I'm giving it two stars instead of one, because the first time we were here for the funeral of my family member all seemed to go very well. However, when returning for the unveiling, it all went downhill. I'm talking about one man in the office and one man of the grounds crew driving the golf cart. When we arrived, it was raining, I went inside to make sure that our previously made arrangements with Courtney were being followed. A tent and chairs were requested. The chairs were there completely filled with water, like tiny swimming pools. The tent was nowhere to be seen. I asked the man in the office if we could please have our tent because it was raining, he replied "there is an overhang, unless the rain is driving sideways you will be fine." I did tell him the name of the person we were here for, and he should have known that there is no overhang where we were sitting. Therefore, we would not be protected. We went outside to make sure that what I had said was true. Lo and behold, there is no overhang. There is one on the side of the mausoleums, not where we were. In any case, a man comes by, a supervisor I assume, driving a golf cart with crew members walking along with him. I went over and said, "excuse me, sir, do you have any towels we might use to wipe off the chairs?" He looked at me blankly and replied "we don't have any towels." He then proceeded to throw a dirty, small yellow rag at me. As you can imagine, at an unveiling, for my family member, I was not in the mood. I walked quietly to the seats to wipe them off, where I discovered the mini swimming pools. There was a kindly looking crewmember near me, I asked him if he had any towels for me. He very nicely took the rag from my hand, produced his own as well, and proceeded to wipe all the chairs off. At least there's one crewmember that looks kindly upon people in their sadness. These may seem to be small or petty indiscretions by the staff. The inconsiderate office manager, the rude crew supervisor, the incompetent person who handled the unveiling reservation. I can assure you if you were burying a family member you would not be in the mood for this nonsense either. read more

The customer service at Beth David was excellent and the grounds were nicely maintained and spacious. Marilyn met us promptly in her office at the scheduled time and explained everything regarding the cremation in detail. She was extremely patient with us concerning the plaque for the front of the niche where the ashes are laid to final rest. The brief ceremony was flawless and well organized. read more

The arrangements were quick and the staff were patient and caring. The detailed plaque information was adjusted a few times to get it exactly as I wanted. The placement of the plaque in the wall was easy and a sad but an experience that everyone at some time will endure. read more

I purchased. Mothers wall in 2013. I am all alone and I was very afraid. Murray Rubin from the funeral home told me then, when the time comes call me day or night and I will do everything. April 10, 2020 the time came . Murray kept his word! He answered his personal cell phone immediately and arranged everything for me. He even came to my moms service ! He was so so wonderful! The funeral home was incredible also - thank you Michael blasberg The Cemetary is so beautiful, peaceful and serene. Jane Vigil helped me with everything and was so kind and professional. I was so lucky to have her help me design my moms wall. I feel so blessed that my mother is at such an amazing atmosphere. My mother deserved the best and Beth David is really just that. A long time ago, before I was born, my grandparents purchased 12 burial plots. For as long as I can remember I've been told that the location of my final resting place will never be in question. As I have not yet come to an age that I would consider ripe or old I'd not considered this as a wonderful gift, but in light of significant personal tragedy I think perhaps the greatest gift out there is a burial package (how to appropriately go about giving one... That's another story). As unfortunate events led to searching out a burial site (not for me as previously stated I already have one) I've learned that the actual land that you are choosing with dirt and grass included (if you choose to be buried in the ground of course) could be the least of your expenses. There are several other necessities to consider such as the funeral hall, officiant, grave digging and coffin lowering... I was not part of all decisions or details, but you get the gist. While some plans come into place after serious planning, BDLW Memorial Gardens was able to quickly undertake all tasks without any prior notice. Within less than 24 hours they came up with a complete package. BDLW Memorial Gardens was definitely there in the darkest of hours. They showed up at the hospital, almost immediately after being notified conducted their business with respect and they were quite comforting. They met all requests and were even gracious when an office was needed for private consultation. The grounds are very well kept and the stones are nothing short of amazing. Some of them are such works of art you forget you are looking at a gravestone. They have Estates for sale as well. Planning for the end should be the new normal. Having to put all the arrangements at the end can be overwhelming. It is comforting to know that all can be taken care of quickly, respectfully, and beautifully. read more

I never had the pleasure Of personally meeting Phyllis, however every detail of the monument was carried out exactly as my children and myself had wished it to be. No one can compare with the compassion and concern extended to us byJane Vigil. She made a very difficult and painful task as pleasant as possible. They should be ashamed of themselves. When my loved on passed away in November, I was away on business and I only travel with one credit card with a 10 k limit. Not only do they totally take advantage of you at a time of need , the clearly don't care about ANYTHING but MONEY. The cost was way over 10 k , I as the executor of his estate , am legally responsible to pay for all funeral cost per the court. I did not have a way of paying for the funeral other than maxing out my credit card and being balanced billed. At first, they said they would bill the estate for the funeral part but not the real estate transaction. I agreed , I had to call people to get together the additional money for the real estate portion. Once I did, they then said oh no you have to pay for the entire thing or we will not bury him. Are they kidding? First you offer to bill the estate , then you try to extort money from me? I offered them to speak to the estate attorney to make sure that there was money for them to be paid and to get a legal document stating that they would be paid. The FLAT OUT REFUSED. I offered that they can put a lean against both of our homes if they did not get paid . Again they FLAT OUT REFUSED !!! I asked them what do they do if someone can not afford to pay for a funeral. They said that they have organizations that help with that. I asked for the organizations phone number. Again They refused to give me the number. They has the audacity to say " you can afford it, you don't need the number. ( I was going to ask the organization to help me out and pay they back after I was appointed by the court as the legal representative ,along with a donation. )Who is David to decide what I can pay and what I can't ,I have never met him before, now I had to find another12 K in an hour. Really, it's bad enough someone passes away suddenly, Levitt Weinstein is so money hungry they resort to something just short of extortion. It was so bad that They were putting time constraints on me to get the money. Catch this after getting all the money together and showing up for the funeral ,they started again, I was told if I didn't pay another 30 something dollars, they would not do the funeral. Really you charged over 24 K and you couldn't wait until after the funeral to ask for 30 something dollars? After the fact I have heard from numerous families that they has happened to them as well. Please DONOT GET RIPPED OFF BY THEM . I KNOW they overcharged me to move the body from central Florida down to Hollywood ( it cost more than flying a body up north to NY , PA or NJ. I cannot thank Michael Blasberg and his staff (especially Michele) for all their kindness and help with my mom's recent death. Since I live in another state, Michael was able to get my mom quickly, take care of her, treat her with respect and notify me all the while about her status. Michael made himself available to me 24 hours a day, if needed. That is above and beyond! They also respected what we wanted for my mom's ceremony and did not question anything that we asked, even though things were not so traditional.
