This was my first stay at Best Western Manassas. The check-in process was fine. The clerk was friendly and interactive. I did find the hallway of the Best Western Manassas in need of some air freshener due to the smell. You could hear the rain outside of the window and through the walls. That was a bit unusual. The room's refrigerator produced a non stop clicking annoying sound. I unplugged the refrigerator and the sound stopped. The front desk phoned as a courtesy inquiring about a late check out. I was in my room getting ready for the day and just lounging around watching World Cup pre-coverage. I then get a phone call from the front desk asking if I was checking out today (the 15th). I said that my reservation had check out the 16th (it does). She said her system shows otherwise so I have to leave. I told her that I would come to the front desk as I have the app showing the 16th and email confirmation. She didn't care and after several times telling me I had to leave she finally said to come to the front desk. When I got there she had a print out form their system (best western) that says the 15. COMPLETELY CALMLY I explained that there is clearly an issue as my reservation - very clearly states (and she never denied even to her own manager) that my check out is the 16th. I had a Rental Car as well and that was also the 16th with multiple forms of confirmation. I am a IT networking professional out on a business trip - not a scammer. I asked her to contact Expedia - Best Westerns business partner who sent the reservation - and she refused and told her it was my responsibility. She patently refused and by this point was instantly rude and angry. I asked her to call her manager and she refused stating she would absolutely NOT call him, he was sick and didn't care. She told me she would, instead, call the cops (all of this was on at the front desk ON CAMERA so I am speaking with empirical accuracy and everything I am saying can be confirmed). She told me this multiple times and told me she didn't care that my multiple points of confirmation state the 16th; her system said the 15th and that is what she was going to go by and if i didn't leave she would call the cops. I am a legitimate business professional so I stood my ground and told her to contact the manager. Somehow she was instantly able to get the manager on the phone. He told her just to give me the room. This upset her - because she 'lost' her made up battle with a random stranger who never did anything wrong to her ever - so she said F you (the actual word not the letter) to me in front of a couple with a young child (probably 2 years old). I then went to my room and packed up my stuff and left as this is now a SERIOUS legal issue for me. I then drive to a parking lot and contact the manager - I took one of his cards from the front desk - and I tried to call him. He would not pick up (the front desk got him immediately and he is aware of the escalating situation). I then send him a series of texts requesting he reach out, explaining the situation, and stating that this was a significant legal issue that needs to be addressed through proper legal channels. No response. I get in touch with expedia who confirm my check out date was the 16th and who sent me ANOTHER email absolutely confirming the 16th hotel check out at that VERY hotel (he even asked me to provide the room number they gave me) and car return. He puts me on hold to reach out to the very same Best Western to determine what happened. After 5 minutes he tells me that she was unbelievably rude to him, he couldn't believe it, she refused to provide him any information and refused to escalate him to any management. He told me that he was going to personally send in an email to Best Western - from Expedia - because of the way she TREATED HIM; the representative. This is the experience I just had - today - 6/15/26 from this horrendous 'business'. read more

They had me in the wrong room in the system which resulted in another guest trying to enter my room in the middle of the night - luckily I had the door chained. When I complained about it, the manager acted as if it was my fault. And then I had to get my key reactivated because again, they gave my room to another guest! I filed a formal complaint to their company and never heard back! read more

I would love to give them more than 2 stars but we needed to get new keys every day which was annoying. They also tried to check us into a room that wasn't even clean when we arrived at 5pm which was way past the cleaning time. Our current room has a shower curtain that doesn't work and the cold water wouldn't work until I personally fixed it. The best part is that the fridge, TV and bed work and are nice. Although the sheets are not especially clean. Also no soap and when we asked about it they said they would fix it but never happened. read more

My phone charger had broke and I needed to get a charge on my phone to get an Uber to leave. When I asked the man if they had a charger in the office he could plug my phone into he said they don't have one and was no help. I decided to get another room in order to use the phone in it. When I was getting another room I saw he did in fact have a charger and asked him to use it to get a charge on my phone. He was very hesitant but finally plugged my phone in. After it charged for a few minutes I was able to get an uber to leave. Doesn't change the fact that I had to pay for an entire night to use the phone in the room after writing down some numbers on my phone before it die and again. It's almost unbelievable how unhelpful and rude this man was. I don't recommend anyone stays here because the staff is disgustingly rude and unhelpful. read more

