Will never recommend this hotel. Stayed here in February 2025 for 3 nights. Booked the room a month in advance. I knew I would be arriving late at night. 2 hours before arriving, I double checked my reservation and everything was fine. Upon arriving at the hotel at midnight, after driving for 14 hours, the guy at the front desk said he couldn't find the reservation. I opened the app on my phone to find that the reservation had been changed at some point in the previous 2 hours. At first they shifted the reservation forward by 1 day - I was checking in on a Thursday, and someone had shifted it to a Wednesday check-in, before canceling the reservation completely. I asked the desk staff why the reservation was cancelled. "It was cancelled." "How was the reservation modified and then cancelled? Because I never received any confirmation that changes were made." "I'll have to look into it." Followed by, "I'll have to put you in a more expensive room, that's all we have available." They never attempted to make it right, and charged the higher rate. 3 days later, when I checked out, they still couldn't tell me how the reservation was cancelled. I found out later on my own that someone who found out about my trip, called pretending to be me, and cancelled it out of spite. read more

This hotel has BED BUGS and knowingly continued to rent rooms then refused to issue a refund when we left early because my dogs, kids and I were getting bit up. We booked 2 nights after evacuating from Hurricane Milton and then having our RV break down. The first night I was itching all over and shared my suspicions with my husband. Hours later we found the door across from our room being "treated" for bed bugs and when I checked our bed again after finding bites all over my 5 year old, sure enough there was a huge bed bug crawling under the mattress. We spent $50 to get space saver bags to bag everything and after showering ourselves and bathing our dogs we left. The front desk staff was kind and apologetic before assuring we could contact the manager for the refund. After literally months of contacting them and reaching out to the manager they not only refused to contact us back but actually OVERCHARGED us nearly $400 for a bed bug ridden room. The sad thing was they obviously knew they were infested and we even met a sweet truck driver who mentioned he can't sleep cause he's itching so he decided to do laundry.......how are you going to book another 14 cars of guest knowing you're infesting their luggage, belongings, and letting their kids get eaten by bugs. The only thing that made having to pack and run from a hurricane after breaking down worse was then getting a surprise bed bug hotel to charge me $400 to eat my kids and I. Literally RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. I should have known to leave after walking into a spider hanging from the ceilings over the bed, tons of bugs crawling in the sink, and a needle in the carpet all from when we walked in, but we were exhausted and desperate to rest. read more

So clean room, comfortable bed, nice staff, 30$ for a pet deposit and 100 for a deposit, the front desk lady was really nice.. 188 (159 plus pet deposit 30) for the night and it was ok. I didn't really sleep. I only stopped because Fred was in the way of where I was going and couldn't keep going. only 2 reason for 3 stars is I'm slightly annoyed. This is the first time I havnt gotten my deposit back. So if your hair is an exotic color and happens bleeds a little bit when you sleep you will be charged the deposit plus extra for staining the Linens ( pillow case, an a little bit on the comforter, and a hand towel) supposedly they tried with hot water and bleach and it didn't work to take out the pink. 2 reason the morning breakfast served was gross and I just got egg and sausage and some milk.. Its funny because the hotel I before here had no problems getting it out and released the deposit back read more

I was traveling with dogs, so I assume I was placed in a dog-friendly room, it smelled so strongly of urine I could not even sleep. We arrived late (10:30pm) after 11 hours in the car and by the time I got my things, my child, and my dogs into the room I was not going to ask to switch rooms because the state of this room told me I would go through all the effort of moving everything and everyone to find another room in the same condition. I did call the front desk to let them know how awful the room smelled, was told they would "let them know". There were many human hairs on the bed that were not my own, stains on the sheets, and when I smelled the bed to check if the urine smell was coming from the mattress I discovered it smelled like old dirty sheets. Pulling back the sheets to check for bedbugs showed me the mattress was also old and discolored looking, as though it hasn't been properly protected. There is a large patch of concerning black discoloration on the ceiling which I'm not sure is mold, smoke, or something else. The smell of urine in the room was only slightly stronger than the smell of marijuana in the hallways. I did not feel that's was a clear area to walk my dogs that also seemed safe. For the price of this room I expected much, much better, I have paid less for hotels at Disney world than I paid for this room. I would have left if I didn't have a child who needed to sleep with me. read more

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my cat. He was in his carrier and has a cat bed. I paid a $30 pet fee so he could stay there. I was charged an additional $100 fee because there was hair on the bed and supposedly stains. His food, litterbox, carrier, bed were no on the bed. The refrigerator in the room was very unstable, carpet was not the cleanest either. The housekeeper showed up early and said that I was checked out. Obviously I was not. When I went to the office it took the clerk forever to pull up my folio because I had been checked out. The people were nice but..... read more

Finally a hotel that can do its job ! I have stayed at many hotels and this by far is one of the better ones .. the hotel was clean and staff was friendly . The front desk agents diamond and Judy did a excellent job at checking us in ..and we got exactly what we asked for no walking in to a another persons room . The room is nice and clean . Nothing moldy or broken . The only awkward thing is the layout of the room . If you are at the 2nd sink outsider the bathroom or the bar area you can't easily open or close the bathroom door . You will hit whomever is outside the bathroom with the door . We won't be able to sample breakfast because we are eating with family for breakfast tomorrow and Saturday but overall we are pleased . Rooms were clean, front desk was rude! Our ac went out on us for hours at a time 3 times on our three day stay and a dog across the hallway barked non stop night and day. When I complained at check out about the dog and AC I was told "what do you want me to do about it" I'm livid. Being in management myself I'm appalled. It took 45 minutes to check in with only one person in front of us. We paid $40.00 extra for our 2 dogs. I played a towel on bed so no hair would get on top cover. There was very little hair on cover which they would wash and I was charged another $107.00 dollars extra. I didn't leave any trash in the room. I took out my trash that was in the trash can. I'm coming back to milton but I won't stay at best western. I feel I was not treated fairly. Be aware of extra charges. read more

