**Attention First Responders** This hotel is actively discriminating and price gouging wildland firefighters who have traveled from all over the country to fight the catastrophic wildfires impacting the communities across Beaverhead County, Montana. The manager of the hotel is extremely rude and openly displays his bias against federal government employees. The manager knowingly and willingly increased hotel room rates after reservations were confirmed. Despite making reservations within the 150% allowance for lodging costs ($144/night), rates were increased on average of $30 per night and when questioned about it the manager played ignorant despite his initials being on the override code shown with the billing statement. Do not stay at this property, drive the extra hour north to Butte where you are welcomed and supported while risking your life for the local communities. read more

As a Paradise Inn, I had some things that needed to be said.. make the beds comfortable to sleep on... I couldn't sleep more than 2 hours without waking up and moving around. People on the second floor were moving around to where we could hear them VERY WELL (not good). I was also wondering about the hole in the toilet, didn't cross my mind at all but it was worth noting. The TV had buttons that didn't work or was not in range of the bed. Lastly, that air conditioner is pretty darn loud which is one of the reasons why I woke up. The good things I can say are that the breakfast is quite nice and the shower was excellent. Things can be done to improve it, especially when it's in Dillon MT! P.S. This is the best hotel I've been to the pool was amazing and jacuzzi, they were very sanitized and clean, also the staff was excellent and the manager chazz was super friendly and nice and was always making sure we had the best stay possible . The hotel was mediocre at best but that isn't my issue. My issue comes from reserving and paying online only to arrive and be charged again plus another hold on my account of more than the actual room. So far I have paid for a one night stay three times. Once I saw that they were draining my bank account I asked the front desk about it was told they were going to charge me more and that I need to come back that afternoon and speak to the manager. I was very disappointed that the hotel has been infected with Covidian thinking. Here we are in August 2021 and the owners of this hotel apparently think that closing the breakfast option is a good idea...their solution is a lousy grab bag or, you go in, ask for a plate of eggs and then take it back to your room. Great spot for a stay. Nothing elegant but super clean, great folks all around. We stayed just after a Covid reopening and they were immensely helpful. This Best Western doesn't have updated rooms - at least the one where we were wasn't. We were on the ground floor, and we could hear the people in the room above us - when they walked around, flushed, showered, etc. compared to motel 6, BW Paradise Inn is worse. The room itself was not too clean : there were dead bugs crushed on the wall from previous occupants, many moons ago, perhaps? i think they are still there. The dead bugs on the wall, not the occupants. Flies were buzzing around... Not zombie flies, real, live ones. I read on tripadvisor what a good hotel this was, clean, quiet, and great comfortable beds. I'm not sure i ended up in the same hotel. When we were trying to check in, the employee was on the phone with a customer who was complaining about unexplained charges on her credit card - a complaint that appeared in several other reviews on tripadvisor. Guess who's going to diligently, meticulously check her credit card bill?? Free breakfast? If you're used to little, then you won't be disappointed. (I was disappointed. coffee was not good. but I can't complain, right? since it was free...) I was, however, put off by the tip jar. I am a big tipper, but only when I am served at a restaurant. Arrived at 2am and this hotel was only one of 3 available for immediate check in via Hotels.com. I thought that $85 was a bit much to charge on a Sunday. Room with king bed,fridge,microwave and coffee was clean and smelled fine. My only complaint would be the noise level. Trains, ambulances and sirens would wake us up off and on all night. Breakfast is served and there is coffee/tea in the lobby. They're is a restaurant in the parking lot if u miss the free breakfast. read more

It's a really nice place , the people are amazing and understanding on if you have a problem or anything there totally understandable and will help in any way they can. We were travelling North and planning on stopping over in Butte but it turned out to be too long of a day and had to find a place. The staff is very accommodating and everything appears to be quite clean, so its tough to pick it apart but, for $140.00 a night there are much nicer places.....but not in Dillon. The carpet in the room appeared fairly new but the furniture, fixtures and bed were very dated. When I stay in a motel, it is for one reason. Sleeping. The bed was long overdue for replacement and the covers/linens reminded me of industrial quality you might find in a hospital. Lastly, the parking areas are very dim. We were forced to park in the lot next door and there were no lights at all. Good thing Dillon has a low crime rate. If you have a choice and a couple more hours of driving left in you, I would continue on to Butte. read more

