I was a bit nervous as $50 seemed a little high but after picking it up and seeing how gorgeous it was in person I was already happy with my decision. The texture, the flavor, the consistency in both the cake layer heights and how they were baked - it all was perfect. We got 8 generous slices out of this cake and everyone was able to enjoy the fresh fruit on top (although the dipped strawberries I think are the best!). It was perfectly soaked so that it wasn't dry whatsoever but also was able to stand up and not squish under the weight of the toppings. The cake also wasn't too sweet whatsoever (the boarder frosting on the bottom was a little sweet but there's so little of it it didn't make a difference). Overall definitely happy with this purchase and will be ordering from Pastelería Gama again in the future!
