We didn't end up catching anything ourselves (just a bit of bad luck), though we were over big schools of fish and saw several people nearby land some great catches. I even had one on the line that spit the hook as I was reeling in, nothing you can do about that. Catching or not, it was a gorgeous day cruising past the tip of Cape Cod, spotting seals and other marine life, and enjoying the salt air. The whole experience was relaxed, well-run, and a lot of fun. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Provincetown -- and hopefully we'll have better luck with the bites next time.

We are long time Cape people and now that our daughter is getting older, really wanted to take her out on the water this summer. however, we were nervous to do a full whale watching day as her first time out since we didn't know how she'd be on the water. We cannot stress enough how amazing the 10:30 am Scenic Tour was!!!! It was 90 minutes, perfect for young kids. We saw seals, lighthouses, cormorants, and as a serious surprise, Whales! The captain, Jon the tour education, and everyone on board were amazing and all stars talking to our daughter. It was a magical morning and I would HIGHLY recommend this new addition tour option to all, but especially those with young families Snacks, bathrooms, and ample seating (including shade spots) on board.

Nico was quite accomodating about arrangements and answering questions. Our trip included fishing for bait, blue fish and an attempt at Striped Bass. He answered questions from teenagers and drove the boat fast and we even got a look at a large contingent of seals and a glimpse at some whales. We did make one large catch of a striped Bass and several of the blue fish which gave us enough for several meals (6 of the 7 of us went fishing). All the teenagers said they would be interested in doing this again with Nico in the future!

We booked a Sunset Sail, which is a 1.5 hour trip around the bay, and we were glad to be joined by 2 other couples and 1 other pup! (If you're counting, that makes 8 humans and 3 dogs aboard!) You can also book a private trip, which is slightly more expensive of course. Captain Ro and Kaled were a great team and made us feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed. It was a beautiful day to sail (week before Labor Day weekend) and Captain Ro allowed us to climb onto the deck once we killed the engine and were out in the bay. These trips do not guarantee animal sightings but we did see a whole group of seals bobbing their heads out of the water watching us as we sailed on by, which was extremely endearing to see. FYI the crew provides life vests for the pups and you can bring whatever you want to eat/drink aboard to enjoy.

Russ landed us on stripers amd when we caught our limit, he trolled us around looking for blue fish. He was a super captain. Very approachable, and accommodating. We have been on many charters all over the country and Russ was really our favorite! He fileted our fish at the pier, and fed the leftovers to the gray seal Jack. We had an awesome time. Can not wait to give him a shout and go fishing again. Highly recommend!

Someone told us about this super cool couple from Key West that owned a catamaran and were docked in Ptown for the summer, and offered sunset charters for small groups. Our group of three booked a sunset sailing tour and it was the perfect Ptown experience. We brought in our own wine, and they provided snacks, let us play our own music and gave us our own cabin to store our belongings. The boat was huge, had paddle boats and kayaks. And an inflatable island with seats and cup holders! Lindsay and Tadd were truly incredible, fun and super accommodating hosts. They made the whole experience super laid back and pressure free - just what we needed. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

I came here with my oil painting class to paint the docs, the boats, and the pier. It was a…read morebeautiful day, and I loved admiring the water. Parking wasn't too bad either. The only issue I had though was a HUGE problem for me. I needed to use the lavatories and ended up settling for the closes porta potty. I mean I've been camping, I've been to summer camp. I've seen worse. I mean the bathroom there is called "The Morgue." This was just wrong. No one had done maintenance on this facility, and it was a biohazard. Seriously, the person who is in charge of cleaning the area and maintaining this facility should be fired. I rarely say this, but I'm serious, someone could get very sick from walking into this space and touching anything. This was not ok in the least bit.

Nice little spot for a stroll in P-town! If you walk out on the pier you can take in some nice…read morewater and beach views. I've been coming up to P-town each year since I was a kid and this is a spot I love to visit each time. Before you get to the pier you have a good selection of places to grab a quick bite to eat. The ferry for Boston is at the end of the pier, but there are other spots along the way where you can catch boat or fishing trips. Some cute little shops also dot this pier, I picked up some adorable Cape Cod art prints for my wall. Be sure to look for the bench surrounded by the buoys, it's a nice place to get a photo. The pier is also a nice spot to take photos of the Pilgrim Monument. This is very close to Commercial Street, so it's worth taking 10 minutes to walk down the pier and soak up some New England vibes.