BED BUG INFESTATION. WARNING DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!! JUNE 2019 I found dead bed bugs on my pillow and sheets in the morning and two days later my back, neck, shoulders, arms were covered in welts in three bite clusters. Threw everything I had in that room in the trash to hopefully mitigate bringing them home. I lost very close to a thousand dollars in clothes, luggage, and other misc items I had to throw out due to this property's BED BUG problem. I will update on managements response when they get the bill. I see a Yelp review here from a year ago also with a bed bug complaint. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. UPDATE: Management refuses to call me back to discuss this issue. I guess I'll be off to small claims court with the ownership. read more

Do not expect any frills with this hotel. Yes, the rooms are well equipped with the usual stuff you would expect as value minded guest. (Microwave, fridge, ac, tv) Low budget electronics kind you. But this isn't the Ritz-Carlton. On initial arrival, the front desk staff was very helpful checking me in early and polite. However, the real problem came when I was looking for a lost sock in my room and moved the mattress to find a used sanitary napkin stuck to the mattress box spring. It wasn't there just for a day or two, it was disgusting. No offense ladies, but I tell you it was a biohazard. I didn't even want to continue to look for my sock. I went to the front desk and showed the picture and handed the keys back. I told the front desk "I can't today. That was too much and if I were to look for more I would find more ." The employee said not a word and blinked their eyes. Who does that? Says nothing! The worst part is having to deal with Priceline and their rude customer service. Priceline called the hotel while I was hold and then came back on the line to tell me to call tomorrow because the manager wasn't there. I don't care about no manager, give me my money back and call it a day. Go clean the room and book the room to someone else. I am pretty sure they did this. I do not recommend this hotel at all. And if you book through Priceline and use their express deals or name your own price, I hope you have better luck than this place. I will update with the final resolution. read more

**Cheaper price calling the Hotel Directly than getting it off any app or online** Just thought I'd throw out that tip as I've noticed that every hotel I call can save you about 10-20 dollars per night than what the apps and online websites I've tried using before. Anyhow, I would say I had a decent stay here. Nothing too exciting, exceptional or stand-out experience. It was relatively clean. Needs an update. But everything was in working order. I feel like the pictures make it look newer and better than it is but once you come here, you know there is a need for an update. The one thing I would say that was a bummer was the morning breakfast. It has very basic things but I feel like 1) the powdered eggs were scary, and 2) have some more hot items, sausage, pancakes, real eggs would have been appreciated. Either way, I had to be within the area for business purposes and this was the closet hotel to where I needed to be. I will book here again just out of necessity. The staff was nice and pleasant though. They have that going for them. It just needs an update. read more

I like it but on the same time I don't really like it I think there's bedbugs on the beds and I stayed there for only one night when I got out of the hotel. I had bug bites all over me but service is great and the entrance is safe because you need a card to get in to the rooms. read more

I was only here one night. However, the window was not sealed and you could hear and feel the freezing air blowing in above the heater. It was 12F last night too. The room was clean but it is an older property. Bathroom is really small and their pillows leave a lot to be desired. But for one night and the price - it was tolerable but would not recommend this place for an extended stay. read more

Unfortunately this is about the only place to stay in Manassas Park. The price is deffinatly right, but the rooms are pretty old. You get what you pay for here. Breakfast is limited, and its just kinda got a gloomy feel to it. When I find another place to stay I'll be sure and let you know how it stacks up against the Best Western. I tried to work out in the gym, but because there are no windows you get the feeling that you're gonna get trapped in there and no one will ever find you. The upside to this hotel is that Guapo's and Szechuan Chinese (takeout) are both right around the corner. Either place you will get more than your money's worth for dinner. (Try a 1/2 chicken & side salad from Guapo's). There's a five guys down the street and a subway if you need something light. read more

