My daughter who is 6 enjoys her weekly sessions. I booked two classes back to back because it's just better for us for her to have longer times in the pool since we don't live close to this school. So far it has worked out great. I also like that the facility opened in September 2025 (which was when we first joined) so it's still new and things are still kept clean. I like that my daughter gets to swim with different instructors every now and then because I believe each one has their own techniques and way of swimming that might click for some kinds and not others. The only way to know is to actually try it! My daughter knows how to swim now but we still go here every week so that she can work on her form and technique. So after over a month of going there, no one wrote down his progress. For example, my son can definitely float on his own but it wasn't filled in. His progress page has nothing written down. As for my 5 year old, we went on a vacation with a pool access and he started swimming in the deep end unassisted on the second day of vacation and by the end he was swimming 40 feet laps. When we came back to this swim school, I communicated that to his swim instructor Gavin. The instructor ignored me and kept him in the same class. Then I went to the front office with my concerns, and the girl said she'll make a note of that so my son can take a placement test next time we come in. Then, when I booked makeup classes for my sons on a Saturday. We got all ready and came to class, they informed us that they have canceled them. We just canceled our memberships right then. This swim school also puts floaties on the kids while learning to swim which I thought was the opposite of what you're supposed to do.

Had I known this I would have not purchased the package swim classes and would have just opted to purchase them one at a time last year . However, as of April 2025 it seems like their website no longer allows for you to purchase one session at a time anyway. From a customer service standpoint no one reached out to us to let me know that my credits would be expiring and that I should book a class soon. So that's a bit of a turn off and a bummer. We live in Hermosa so it's a good 20-25 min drive from our house to get there each time. I'm going to have to rethink whether or not we should continue with them or just look for a closer alternative at this point, given their expiration policy. Seems like such a waste of money. As for the instructor , my daughter has the best rapport with Carissa. All of their instructors are good though.

We have been taking kids lessons with them for 6 months, the goal is to have some regular exercise while getting ready for the junior lifeguard test. They got the kids engaged in the lessons and make it fun to also introduce diving and treading water skills. I recommend Swimphi for kids who want to do more swimming while not ready for swim team.

We did a couple days of the immersive class with her and after the second day she was laughing and loving every second with teacher Jackie. She loved it so much that after the end of the four day immersive classes (45minute 1:1s) she wanted to keep doing classes. So we signed her up for a few more 1:1s once a week. After a couple more of them, she was jumping off the deep end, floating, swimming back to the ledge and pulling herself out all by herself. We took a big break from lessons until we found CC Swim Academy and Ali in particular, who is a fantastic instructor. Now, with two little ones, 5 and 3, we dove headfirst into lessons and they both progressed so quickly. Ali has taught them the building blocks of swimming and it was amazing to watch. They've now learned so much and Ali has made them really comfortable in the water. They jump in the pool, do flips, go on water slides, etc. All things that take confidence they learned from Ali.