Fraudulent. My crew spent the entire day out in the heat working with farmers. We finally got to the hotel about 7. We had three rooms and intended to make this our hotel of choice for the future. We left early the next morning and again spent the next nine hours working with farmers in the area. When the credit card card billed arrived, they accused us of having cats in two of the rooms and charged $150 extra per room. This would imply that we had to have a cat locked in our car for two days in the heat of July while we were working in the field. I believe that someone at the motel gets to pocket the fraudulent pet charge. What a creative way to offer competitive rates that turn out to be very expensive or to essentially embezzle from the customer. We will not be staying here again. read more

We're lucky to find rooms in Dillon during the busy 4th of July weekend. The guy who checked us in was friendly and enthusiastic. :) It was away from the interstate and we had a quiet evening in spite of the fact that the hotel was full. We also requested for a late check out which was given without any problems. We did not even have a single knock on the door by housekeeping while we were getting ready to check out! I changed rooms right away. I thought the room smelled like pets had done a number in there. The other room didn't smell great either. I think it was a combination of the heat and the room deodorizer they use. I got used to that. Everything else was awesome. Huge rooms. All the amenities. Loved the shower. The only thing good about this place was the continental breakfast We had 2 rooms. After arriving back home after a 10 day trip my sister looked at her credit card bill and noticed an extra charge for one of the other rooms that she had rented for her son and his family. After calling the motel and talking to the manager, my sister was told the 150.00 charge was for having a pet in the room. Neither one of the rooms did we have any type of animal. After calling the hotel myself to check what the charge would be if I had a pet they told me it would be 10.00 extra.!So just to let you know make sure when you leave home and you do have animals in your home make sure you don't carry any animal hairs with you because this motel will charge you mega bucks for animal hairs. This hotel was very nice, comfy beds, clean rooms and awesome customer service. We needed directions a couple times to get to nearby ghost towns and the directions were perfect. Then the hot tub was way too hot, so when I told Chaz at the front desk, he immediately came over, added cold water and made it perfect! How awesome is that! read more

We weren't planning on staying in Dillon but we ended up needing a place for the night. There was some convention going on in town and EVERY hotel was totally booked. Chaz at Best Western went out of his way to call around and see if anyone who'd made a reservation and hadn't checked in yet were actually coming. One person did end up cancelling their reservation and he made sure to let us know ASAP and got us in! We're so grateful for his great customer service! Claims on the website say that rooms are now updated and new. Well not so much. Although the rooms were not bad the room I was in was definitely NOT updated. It did look like they were updating some of the areas (pool and spa area). There were red ants in the bed and all over the room. Got bitten. They switched our room, but when we asked if we could get a nominal discount for the trouble we were told we switched rooms and that because the new room was an "upgrade" that was the discount. The logic being that if we had stayed in the room with the ants in the bed then we would have gotten a discount? Travel through Dillion frequently, but won't ever be staying here again. read more

Unacceptable!! This hotel charged me for my room before I had even left home! Then, upon arrival, charged me again " by accident" leaving my debit card a complete mess. This then happened twice more. Between the actual room charges and fees, my card had now been charged $644. Unacceptable!!!! My husband and I were caught up in bad weather and could not make our reservation, even though we called as soon as possible to inform the hotel staff. I was PROMISED a refund by the woman at the front desk, so long as I called and spoke with Andy (the manager) the next morning. I called and was denied a refund for the room. Will be disputing the charge. Special thanks to the woman who told me it "...would be no problem at all to call and receive a refund". I stay in Motel 6 fairly often, and usually don't have any issues. We arrived close to 1am and went straight to bed. When I looked around in the morning I was disgusted. There were hair shavings in the sink, bathtub was not clean, toilet was unclean- basically they made the bed. Not acceptable for any hotel, let alone a brand name. The front desk person was nice about it but couldn't do anything and 'left a note for the manager'. Do not stay here. read more

We stayed here on a holiday weekend. The place was packed. Our room was QUIET. So quiet that we noticed it. Staff was friendly, even the cleaning crew was outgoing and friendly. We rested well at night then spent the next day at Bannack. What a wonderful weekend. We will be back again. read more
