoying. They also tried to check us into a room that wasn't even clean when we arrived at 5pm which was way past the cleaning time. Our current room has a shower curtain that doesn't work and the cold water wouldn't work until I personally fixed it. The best part is that the fridge, TV and bed work and are nice. Although the sheets are not especially clean. Also no soap and when we asked about it they said they would fix it but never happened.

BED BUG INFESTATION. WARNING DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!! JUNE 2019 I found dead bed bugs on my pillow and sheets in the morning and two days later my back, neck, shoulders, arms were covered in welts in three bite clusters. Threw everything I had in that room in the trash to hopefully mitigate bringing them home. I lost very close to a thousand dollars in clothes, luggage, and other misc items I had to throw out due to this property's BED BUG problem. I will update on managements response when they get the bill. I see a Yelp review here from a year ago also with a bed bug complaint. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. UPDATE: Management refuses to call me back to discuss this issue. I guess I'll be off to small claims court with the ownership.

Dirty Sanitary Napkin Found Stuck to the mattress. Mathis ave Best Western on April 7, 2019

Do not expect any frills with this hotel. Yes, the rooms are well equipped with the usual stuff you would expect as value minded guest. (Microwave, fridge, ac, tv) Low budget electronics kind you. But this isn't the Ritz-Carlton. On initial arrival, the front desk staff was very helpful checking me in early and polite. However, the real problem came when I was looking for a lost sock in my room and moved the mattress to find a used sanitary napkin stuck to the mattress box spring. It wasn't there just for a day or two, it was disgusting. No offense ladies, but I tell you it was a biohazard. I didn't even want to continue to look for my sock. I went to the front desk and showed the picture and handed the keys back. I told the front desk "I can't today. That was too much and if I were to look for more I would find more ." The employee said not a word and blinked their eyes. Who does that? Says nothing! The worst part is having to deal with Priceline and their rude customer service. Priceline called the hotel while I was hold and then came back on the line to tell me to call tomorrow because the manager wasn't there. I don't care about no manager, give me my money back and call it a day. Go clean the room and book the room to someone else. I am pretty sure they did this. I do not recommend this hotel at all. And if you book through Priceline and use their express deals or name your own price, I hope you have better luck than this place. I will update with the final resolution.

**Cheaper price calling the Hotel Directly than getting it off any app or online** Just thought I'd throw out that tip as I've noticed that every hotel I call can save you about 10-20 dollars per night than what the apps and online websites I've tried using before. Anyhow, I would say I had a decent stay here. Nothing too exciting, exceptional or stand-out experience. It was relatively clean. Needs an update. But everything was in working order. I feel like the pictures make it look newer and better than it is but once you come here, you know there is a need for an update. The one thing I would say that was a bummer was the morning breakfast. It has very basic things but I feel like 1) the powdered eggs were scary, and 2) have some more hot items, sausage, pancakes, real eggs would have been appreciated. Either way, I had to be within the area for business purposes and this was the closet hotel to where I needed to be. I will book here again just out of necessity. The staff was nice and pleasant though. They have that going for them. It just needs an update.

