However, accepting that it was time for her to move into another home environment was really difficult. I was hysterical and cried to Tamara. She showed me such care and compassion that day, I knew this was the best place possible for my Mom. To this day, she remains sincere, caring and compassionate, to me and all the residents every day. Mom moved into Twin Cedars December 1, 2017. I notice a lot when I visit my Mom. I see how the residents look, how they smell, I see how the staff members treat the residents and very important - I see how the residents react to the staff. I have said it before and I still say it today, I am so thankful they have a great staff. I know the heart of Twin Cedars begins with the owner, she really makes TC the wonderful place, a home. The staff is a direct reflection of that. They work very hard, I see it myself. They are so very good to the residents and joke and play with them. The whole feeling of TC is a very warm, caring and family environment. The staff has unending patience with me, my questions and some slightly over the top requests. On a great note, because of the care that my Mom has received over the last 10 months, I feel less protective and less worried as I know she is safe. I visit once a week and always feel welcome and happy there. I am thankful to all at Twin Cedars. The house (a beautiful ranch style, very large home) is always neat, clean, odor free and comfortable. The food that is served is well balanced and very tasty. There is a nice variety and they are always willing to help and offer choices. The activities and enrichment programs seem endless. You can tell that the people working there are doing with love in their hearts. Not only do they take care of your loved one, they help you adjust to the new life you will have. I cannot say enough positive wonderful things about Twin Cedars. Having them so close to my home is a real blessing. Thank you Tamara and all the beautiful staff. I will see you soon!

Above all, our family has been impressed with the staff, very positive, very enthusiastic and respectful. Everyone at Twin Cedars cares about their jobs and it shows. My family had concerns when the pandemic began, but the facility put those fears to bed. We've been deeply satisfied with how seriously the staff has taken the coronavirus. They have absolutely risen to the challenge and taken the utmost precautions. In times like these it is more important than ever that the staff do their very best, and I know they give 110% here. Since they have not had a single case of coronavirus,I feel safer having my grandma here than I feel going into most stores. Couldn't reccomend Twin Cedars enough - thank you to everyone at the facility for their hard work and dedication

From Judy, to the nurses, to the PT team, everyone here is passionate about the work they do. You can feel the dedication in the way they interact with residents every day. Staff members even stay after hours to coordinate events, activities, and social gatherings that make the Manor feel like a real home, not just a facility. The level of compassion, consistency, and heart at Wayne Woodlands is incredible -- it's clear the residents are genuinely loved and supported. Highly recommended.

A diabetic resident was given insulin when their sugar was already low. That resident passed out and was given orange juice even though they are allergic to orange juice. A nurse went off on this resident because they vomited on the floor. A resident has a urine bag that needs to be emptied when it starts getting full. There was a day when nobody emptied that bag and it burst. Urine soaked the resident's pants, socks and shoes. That resident stayed in those clothes for hours after this happened! A nurse changed the bag but nobody changed the clothes. The resident developed sores from the urine. The shoes and clothes were washed but the shoes were thrown in the dryer which made them shrink. A family member had to buy new shoes for the resident. Nurses and aides write on a chart that certain residents are given a shower on different days when sone of those residents did not actually get a shower. The nurses and aides write on a chart saying they put certain residents to bed at night, help them get up in the morning and help them get dressed. There are times when certain residents put themselves to bed or they fall asleep in a chair that they sit in that is in their room. Some residents are not helped with getting out of bed in the morning until after they are made to have breakfast while still in their bed. Sone residents wear the same clothes for days because the staff are too lazy to change them. The kitchen staff at this place are also a joke! They can't get an order correct when someone asks for one thing in place of something else. The resident is instead given what is written on the white board instead of the substitute that they asked for. The lady in the office threatens to evict your elderly family member when they can't pay what she expects them to pay. She says she will take care of certain paperwork but then decides that it's not her responsibility to do it. The paperwork will not get done and she will then threaten to evict the resident. This place is nothing but a joke. It's sad to see how certain residents are treated like trash while others are treated like gold!

The staff is sorry he left but as I said his request If anyone every has the need for Julia Ribaudos extended care or rehab no need to worry you will be in great hands and treated with RESPECT My friend did not like the food but hey I tasted it is was good and flavorful my friend is a junk food person so that explains that even when he was at home all he ate was mostly junk food unless I cooked for him and I did quite often if your looking for a safe place for a loved one please check them out they will answer all your questions honestly and politely . I only hope that my friend recieves the same wonderful professional care in his new home as he recieved at Julia Ribaudos words can not express how both my friend and I feel about all the staff and administration at Julia's such a wonderful place in a time of need Thank You Julia Ribaudos and everyone involved I would have given a a lot more stars but you are only allowed to give 5 tops

Terrible place, staff doesn't care about the patients, and remember it is a FOR PROFIT institution,…read moreand the rate you pay is the highest in the state . After accepting my 87 yo dad knowing that he was in the last stages of Parkinson, and unfortunately beginning to get aggressive. The staff there did not pay him much attention, as they were " not trained " to deal with someone like my dad. There is a certain way to treat parkinson patients in this stage, obviously , their way it to either drug them to be quiet, or in our case, ask him to leave ! They also have less staff that the average....coming up short in many places. Knowing that my dad could eat only pureed food, he wasn't given a choice, left alone in his dirty / wet clothed and bedclothes until my mom went to visit ( and it was every day ) Changing his meds, or not giving him certain meds to calm him down. If we had know this, we would never had gone there , except for the fact that is was closer for my 87 yo mom. They actually "dismissed " him from their care and sent him to another facility. This was only a few months ago. When I sent an email complaining about the center, it was passed along to 5 different administrators until one of them finally and the **** *to answer me. , This is from the body of one of the emails, " Not sure who wants to take this below.  MIke ...... " Someone needs to learn email etiquette, and how not to include the person who is directing the complaint Unfortunately, my dad passed in Sept , but in an absolutory wonderful Hospice Center where they had a really caring staff.

Our Aunt and Uncle have been at the Gardens of GreenRidge for almost a year now and we are so…read morepleased to have found this caring home staffed with such competent people. Our Uncle is in the memory unit - he needs a higher level of care and the ability to be kept from wandering away. His wife is literally on the other side of a locked door, able to see him and visit with him at any hour of the day or night - but without the constant worry that he will fall or wander away when she is sleeping. It's a good solution that allows them to be together without worry. Our Aunt is quite mobile, active, and socially engaged. And although neither wanted to leave their home of 60 years, she is no longer lonely, and no longer worries constantly about the ability to care for her husband. When our Aunt took a fall, she was placed in the hospital care portion of the Gardens of GreenRidge next door, and received excellent physical therapy. She is now back up walking around and feeling great. She loves the weekly bath in the deep soaking tub (attended by staff member) and the in-home hair stylist appointment each week. She raves about the meals, and loves seeing so many people she knew from years ago with whom she had lost touch. My husband and I are very pleased that the staff welcomes our visits, never asks us to call ahead, and always seems happy to see us. The facility is brightly lit, well taken care of, and smells fresh. Our Aunt and Uncle have good things to say about everyone and about the facility itself. Yes, they miss living at home, but both seem less stressed and are adjusting to a new style of life. We feel so fortunate that my sister-in-law and her husband found this facility, made the arrangements to have our Aunt and Uncle accepted here, and have a peace of mind that our family is well taken care of. We highly recommend a visit. The only reason I did not rate it 5 star for activities is that I am not aware of any "outings" into the community to go shopping, etc. This would add additional costs, I am sure, but would be a nice bonus.