This was a nice basic room for the price. This budget 2 star room was clean, quiet & comfortable. Staff who checked us in were friendly and made some good recommendations for dinner nearby ( Tony's pizza & Italian ). We didn't mind that our room was on the 2nd floor with a short walk up the stairs. I didn't see an elevator. The rooms were large. The bathrooms were small but adequate. The towels were plain but soft. Breakfast was okay. What we didn't like so much was our fridge was sonloud we had to unplug it. One of the queen beds was sunken in middle and we both kept rolling in. Tried to use the Computer in lobby to print a document. But it was ridiculously slow and worthless. Couldn't even get it to load a page from the Internet. Needs an upgrade bad. And lastly but most memorably the Traffic getting out of Manassas and onto Hwy 66 to DC in the morning was horrible. Overall our experience with the hotel was good. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! My friend and I stayed here for the Morgan Wallen concert. We stayed Friday-Sunday we left at 9Am Sunday morning! That's obviously well before check out time at 11Am! I went down to give back the hotel keys and he said "okay I got it" I then asked well can I have a receipt that we have checked out. He then tells me they didn't even know we were in that room, like hello I have two keys and we checked in! Thank god I got that receipt (not really it didn't help) The guy gives me a receipt. Later that week my friend tells me they charged her on MONDAY which was like 100+ extra stating we were still there. Impossible because we both worked and I have the receipt. She called them over and over through out TWO-THREE weeks and Every time they said oh the manager will call you back, finally I called them and was not very friendly because I have had about enough of the bullshit. The guy then tells us they have to check the camera and then they have to get the manager to call us back FOR THE 100483728+ times. K. Cool. So that was In JUNE !! JUNE!!! Still to this day no one has called us back and we have not received a refund. DO NOT STAY here unless you want them to STEAL money from you. NEGATIVE STARS FOR THIS PLACE!! I came here with some buddies last weekend before looking it up on yelp. I had to wait a day with some buddies for a friend that was a day away and we decided to wait for him here. We rented a room with 2 queen sized beds and were four so yes... there was some sharing.. Not the point though. The room was clean enough, the bathroom was a bit small for my tastes and the service was nice and friendly. You don't need to spend a night to see that this place has seen its fare share of years. Old noisy beds, a broken TV and furniture that looks like my grandma could have bought them. The whole place just shows its age, and it isn't a reflection of it being bad, it just needs a serious makeover because as I said, the service was great, I felt that were treated well and there was even a breakfast service for the morning which we all appreciated. It was a good night because I was with friends, but I wouldn't come here again unless I absolutely had no other choice. P.S: They also have free wifi, but it did not work too well for me for some reason. read more

So gross. Our room was dank/damp feeling even with the AC going.but the air coming out of vent smelled like urine! So dirty. It was a typical best Western room. Cracks in bath tiles, ceiling needed some TLC, stained carpet and the bed was so hard it hurt my back. I wasn't pleased with the breakfast but not upset either. I stayed here for 4 nights. My room was clean with plenty of towels. Room service came everyday as they were suppose to. It's a pretty quiet hotel, I only saw one other guest the entire time I was there. They have a very small crowded gym but it does have a shower and bathroom in it. They do have room service but I didn't use it. The only issue I had was that they let like "homeless" people hang out and smoke pot. I ran into a few of them while I had my kids and it's not a good site. I think they need more cameras and enforce the trespassing sign they have up. read more

Best eastern Best Western I've stayed at. Priceline was slow as Manassas in accepting my bids for a DC-area hotel, and I finally got this far-away property after trying many closer suburbs. The poor Yelp reviews worried me, but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Granite countertop in the bathroom; awesome shower water pressure; clean, comfy beds and pillows; fridge and microwave; flatscreen TV; laundry room. Bathroom had tons of face and bath towels, 4 bars of soap, 2 shampoos, 2 conditioners. Friendly front desk clerk pointed me toward nearby places to eat. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place at all. This place was hilariously bad. The price wasn't worth the bad service. I agree with the previous owner, this place is fairly gloomy. To begin with, the room we got had a broken TV and a broken phone. So we got switched. The woman at the front desk did not apologize nor awknowledge this issue. Then, the shower/bath combo didn't drain. So the ucky gross stuff from previous guests came up into the bath! GROSS!!!! The sink didn't hold water. OH! The lock didn't work! The deadbolt worked but was hard to twist, however the chain lock didn't even extend to the hole it is supposed to go into. No elevator in sight. My husband is allergic to dust (his claim) and got super sick from the stuff coming from the AC/Heat. read more

I recently had family in the area for a funeral and my house was not able to accommodate everyone. We booked rooms at the Best Western Manassas Hotel on Mathis Ave and were very pleased. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They noticed my aunt had difficulty walking and made sure her room was on the lower level so she did not have to use the stairs. My family had nothing but great things to say about this hotel. I will use them again, just hopefully not for a funeral! read more