Don't stay here if you have pets. We declared over phone and when we checked in that we had a dog. We didn't know there was a pet waiver because the lady never gave us one to review. The lady even saw me walk Iin with him but never said anything. We did get charged for a pet deposit but to our surprise we were also charged because there was pet hair on their comforter so they had to throw it away instead of washing it. Guess they don't wash their blankets but throw away/replace instead (?). What if we didn't have a pet on the bed? Would they have left them on there and remade the bed? read more

First I would like to say that our disappointment was not a customer service issue, but had to do with our room and a lack of standard. Opening the door to our room, we were hit by a powerful odor, a foul repulsive stench. After a call to the front desk, we were shown a new room down the hall. This one also had a nasty fragrance. However, given the very late hour from a 10 hour drive plus the nonrefundablility, we were frankly too tired to change course. We met others in the hallway and who were just as shocked by their room odors. I soon identified the odor as mold, evidenced by stained ceiling & wall paint. I am sure the carpeting was also an issue. It actually made my respiratory system struggle, like being in a very smoky bar, and that was how I spent the night, smelling disgusting stuff and breathing it in to the point of irritation. We left without even taking a shower and touching as little as possible. So uncomfortable with the low standard for cleanliness, evidenced by bedspread & pillowcase stains, the rank smelling interior-- sleeping in our clothes and leaving quickly in the morning felt best. I recommend this hotel to no one. And I am disgusted by the level of greed that allows for such a public health travesty to be making money off the unsuspecting visitor. I I will add that my symptoms were gone the following day within a few hours as due solely to this establishment, shameful. read more

The hotel was very clean, beds were super comfy, the continental breakfast was really good, and our over all experience was wonderful! We have four kids and they were very accommodating and placed us in a 2nd floor room away from everyone else so we could get some good sleep. (Checked in after midnight due to travel). Definitely an over all good experience. read more

Bed comfy clean but couldn't sleep due to noisy ac and mildew smells. Turned ac up to possibly rid of musty odor. Made worse turned out ac leaked water into room! Hotel was practically empty all these rooms and they gave us this one!!!!!!!! Maybe rooms weren't even clean checked from non use ? That's even worse Understand COVID restrictions but an apple to go? Sucked big time for$167 felt like I stayed at a cheap roadside for $50 read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, rooms are well looked after and the pool was always clean. Breakfast was decent for what it was, they are awesome with their pet policy. Manager was a bit abrasive but that shouldn't keep you from staying in the hotel. They do honor per diem and tax free (with proper paper work) for Military members on orders. Our welcome was not very warm and friendly. We arrived about 8:30pm on July 3 and the clerk greeted us with "may I help you" instead of something like "welcome to Best Western". We had been bike riding on the Blackwater Heritage Trail so we were hot, tired and dirty and decided to stay the night. We mentioned we have a BWRewards card but not with us and she didn't offer to help with a solution. Angela check me in at this hotel on the 29th of January 2018. She did not in any way offer me any kind of a discount even though few rooms were booked. The hotel is definitely pet friendly I mention to Angela that the lobby smells like canine and so does the elevator. Going down to breakfast the next morning I was there at 5:10 no other patrons were there I wanted to eat early and get on the road. Breakfast didn't officially start until 5:30 although all of the food was out. Mianda told me that I would have to wait until 5:30 for breakfast. Just following rules I suppose... The bananas were black not fresh at all. My main problem with this hotel is that the air conditioner rattled all night even wearing earplugs did not solve the problem. Also BEWARE, the doors that lead in are left unlocked all night and of all of the lights in the parking lot only ONE was lit. Evidently there is very poor management there, beware, smells like dogs, equipment not up to par. Very UNSAFE when the doors are left unlocked all night long and ONLY one light in the parking lot! I have stayed in many Best Westerns over the years but will now boycott them. read more

Plan on fighting the flies for your free great breakfast. I kid you not there were so many flies that after paying for the FREE breakfast we elected the three mornings of our visit, for a funeral, to eat elsewhere. Our complaints went unheeded except for the desk clerk giving the tall thin worker a fly swatter to pretend to look busy. After about three swats the swatter went away and he just circled the room, sort of like the flies. We tried every morning starting with coffee but none of us could have fought off the attacking flies once the food was exposed to the air. Also, the clerk on the night of our check in messed up the reservation instructions and instead of having us spending 3 nights in two rooms had one of the rooms for just 1 night. So the next day we were contacted because we left our luggage in the room. DUH! We ask that same Clerk could she make some fresh decaf coffee as we had been traveling most of the day. She did make it but only after making the two other pots of regular and another type, while we waited for the Decaf which sat waiting for her to finish it up. She obviously made us wait when she could have just said, no more fresh coffee tonight. Besides buying our own breakfast every morning...we couldn't get a quick cup of coffee.