I was only here one night. However, the window was not sealed and you could hear and feel the freezing air blowing in above the heater. It was 12F last night too. The room was clean but it is an older property. Bathroom is really small and their pillows leave a lot to be desired. But for one night and the price - it was tolerable but would not recommend this place for an extended stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here, and I also loved their complimentary breakfast. I usually never eat hotel breakfast, but this one was actually delicious. Thank you again to the staff. While I considered rounding up for the breakfast offerings, I'm rounding down because I didn't have the restful stay that I was hoping for. Pros: - clean hotel with complimentary continental breakfast - decent breakfast spread - scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and a protein were served each day. There was pork sausage on one day and bacon on another. There's also a DIY waffle maker, cereal station with a few dispensers, and oatmeal bar with a mix of toppings to add in. On Sunday, there was also French toast sticks (these were dry but you can drown them in syrup). On Monday, instead of French toast sticks, they had hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit. Both days also had a basket of apples and bananas (the bananas looked much more appealing than the apples). They had a good condiment section (jellies, butter, peanut butter, cream cheese, Nutella, etc.). I also liked that they had salsa and shredded cheese for the eggs. There was also a fridge of milk and yogurt, a juice machine, and coffee and tea station, which included flavored syrups. They do take the coffee away after breakfast, but there is a coffee maker in the room. - room had a microwave and mini fridge, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. No safe. - fitness center and pool are included amenities. There was also a computer in the lobby for their "business center" - luggage carts were easily available - plenty of parking available - good location near several shops and other shopping areas Cons: - check-in is at 3pm. We came around 4:30 pm and the room (executive suite) was still not ready. They estimated a 45-60 minute wait. We debated unloading the car, sitting in the lobby and waiting, but decided to leave and check out the shops nearby. The hotel didn't offer anything for the inconvenience, only their "apologies." - Super uncomfortable beds! I did not get restful sleep at this hotel. I felt like I was sleeping on a cot (it's not ~ I checked... but you could have fooled me...) - minimal toiletries available. Aside from the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner pumps in the shower, the only toiletries on the counter were one make-up remover wipe and a cleansing bar. No lotion, supplemental facial soap, mouthwash, etc. - water from the water station in the fitness center tasted stale - front desk staff was not super present. Whenever I was in the lobby, the front desk space was often vacant. We didn't have any issues to address, but staff did not seem very accessible The property is nice overall and the facilities are clean. Call it a princess and the pea scenario, but these beds are not for me.

Choice Hotels and Holiday Inns (where I've been a frequent stay member for 20+ years) have been going downhill for me for several years, and my Wyndham (Days Inn, Howard Johnson's, Ramada Inn, Super 8, TraveLodge) frequent stay club membership is basically useless since the points are erased after a few months of inactivity. As a fairly regular traveler for business and pleasure, I am just looking for a clean, affordable place to hang my hat for a night or two. Marriotts, Hiltons/Hampton Inns, Hyatts are not needed for my basic needs. This BW location off Sudley Road and I-66 in Manassas is in a motel/hotel hub. At least 5 other motels/hotels at this exit. This Best Western was probably built in the 1970s based on its design (the "courtyard" design that was popular in the '70s and early '80s), and the bathroom was woefully dated (and the tub was kind of gross). But I suspect the bathrooms will be renovated soon as the rest of the rooms are being renovated. The rooms are quiet, because of the outdoor courtyard design, with exterior entrances. There is a cute little pool in the courtyard too. The staff was efficient and friendly. The bed super comfortable. Despite the small bathroom area with a small sink, the room itself (at least the king-size room I had) has a larger sink in the main room. The biggest flat screen TV I've seen in a budget hotel. If you are visiting Manassas for battlefield tours, this is a perfect place for a family stay. The rooms are clean and it won't break the bank.

Nothing about this place made me feel as though they appreciated my business. Room refresh is supposed to occur every other day, but that is DEFINITELY NOT happening at this property. If you call down to the desk, they have lots of excuses as to why this is happening, but really, it's just excuses. Lots of people must of experience the same, because just like me, trash is sitting in the hallway to picked up; when housekeeping did come by, after I called to complain, another guest came and got all the towels for her room, so housekeeping had to come back with towels for mine. One time I went to ask for a garbage bag, yes, a single garbage bag from housekeeping, I was told to go to the desk, seriously? The desk for one bag. Come on, I'm tired, I've been working all day, I expected my room to have been refreshed and now I can't even get a garbage bag... sheesh!!! Such awful customer service. Again, full of excuses, and no action. Need a clean towel because your room didn't get refreshed when it was supposed too? Go to the desk, except apparently, sometimes, when your room is finally being cleaned and you come get towels off the cart. I would never stay at this property again or recommend to anyone I know. If you don't have the staff to keep up with every other day refreshes, then you shouldn't offer every other day refreshers. Instead of making excuses to guests about how hectic the day has been, how about understanding that they too have been working and probably had a hectic day and that refresh didn't happen and isn't going to happen, so just own it! Stock the rooms with more trash bags and dish soap, because one of each, runs out fast, and yep, you got it, when you're not refreshing every other day, well, I think you get the point.
