We booked a Sunset Sail, which is a 1.5 hour trip around the bay, and we were glad to be joined by 2 other couples and 1 other pup! (If you're counting, that makes 8 humans and 3 dogs aboard!) You can also book a private trip, which is slightly more expensive of course. Captain Ro and Kaled were a great team and made us feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed. It was a beautiful day to sail (week before Labor Day weekend) and Captain Ro allowed us to climb onto the deck once we killed the engine and were out in the bay. These trips do not guarantee animal sightings but we did see a whole group of seals bobbing their heads out of the water watching us as we sailed on by, which was extremely endearing to see. FYI the crew provides life vests for the pups and you can bring whatever you want to eat/drink aboard to enjoy.

Since I don't own a boat, I hired Captain Curley. Had a fabulous time out with Captain Curley. Though we originally had to reschedule due to rain and high seas, Captain Curley went out of his way to accommodate us and fit us in during our limited time on Cape. It's very relaxing. We sailed only on wind power. We were given the choice to assist with the tacking. Or sitting back to relax and enjoy the experience. It's a smaller boat - 19'. It can accommodate 6 (in addition to the captain). We had plenty of room with our party of 3 Definitely wear or bring some flip flops. You need to wade through knee deep water to actually get onto Jeremy Point. Jeremy Point was fabulous. We were there at high tide. So it was more of a sandbar. We saw lots of terns and even some seals frolicking off shore.

When we arrived we were told they don't let carts out after 5 pm. My husband is on dialysis and the only way he can play is with a cart. It would have been nice if they had mentioned it on the phone when we called. When it stays light out until 9:00 it's ridiculous that they don't let carts out after 5:00. Just one cart rental would pay the young workers hourly wage to stay open for 2 more hours. Imagine if they rented 10 more carts?? So frustrated. What a terrible policy! So they'd rather their guests walk the course in 80 degree temperatures than make money. It doesn't make any sense to me. I won't be back

We are long time Cape people and now that our daughter is getting older, really wanted to take her out on the water this summer. however, we were nervous to do a full whale watching day as her first time out since we didn't know how she'd be on the water. We cannot stress enough how amazing the 10:30 am Scenic Tour was!!!! It was 90 minutes, perfect for young kids. We saw seals, lighthouses, cormorants, and as a serious surprise, Whales! The captain, Jon the tour education, and everyone on board were amazing and all stars talking to our daughter. It was a magical morning and I would HIGHLY recommend this new addition tour option to all, but especially those with young families Snacks, bathrooms, and ample seating (including shade spots) on board.
