Coach Daniel B is one of the best swim teachers! He is so gentle and patient, while still helping kids to make a ton of progress. On the first lesson with our 4-year-old daughter, he taught her to completely submerge her head under the water, no tears! He also helped her to kick and swim in short spurts on her own, all in the first lesson. She made so much progress in just one month of lessons. Stef at Regal swim has done a great job for our two little boys so far. We were using another service for the last two summers and we're not impressed with the results after over 15 sessions. In only two with Stef, we already see a major improvement and progression in our boys swimming skill. We appreciate her patience (especially with our 3 yo who can be a handful and get distracted very easily), as well as her perseverance in trying to progress them to the next step. Marci has been teaching our two little ones (5 and 3 year old) since May (1 month), and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for how far along they have come since then. Before Marci, our kids have never has swim lessons and they only were able to get in our pool with floaties on. The 1st lesson we had with Marci was great followed by several lessons with both kiddos crying throughout the whole lesson. But if you can stick it out, you won't regret it. Marci is very professional and her methods really do work. My little one took lessons at a local swim school for 3 months and was barely blowing bubbles. On the 4th lesson with Marci he could jump in and swim to the side of the pool!! I am thrilled to write this review for Coach Dan and Regal Swim. RS is recommended by a lot of Parents in the South Bay, and we have to agree with all of the other clients, that Regal Swim is great!! It is so nice that the coaches come to your house. We had 10 lessons with Coach Dan and he arrived on the dot every single time. The scheduling platform is easy to use on the RS website, and if there needed to be any communication Dan would email or text with professionalism. Our LO already knew how to swim, but Dan improved her technique and diving. His ability to adapt to our LO's skill level, make each lesson effective, and pack so much information into only ten 30 minute lessons, had us thoroughly impressed. Our LO had so much fun, and they looked forward to every lesson. We are sad that Dan is no longer taking clients, but have confidence in anyone from RS. We can't wait until next Summer! I found Regal Swim, and our instructor Dina, online while looking for an at-home swim instructor for my 3 and 5 year olds. The Regal Swim website makes scheduling so simple, and Dina is fantastic: she really speaks "kid" and had both of my boys engaged and comfortable within a minute of their first lesson. Dan has been teaching our 4.5 year old and his friend (same age) for the past few months, and we've been blown away by the progress they've made!! They started out iffy with being able to stay afloat and afraid to jump in the pool, and now they're eagerly jumping into the deep end and swimming independently across the length of the pool! Dan is patient and does so well with the little ones. He responds well to their fears and somehow manages to convince them to go forward and feel so proud of their accomplishments. Both Marci and Kira worked with my little ones and within only a few short months they went from bring scared of the water to not wanting to get out of the pool! My 4 year old is able to comfortably get around the pool on her own and is diving for rings. My 2 year old was a handful for Marci and refused to participate and cried most of the time, but somehow Marci got him swimming and now he floats on his back and go underwater. We can't thank and Kate enough! What Progress our kid has made!! Before lessons with Ms. Kate, my son E would only get in the pool with me, even then he was at complete monkey on my back. I think we've only had 5 , 30 minute lessons but today! My scaredy cat is swimming! UNDERWATER! Our lessons ended at 1pm today. At 4:30 we where still in the pool. Swimming is E's new favorite thing! Marci at Regal Swim started teaching swimming to my oldest son when he was four years old. At the time, he had two other private teachers but he was not making progress. But with Marci he began to quickly learn. It was incredible to watch how fast he progressed. We later enrolled our youngest son (aged 3) for lessons with Regal Swim and Marci. He was scared of the water, but she helped him overcome it and taught him how to swim. Marci is an excellent swimming teacher. I highly recommend her. read more

I had an amazing experience with Marci as my swim coach. She coached me for a triathlon I was training for, and I greatly improved in my swimming abilities under her guidance. At the start of our sessions, I didn't even have enough stamina or skill to swim across a 50 meter pool. In my triathlon I was passing up most of the other swimmers. It felt great to gain that much confidence and strength in the water. Also Marci's coaching style really worked well for me. She has a structured approach and had me doing workouts on my own, aiming for benchmarks during each workout to improve my form and speed. Kira has been giving my 2 year old lessons for the last few weeks. She is so great with him. In just a few weeks she has helped him so much! He loves showing us everything he learned during the week. Marci taught my oldest daughter how to swim when she was 4. She was very professional, always on time, and my daughter instantly felt comfortable with her. My daughter received a very strong foundation from Marci - much more effective than subsequent lessons from local Y. My 6 yr. old daughter was reluctant to put her head underwater when she started lessons with Regal Swim.
